“Absolutely amazing care given to our girl. Jenevieve was excellent at communicating and sending pictures. I felt at ease that she was getting a lot of love when I couldn't give it to her.”

“Patricia was wonderful with my senior dog! She was so kind, quick to communicate, and worked with me on drop off and pick up times due to my chaotic schedule the weekend of my son’s wedding! I will absolutely work with her again!”

About: Hi! I'm Ross, I grew up having Labrador Retrievers as family pets and have always had a strong love of dogs. I like all dogs, big or small! I'm great at responding to a pets needs. I love to give them the attention and play that they want while maintaining appropriate disciple/doggie boundaries ( like not jumping up on strangers). I am good at reading dogs body language which helps to know if they are tired, playful, need to go to the bathroom, not feeling well, or just need some attention! Working from home gives me extra flexibilty to give the pups extra attention when they need it. Regardless of the setting I am able to follow the guidelines that you have set up for your pet. I look forward to getting to know your dogs!!
“This was my first time leaving my dog for daycare with Jaden. He is very aware of the needs of the dogs, and my dog didn’t show any anxiety issues during his stay. I’m very pleased and would recommend him to others.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Kayla! She responds quickly and is so easy to work with. She watched my dog in her home and made leaving my pup so easy and I came home to a calm, stress-free dog. She kept in touch and sent pictures to reassure me they were doing great. Best of all, my dog loved her!! Thanks Kayla!”

“Great sitter. It was a GR party of 3! My dog was worn out, happy and well taken care of. Daily updates with a picture was sent. Thx for your care! Would recommend and use Kayla again.”

“Shannah and her husband were awesome with our kittens! We had to last minute travel for a family emergency and they were available to take care of Taco and Cheeto. They sent updates everyday and were really responsive. Would highly recommend!”

“Boarding with Sasha was our first Rover experience. And she was wonderful! Great communication, friendly, punctual during pickup and was willing to adjust to a later drop off time. Overall very happy :) Thank you Sasha!”

“Kari is quick to respond to messages and was easy to work with. She was super about last minute time changes. She sent pictures and kept me updated on how my girl was doing. All in all a good experience and Freddie gives her a paws up!”

“It was our dogs' first time staying with someone other than family, so we were a bit nervous at first... but upon meeting, we were immediately put at ease. Our dogs had a blast and were absolutely treated with the same love and snuggles our family gives. We loved the updates, and both dogs came home ready for a long nap from lots of playtime with their new friends. We are grateful and will definitely use Mackenzie and Anthony again!! Thank you, thank you!!”

“Savannah was amazing! She went above and beyond for our dog. She provided pictures and videos during our vacation, and let us know how everything was going. You can truly tell how much she and her husband care. Our dog was sad to leave her and her dogs behind.. shows how much love he received! Highly reccommed!!”

About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! I am also committed to ensuring that any client who has special accommodations for their pets gets those wishes granted and will do everything in my power to make sure the pet has a great time with me!!
About: I’ve had dogs around my whole life! I grew up with two black labs and a terrier mix. I now have my own dog, a golden doodle named Oakley. He is 2 and he is my whole world. I will care for all your pets as well as I care for mine because I know they are our world! I currently work a 8-5 job as a speech therapist with kids, but would be a happy to help after work with any requests you may have and weekends! I will care for your pets AND your home as I would hope someone would care for mine. I have used Rovers of my own for my Oakley and am comfortable with any service you are requesting. I will make sure all of your dogs needs are met.
“Sara & family are great! Hashbrown always has the best time! We unexpectedly needed to extend our trip out of town this stay- which meant needing to pick him up a day later than planned and Sara was so accommodating! Thanks again, until next time! 😊”

“Alicia was responsive and took great care of Harry while we were away. He came home happy and tired, which is a nice combo. :) It was nice to know he was in a house with other pets and kiddos to play with.”
