“Allison took care of our two small dogs for a week. I can’t say enough how amazing she was. Our little Morkie jumped off the bed and injured his shoulder (of course when we were out of the country). Allison was right on it! She let me know what happened and kept me updated continuously. When he didn’t get better, Allison took him to our vet. She updated me several times per day and started him on his anti-inflammatory medication right away. I hated being away when our little buddy was injured but Allison took great care of him, updated me often and was so empathetic and made me feel confident that he was being taken care of so well. 10/10 recommend! About: I grew up with animals and as an adult i have had cats and dogs my whole life. I have also enjoyed caring for friends and family pets when needed. I have volunteered at the ARL and received some training. I have an open schedule with lots of flexibility that allows for plenty of time to take care of or hang out with my furrbabies. I prefer to keep dogs leashed when a fence is not available. My cat stays indoors. I treat my pets as my children. For outdoor cats, it depends on the owner. I have seen GPS used to keep track of their location outside.

About: I am very versatile. Adaptable. I have always tended to lean toward older dogs and have had older dogs up to age of 18. I have an absolute love of all animals. I work 2 days a week Wed and Friday. Friday is an 8 hour day in Ankeny. I am available after 445 on Fridays. I love all living creatures but I am allergic to cats. I have owned dogs, my last one passed away last year. I am a nurse and am very comfortable giving meds, injections and recognizing illness in dogs. I have done all of these things with past pets and dog sits. It would have to be in clients home. My current living situation does not allow for sitting in my home. I am well traveled and adapt well to many situations. I grew up in Des Moines and am very familiar with the area and surrounding areas.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was about 12 years old! I have pet sitted dogs, and cats! Each pet deserves as much attention and comfortablity when their owners/parents are away. About: Spending time and interacting with animals has always been a passion of mine.
