“Grace was wonderful! She was able to take care of my cat on fairly short notice over Christmas. She was even gracious in working with me when I missed our first meet & greet appointment. My cat was well taken care of and Grace shared pictures for the visit. Looking forward to booking with her again.”

About: I am a pet mama, rescue pet lover and have knowledge with any animal issues. I always have my phone on for any emergencies. Cheers Being self-employed allows me to be very flexible with my hours on a daily basis. I grew up with many animals and know they need attention and want to be loved and feel safe. I am willing to feed, play or even brush your pets. I can let them out to run or walk them on a leash that is safe and secure. I feel our furbabies are just as important as our kids.

“Jamie was responsive and nice to the dogs. The house was clean when I got home too. Thank you Jamie!”

“Kelly was great helping take care of our two golden retrievers while we were at an event. She spent an hour with them and also came a few days before for a meet and greet. She was very easy to communicate with and I knew the dogs were in great hands. I highly recommend her!”

“I booked Nikolay to check in with my 2 cats and give one of them meds for a few days while I was away. During the meet and greet I was very happy to see that my cats LOVED him and he seemed very comfortable with them. He did a great job giving my cat his medicine and everything went great! I came home from my trip to 2 happy cats! I definitely recommend him and will definitely book again when I go out of town!”

“Kimberly was fantastic. Not only with my 19.5 year old geriatric cat, but with me as well (a crazy cat lady wanting only the best for my cat). Kim watched our cat for a week over the holidays, providing her with fresh water, food, and affection everyday, and kept our cat's area clean & tidy. This was my first time using Rover, and Kim made the process so easy and enjoyable, answering all my questions. Kim sent us photos everyday, which helped give peace of mind while we were away. She contacted us immediately when our cat stopped eating wet food (it was just my cat being a cat (aka a jerk), and deciding she wanted her food served in a different location) and we quickly problem solved to get her eating again. Both my husband and I cannot recommend Kim enough, especially if you're new to Rover, and feeling a little nervous about leaving your animal while away. We look forward to working with Kim again!!”

“Margaret was wonderful to work with. Our cat has become quite shy in his old age, but Margaret took the time to find his hiding places and give him pets each day. She also kept us updated with photos and fun stories which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We are so appreciative and would absolutely recommend her!”

“Helped us out on very short notice. Took great care of our house and 3 dogs. Thank you, Nina!”

“Olivia is awesome! Our door was stuck shut when she arrived, but she communicated effectively and went above and beyond to make sure our furry friends got the care they needed!!! She rocks!!”

“Thank you Stevie Rae! She was super nice and when we returned home the house looked great. Sent nice photos and spent a little extra time with them when she could.”

“Jessie was very thorough prior to our booking and made sure to come over for a meet and great, which was aporeciated. She took great care of Jamie and respected my wishes to stay for the full time even if my dog was not necessarily looking for a playtime. We look forward to booking with her again!”

“My kitty was quite elderly, with some special needs. So when I had a last-minute need for a drop-in visit, I wanted to be extra sure to find someone very reliable, willing to do meds, and very gentle with the kitty. Emily is all that, and more! I would happily call on her again.”

About: "I stand out as a dog sitter because of my hands-on experience and deep love for animals. As a volunteer at **Best Friends Animal Society**, I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, including puppies needing training and senior dogs requiring extra care. I’m patient, attentive, and dedicated to making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or special care for older dogs, I tailor my approach to each pet’s needs. Your furry friend will be in caring and experienced hands!" As a student at Salve Regina, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting throughout the week, with plenty of availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, overnight care, or extra playtime, I can accommodate a variety of schedules. Ensuring pets feel safe and loved is my top priority. In my home, I create a pet-friendly environment by removing hazards and providing cozy spaces. In clients' homes, I respect their space and follow their routines to keep pets comfortable. Regular updates and open communication help build trust with pet owners. By focusing on these practices, I ensure a secure and nurturing environment for every pet in my care.

“So happy I was able to book with Polina somewhat last minute before Thanksgiving. She was on time, gave me updates with pictures, and most importantly took great care of my elderly cat while I was away. I’ll definitely be booking with her again.”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life, and I've had the privilege of caring for everything from dogs and cats and even rats. Growing up with such a diverse range of pets has given me a deep understanding of their individual needs and personalities. I currently volunteer at an animal shelter, where I work with dogs and cats of all ages and behavior levels. At the shelter, I walk, play, and spend quiet time with the dogs. I also clean kennels, bowls, blankets, and toys to ensure everything is ready and fresh for the dogs. This experience has taught me how to adjust my approach to each dog, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. As a psychology major, I’ve gained insight into animal behavior, which has been incredibly helpful in my role as a volunteer and care taker. I took an animal training course at my university where I worked hands-on with dogs in the shelter, using conditioning techniques we learned how to train dogs in preparation for adoption. This experience has equipped me with skills to train puppies, reinforce positive behaviors, and assist senior pets with their specific needs. What sets me apart as a sitter is my experience and ability to tailor care to each pet's unique needs. Whether it’s using positive reinforcement techniques to help train a young pup or providing gentle, supportive care to a senior pet, I always ensure that each animal receives the attention and understanding they deserve. I love animals and would be thrilled to share that love with your furry friend! As a college student, my schedule is flexible. I only have one class in the early afternoon on Mondays and Wednesdays, so I'm available the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in the afternoon. But I am completely free on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. When I care for pets in your home, I will create a safe and comfortable environment. I will follow your pet’s routine closely to ensure they feel comfortable with me. When taking your dog on walks, I will ensure to follow any specific walking routines or preferences you’ve shared to make sure your dog can get safe exercise. Additionally, with my experience walking dogs in the shelter, I am very mindful of safety precautions when walking dogs. Overall your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priority

“Sydney was great! She checked in on our two huskies while we were away for the day.”

“Laura was great! She was punctual and helped with oral medication for my senior cat. She sent pictures every day and made me feel very comfortable with being away!”

About: Hi! I’m Chase and I’m a vet tech, pet foster, dog owner, and about 3 years ago I adopted a one eyed cat. About a year and a half later, I found out she had idiopathic epilepsy. Through this, I became more interested in pets with unique medical needs and began volunteering with and fostering those animals. Through my vet tech position, I’ve gained confidence in my ability to care for different animals and, while also being a senior biology major, I’ve become to go-to girl for questions my family and friends have about their pets. I’ve loved animals from day 1 and can’t wait to meet more :) I’m currently taking classes and working part time, but have plenty of time in my schedule to spend with your dogs & cats! My general schedule is below, but feel free to reach out with any other times you may need! To go through my average week: Monday/Wednesday: before noon Tuesday/Thursday : after 2 Friday/Saturday/Sunday: usually all day! Walks: I’m always open to walks and potty breaks with any dogs! My house: Without my own yard dogs will have to be either inside or leashed, but anyone’s welcome! Your house: I’m happy to spend time with your pets, and I can crate your dog if you wish. Always up to have strict instructions or wing it :)

19. Chase P.
“I have known Chase Perry for 4 years now and she is a very responsible and regimented person. She has adopted a cat, named Lola, from the Potter League who she has cared for now for the past 2 years. She has also fostered 3 other cats from the same shelter as these cats needed more attention for medical reasons. She also has a Golden Retriever, named Maisey, at home that she cares for. She grooms her, takes her to the beach, goes for car rides with her and is an overall loving dog momma. As long as I have known Chase, I have always known her to be a lover of all animals. I know she has worked with marine animals too and caring for them before they are released back into the wild. I know Chase is also a Vet Tech back at home and has cared for many other fur babies. She has also personally babysat my three frenchies when I have to go out of town. I would highly recommend Chase and say she is qualified for this.”
