“Wednesday had a great time with Brian's family over Thanksgiving! The house is set up where dogs can be separated if they need a break (without being shut up in a bedroom) and the fenced back yard is huge. I would definitely recommend him.”

“Kate was extremely nice and went out of her way for us. Our trip was last minute and we didn’t know where we were going so it was very chaotic. She was sup with nice despite me being very unorganized and allowed our dog to stay an extra night so the kids could have some extra time at the sledding park that we found. Gryffin had so much fun and I loved the pictures she sent. I highly recommend her and will definitely call her the next time we are going somewhere!!”

“Kim is simply the best. She’s been a sitter for me for years and I trust her wholeheartedly with my pup. I’m always so grateful for her taking the best care and can fully relax knowing my dog is in the absolute best care. Wouldn’t ever hesitate for a second booking with her and again so so thankful for her!”
“Chey took great care of our girl. She had great communication and flexibility. I would highly recommend Cheyto anyone. Will will use her next time we visit the area”

“Our dog, Noddle, is a cherished member of our family; Patricia treated him the same way. From the initial meeting, Patricia's genuine love of and experience with a variety of animals was obvious. Noodle took to her right away. From the photos including walks on the beach and playtime in addition to the messages she regularly sent us, we could tell that he was happy and pampered. We feel completely comfortable and enthusiastic recommending Patricia and will engage her again. She is great. Lucky Noodle. Lucky us.”

“Hailey was great! She watched our 2 yr old Charlie girl while we were in Newport for a night. Charlie loved her dog Henri which helped her settle in. Hailey sent lots of pictures and videos. I would definitely book her again!”

“Jennifer took such good care of our dog Amelia. I was originally very apprehensive about leaving our dog with a sitter for a whole month, but turns out I had nothing to worry about. Jennifer was communicative ahead of time, and let us come by to meet her and see the house. From that meeting it was clear she and her family had a lot of experience and that Amelia would be in good hands. During the stay we got daily updates and the cutest photos. Jennifer’s daughter is a pro too, and also adorable, and gave our dog all the cuddles while we were gone. And when we had an emergency and had to pick Amelia up a couple days later than planned, Jennifer was so gracious and accommodating. We can’t thank Jennifer and her family enough!!”

“We are so happy to have found Sharon! Our dog, Yuna, stayed with her for about a week over the holiday. It was our first time leaving our dog with someone she didn’t know, but Sharon made us feel at ease by sending us pictures and updates every day. She was also so easy to communicate and coordinate with. Yuna had a blast going on walks, playing in the yard, and resting with Sharon. Thank you!”

“Kolby is a fantastic sitter! She watched my dog for 8 nights and I felt so relieved to know that he was in such good hands. Kolby is very communicative as well, sending me daily updates with pictures. Thank you, Kolby!”

“John is a present, focused sitter that I quickly came to trust with my high energy, Raphael. I appreciate him being available at the last minute to take him on during a holiday weekend! He was a great sitter!”

“This is our second time booking with Madison and she is amazing! We were delayed a few hours coming back from our trip and she was really sweet and flexible. Madison sent pictures of our pups each day and she is quick to respond to messages. Definitely booking with her again!”

“Addison did an amazing job watching our long haired mini dachshund Liza over the holidays. She was welcomed into the home and treated like one of the family. Addison gave us regular updates, pays attention to details and is very loving. Liza had the best time and all the snuggles she could want. I would definitely recommend Addison to care for your pets.”

“Melissa took great care of our dog while we were away for a wedding! Easy to communicate with, sent regular pictures and updates, and our pup came home nice and tired from all the fun!”

“Recently relocated back to the area and needed to find a dog sitter for my 8lbs Chi/Terrier mix. Have always had great experiences with Rover.com, but this time we hit the jackpot!! Perfect family to care for my little guy while I get away for a little me time. Knowing he’s well taken care of and loved.”
“Bentley and I just moved to Rhode Island, and it’s been a hard transition for him. I’ve been especially anxious about leaving him during this adjustment period, but Yunshu immediately made me feel at ease. From the start, I knew he was in good hands. She sent so many thoughtful pictures and videos, and in every single one he looked happy, relaxed, and completely comfortable. That meant everything to me. It’s clear she truly cares and takes the time to make dogs feel safe and loved. She was wonderful with Bentley, and I’m so incredibly thankful to have found her. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Newport
Jennifer was a wonderful sitter for Leo! ♥️ Leo is often a little restless his first night away from us, and Jennifer slept with Leo on the couch to calm him down. She was also very responsive and communicative — we appreciated all the updates and photos. We are grateful Jennifer took such good care of Leo so that we could take a trip to visit one of our (human) sons! ☺️☺️

Lillian was incredibly friendly, communicative, and clearly cared deeply about our dog’s well-being. Our dog is older and ended up getting sick while staying with her, and she handled everything exceptionally well. She kept us updated, was attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and properly cared for. That level of responsibility and compassion meant a lot to us. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Theresa took amazing care of our boxer! From the moment we dropped her off, we knew she was in great hands. She went on plenty of walks, got lots of attention, and we received wonderful updates showing all the fun she was having. Theresa is incredibly kind, genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and her responsiveness is outstanding. We always felt completely at ease knowing our pup was safe, happy, and well-loved. Highly recommend Theresa!

We cannot recommend Kolby enough! We dropped the ball on arranging care for our dog, Penny during our wedding weekend. Not only did we need someone to watch Penny, but also needed someone to bring her to our venue, as she was an important part of our wedding ceremony. On very short notice, we found Kolby through Rover, and she exceeded every expectation. From the moment we met her, it was clear how much she loves dogs and makes them feel safe and at home. She went above and beyond to care for Penny, kept us updated with daily photos, and ensured everything went smoothly on our big day. Thanks to Kolby, Penny was happy, cared for, and our wedding went off without a hitch!
