“Great communication and daily photos/videos. This was our first time leaving our dog, so she didn't eat for the first day we were gone. We collaborated on some problem solving, and she decided she could eat again with the help of some peanut butter. House was well cared for, as well.”
2. Brian S.
“Brian was great to have for our 3 big dogs! He not only took great care of the dogs, but also left the house very clean, which was really nice to come home to! I definitely recommend Brian and will work with him again!”
3. Tiffany D.
About: I’ve trained puppies and dogs before, I have also cared for special needs animals. I would love to make new furry friend's and human ones!🐶❤️ I’m great at communication and time management , and I’ve got plenty of time and cuddles to go around as this is my full time job! Safety is top priority! I will of course pick up after animal and myself feed and water animal as needed with plenty of love and care! If there are any special instructions just notify!🐶
4. Angie M.
“We would highly recommend Angie for anyone’s pet sitting needs! She didn’t experience any issues with our elderly, special needs dog who requires medication and a Bailey chair to eat in twice a day, who also can be dog reactive on walks. Nor with our senior cat who requires medication daily as well. Our other senior cat who is very skittish even came out to say hi, which I think shows a lot about Angie’s character. We loved the occasional check ins and photos of our pets we received from Angie. On top of all of that, we came home to a clean house. After being gone 10 days. With 3 shedding pets in the house! We feel very fortunate to have found Angie. She will be our top choice for all future pet sitting needs.”
5. Eleni J.
“Eleni is responsible, professional, knowledgeable, and kind. She is passionate about caring for animals and it's evident from the first introduction with your fur baby. If you are looking for someone to love your dog as much as you do, look no further! I would highly recommend Eleni to anyone who asks. I trust her with my pets wholeheartedly and my pets feel the same - they absolutely adore her!”
6. Amy D.
“This was our first pet sitting experience with Amy - she house sat our two pups for 8 days and did an amazing job. Detailed breakdown below: - Communication: We've booked multiple sitters through Rover during various family trips and have a good amount of experience being able to compare several pet sitters. When Amy came to the meet & greet she asked so many detailed questions and took copious notes to ensure she had everything covered. She had a very caring demeanor and our pups liked her right away. Prior to the scheduled pet sitting, we had multiple exchanges over messaging and she was always extremely prompt to respond & provided super thorough responses/details. She was great at communicating during our trip and kept us in the loop on everything going on. She also provided fantastic detailed wrap-up notes to let us know about anything she had observed and things for us to be aware of. We definitely appreciated her communication style as some pet sitters have not always been the most reliable when providing updates or responding to our questions. -During the Stay: We had an incident that occurred with one of our dogs during the booking where our pup ingested something toxic, started throwing up continuously along with shaking. Amy was extremely proactive in reaching out to our main vet multiple times, giving us a full breakdown of the situation with constant updates, reaching out to a second vet on our list for a second opinion, and then taking our dog to animal emergency hospital for treatment & overnight stay. During all this time she constantly kept communication going with us and the emergency clinic. It was a very stressful situation for us as we were out of the country & far away from our where we felt helpless while this was happening. However, Amy did everything in her power to make us feel so much more at ease with how diligently she handled the situation while providing constant monitoring, compassionate care, & attention to our dog during the situation as well as for the remainder of her house sitting that week. Besides, taking care of our pups, Amy also offered and took care of a few things for us including watering our plants, brining in packages, and also proactively doing a load of laundry to wash our towels. She also offered to wash the bedding on the guest bed but we let her know that we appreciated it and didn't want her to do additional extra work. Overall, this was one of the best experiences we have had with a pet sitter. We would definitely book Amy for pet sitting in the future and would highly recommend her! Thank you for taking such great care of our pups! We are grateful for all of your hard work, loving care, take-charge approach in handling an emergency situation, great transparent communication, and true attention to detail! We look forward to working with Amy again in the future. :)”
7. Natassja R.
“The first thing I loved about Natassja was that she is fear-free certified and works at a vet clinic full time. I knew she would be a great fit for my dog, Coop! My boy can be pretty timid but warmed up to Natassja quickly. Natassja herself is very easy going and professional. I HIGHLY suggest booking your next Rover with Natassja — I know I will be 🤗”
8. Donna G.
“Donna was nice and very easy to work with. She was reliable and on time for both the initial meeting and for the stay so we could leave on time. She did a great job and provided some good updates and pictures of the dogs. Thanks for taking good care of them!”
9. Jolynne T.
“Vader really enjoyed his time JoLynne. :-)”
10. Maria K.
“We were on a trip out of country and Maria looked after our 3 dogs and 2 guinea pigs. We had some last-minute unexpected changes that Maria quickly adjusted to. We have a neighbor who does not like dogs which requires some extra attention when the dogs are roaming outside. We did not receive any negative calls! It was a 2 week trip and when we returned, our dogs did not seem stressed. The house was as we left it and the animals all content!”
11. Natasha J.
“Natasha was an amazing dog/house sitter! She left my house spotless and sent the perfect amount of updates. We felt very comfortable with her staying at our house and taking care of our dog!!”
12. Jordan B.
“Jordan is an amazing kind hearted soul who loves animals no matter what species! She is a loving dog mom who will stop at nothing to give her pup the love that it needs. She cares for many of her friends dogs when they are away or when she is with them. She has a big heart for furry friends of all shapes and sizes. It’s a big part of her character and always treats them with nothing bud love and respect. Dogs are attracted to her especially! She’s been around animals her entire life and knows what their needs may be. I know she would be wonderful at caring for other peoples pets as she has always loved on all animals and knows different animals need different needs and is more than ready to do whatever it takes to satisfy each and every one!”
13. Katie U.
“Katie is fantastic with our friendly dog and angry cat! Katie follows our instructions as we have particular pets. I also enjoy that she sends us photos and she lets us know how our babies are doing. She is trustworthy in our home while we are away and I highly recommend her!”
14. Talia M.
“Talia did an amazing job taking care of our elderly dog in our home. She made sure our pet was well cared for and even brought in packages for us while staying overnight. We will absolutely use her again when we travel.”

I personally have two cats and a dog of my own, animals take up the majority of my time during the day whether that’s paying them attention or meeting their needs- I’m quite attentive. Their needs will always be a top priority. I’m fond of frequent walks, playing ball or any other variety of their favorite activity, belly rubs, I’m also knowledged in feedings and medications for varying needs. If there’s anything specific you need don’t hesitate to ask!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 for my neighbors during the summer. Later on, during high school, my family adopted a dog as we planned to train her to be a service dog for my sister. I helped care for Lexi and even taught her some tricks like shake in exchange for belly rubs. I could also help with Pet Transportation and Pet Walking. I'm currently enrolled in college but am free every weekend. I am also available Monday and Friday nights. However, I do not currently own a pet, but I have had to care of my sibling's pets since they were younger and often forgot to do it. I have cared for my sister's dog Lexi and my brother's hermit crabs, and will sometimes take care of my aunt's dogs. I am often good with pets after meeting them. I normally list down important information related to the pets. I also often ask for more detail on how I can accommodate the client's pet.

About: I grew up around a variety of animals. From pigs to cows. Sheep, goats, rabbits, hamsters, dogs, cats, fish, and more. I’ve seen and cared for so many animals growing up with a farm in the country and living in suburbs during school time! I know animals are too good for humans. Therefore I will do anything I can to always care and help animals in need. I can confidently say your animals is in safe hands :) As a college student, tending for my animals is a big responsibility. Feeding and maintaining the happiness of my pets is a great joy in my life. It is just a task that comes with caring for any animals. It is always worth the responsibility. Having two cats in my home allows for me to clean the litter box, provide food daily, take my cats for time outside, and to provide them with endless petting sessions. A clean environment ensures the pets happiness and well being.

19. Desirae J.
“Desirae is a very smart, kind, loving, and very passionate about animals. She is currently enrolled at Ellsworth Community College, studying to become a Veterinarian. Desirae loves spending time with animals. Your pet would be in excellent care with Desirae. Desirae loves to be outside, walking, playing, with your pet would be a bonus for her.”
20. Jenna L.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats; big and small for the past 8 years. I can bath, walk, and feed if requested too. I am a honest pet lover from Chihuahua to Great Dane. I’m working part time at the moment so pet care is open when possible. However soon I might be full time free so times might change. I would be more comfortable taking care of an animal in their comfort zone but if needed I can see if I can house the pet. However I have a husky and cat.
