“This was our first pet sitting experience with Amy - she house sat our two pups for 8 days and did an amazing job. Detailed breakdown below: - Communication: We've booked multiple sitters through Rover during various family trips and have a good amount of experience being able to compare several pet sitters. When Amy came to the meet & greet she asked so many detailed questions and took copious notes to ensure she had everything covered. She had a very caring demeanor and our pups liked her right away. Prior to the scheduled pet sitting, we had multiple exchanges over messaging and she was always extremely prompt to respond & provided super thorough responses/details. She was great at communicating during our trip and kept us in the loop on everything going on. She also provided fantastic detailed wrap-up notes to let us know about anything she had observed and things for us to be aware of. We definitely appreciated her communication style as some pet sitters have not always been the most reliable when providing updates or responding to our questions. -During the Stay: We had an incident that occurred with one of our dogs during the booking where our pup ingested something toxic, started throwing up continuously along with shaking. Amy was extremely proactive in reaching out to our main vet multiple times, giving us a full breakdown of the situation with constant updates, reaching out to a second vet on our list for a second opinion, and then taking our dog to animal emergency hospital for treatment & overnight stay. During all this time she constantly kept communication going with us and the emergency clinic. It was a very stressful situation for us as we were out of the country & far away from our where we felt helpless while this was happening. However, Amy did everything in her power to make us feel so much more at ease with how diligently she handled the situation while providing constant monitoring, compassionate care, & attention to our dog during the situation as well as for the remainder of her house sitting that week. Besides, taking care of our pups, Amy also offered and took care of a few things for us including watering our plants, brining in packages, and also proactively doing a load of laundry to wash our towels. She also offered to wash the bedding on the guest bed but we let her know that we appreciated it and didn't want her to do additional extra work. Overall, this was one of the best experiences we have had with a pet sitter. We would definitely book Amy for pet sitting in the future and would highly recommend her! Thank you for taking such great care of our pups! We are grateful for all of your hard work, loving care, take-charge approach in handling an emergency situation, great transparent communication, and true attention to detail! About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. Neighbors, friends and family have all relied on me to walk, feed and bathe and even style their pets! Not only did I take care of others but I have my very own fur baby that I’ve been taking care of since I was a kid. I’m currently a part-time college student, a dog groomer, content creator and an aspiring entrepreneur to open my own business one day. I love to stay busy and active so your pup will get plenty of energy with me! I love to work out routinely and it’s so much more fun with dogs at my side! I am available all week and weekends just shoot me a text to let me know ahead of time, what’s your schedule, etc. I have a fenced yard and I have a dog of my own to keep your fur baby accompanied! I can crate my dog or yours if needed. I love all dogs as they are my own. It’s in my religion that animals are most sacred, so you can trust your pet is in good hands! About: I’m ready to take care of your fur babies needs. I also am a ball python owner and know how to take care of bps! Please feel free to look at my history! Recent August 2023 - A few hours noticed a neighbor needed my pet watching service. I watch Sophia and Shadow (Labrador’s) so that their owners could go to there nieces dance show! I played with them outside at their house all fenced in area. Lots of pets and made sure to feed them the correct food and portion! May 2023 - watched 4 Dogs each with their own food needs and had to place the bowls in different rooms. Lots of petting and napping together. I let them outside because they were all fenced in. The owners were gone for a week on vacation! April 2023 - Just watched two cats while the owners went on vacationing. I made sure that all their bowls were filled, watered and lots of pets and talked to them. 24+ years old - I’ve always watched my friends dogs and cats. my parents have a collie again (Waylon 100 pounds) and a ragdoll (Wyatt 12 pounds). I babysit them frequently and both trained like a dog, smart, fun, and loving their fur baby life!. Yes, Wyatt sits with hand signal. I’ve always loved to train. 23 years old - I volunteered at a humane society. I was recognized for my work. I walked 18 dogs by myself in the winter at times. I did this for a year and a half. 10 years old - had a collie (Orion) and cat ( Milo). I trained the family dog all kinds of commands and milo would join us for walks. I miss them. I currently work as a freelancer and would like to fill my life with the outdoors and walk your dog! I’m always at the screen and want a second job. I follow instructions if I’m staying at the clients home. Please feel free to type up your perfect sheet of instructions so I may know exactly how to take care of your fur babies.

About: Hi, I’m Kelsey and I’m 25yrs old. I have dog sat before others and my parents. I use to have four dogs at my parents but I bought a house and they stayed with my mom. However, I always go and watch them when my parents are on vacation! I would get my own animal but I am a single mom of 3 girls who keep me busy! I am looking to make extra cash on the side doing something I love though here and there if anyone is interested in services! I am located in Carlisle, Iowa & have pretty flexible hours with whatever you may need ! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats; big and small for the past 8 years. I can bath, walk, and feed if requested too. I am a honest pet lover from Chihuahua to Great Dane. I’m working part time at the moment so pet care is open when possible. However soon I might be full time free so times might change.
