Experienced with cats, dogs, house rabbits, chickens, ducks, and sheep, as well as upkeeping my own country and city homes through the years. I’m quite the homebody, whether at my own home or housesitting :) As a former country cottage-renter, and living on my own for the past 13 years, I'm used to caring for a house. I've also lived for years in a city apartment, and managed all aspects of that kind of life. I am relatively handy, especially with older/quirky houses, yet know when to call in the professionals. I've also worked as an Airbnb turnover cleaner/caretaker, which involved maintaining a large summer garden. A homebody at heart, I'm able to spend most of my time on your property, and to accommodate special situations. I love to explore for a bit, then return to the sanctuary of home. Growing up, I volunteered at the Animal Rescue League across the street and had various pets of my own. When I was 8, we moved to a more rural location and I was finally able to get a kitten, who became my best friend. At the age of 12, I used my own savings to adopt a dachshund mix who'd caught my heart. I take all the animal time I can get - pets have always been my people, so to speak. I love animals, but can't currently make the long-term commitment to a pet. I also adore travel, and working online allows me some freedom of location. I appreciate settling in to visit a place for weeks or months, and getting to know new animal friends in that time.

About: My pets are indoors AND outside because I have safe, pet friendly, separated or joined, sheltered, natural areas where we can all unwind on my seven acres. I'm a retiree who devotes all my time to my grandkids, animals and hobbies. Your pets' needs are provided for at all times whether they are here for a day, week or month as they are included in our family activities. Pets are kept separated or allowed to play together depending on their needs. I provide crates, mats, kennels and even my bed for peaceful sleeping.

“Sasha is a very reliable pet sitter and we were in constant contact about my 3 guinea pigs throughout my two-week trip away. :) As a person who is anxious about leaving her guinea pigs alone, she was very sensitive to that and made sure that my worries were eased by providing updates and completing my day by day requests. She follows care instructions carefully and exactly. Daily guinea pig care can be a little messy, and I'm glad she was up for it! About: Hi, welcome! My name is Grace and I would be honored to care for your beloved pet while you are away! I’ve had plenty of experience with dogs, cats, and bunnies. Most notably, I’ve been a consistent caretaker for two energetic black labs for the past 8 years. I’ve also cared for fish, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon. If you think I’d be a good fit for your furry (or scaly!) family please reach out! I do not currently have any commitments! I’m new to the area and excited to meet some fur friends here. My new job will start September 14, 2026, but until then I’m wide open! Once I start my position, I’ll be working 8 hour days in Urbandale (if you’re close to that area I am more than willing to spend my lunch breaks with your pet). Once I’m back from work for the day I am ready to play! Coming home to an animal friend is one of the best feelings, and I want to give your pet all the love possible! I feel very comfortable being away from home. I love getting to help families keep their animal loved ones in a place they are familiar with. Whether you have a fenced in yard or no yard at all, I always get play time in every day. I love watching pets’ personalities blossom in their own space.

About: I grew up with animals and as an adult i have had cats and dogs my whole life. I have also enjoyed caring for friends and family pets when needed. I have volunteered at the ARL and received some training. I have an open schedule with lots of flexibility that allows for plenty of time to take care of or hang out with my furrbabies. I prefer to keep dogs leashed when a fence is not available. My cat stays indoors. I treat my pets as my children. For outdoor cats, it depends on the owner. I have seen GPS used to keep track of their location outside.

About: I have lots of experience working with dogs with Thyroid disorders, joint problems, hip problems, diabetes, and special diets. I'm very flexible. All you have to do is ask and we'll see. I've had Chocolate Labs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Poodles, Terriers, and Shih Tzus. I love animals especially puppies and dogs. I am also willing to watch your cats if you also have them. I wanted to be a veterinarian or veterinary assistant but I didn't quite have the grades for it so that's why I decided to become a dog sitter, a dog walker, pet care taker, dog lover, and pet lover. About: I had dog when I was only 5 years old and always been taking care of dogs since I was growing up and now have my own baby, Porky and everyone always relies on me to watch their dogs and caring fir them while they are gone. I really love animals and dogs big time. I always let them outside whenever they feel like it and play roam around in backyard with fence :) I would go on dog walking and they give me excuses to work out too lol. They are my world. I would treat ur dogs as if they were my own. I am working a full time student at college but very flexible with hours. I can do after work for dog walking and even babysitting them too. My husband, he will definitely help me out if I need to when I m at school etc. Can always talk about needs and when etc. I do have a big backyard with fenced around. I have two dogs they will love to play with others. I would like to introduce them to your first before start let them play. I can always separate them if need to so they can take turns. I can give them bath, feed, take them out for walk, and even stay overnight if need. I would let you bring ur own dog foods for ur pets so that way it Is separate. I will always give them treats if being good. All you have to do is let me know what not to do or to do for them so I can be prepared.

Been around all kinds of pets since I was a kid, and having the chance to engage with YOUR pets now is a great opportunity Im ready to take. I work from home, so I’m home all the time to watch after your fur baby. Your dog will get daily walks, treats, and affection. I have a fenced in yard, 3 lovely fur babies, and I can guarantee you almost every single toy in pet smart, I own😂 Your pet will be in a smoke and drink free home, we do have birds but they are caged together in their room, and do not get let out. My house, will now be your pet’s new temporary house until whenever you decide to come back! Getting to spend time with your pet, and keep mine company, is a delightful idea.
