“Cheyauna exceeded expectations! She was so communicative, she handled my 5 yr old and my puppy with extreme care and specific to their needs, and she even went above and beyond to come before the trip to meet and play with them for comfort. Anything that we asked she did that and more. Now that we have used Cheyauna we honestly couldn’t imagine going with anyone else in the future. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!”

“We needed help last minute and Victoria showed up within 2 hours. She was extremely helpful and communicative. She was really good with our pup. Definitely would hire her again!”

About: I was the owner of a German Shepherd for two years and I’ve taken care of my friends pets. Both cats and dogs for many years. I prefer to visit the client's home because it reduces a lot of anxiety for the animal. Your pet being in their own space will guarantee they are more comfortable, and you will not have to pack food and toys. I like to keep my dog entertained, fed, and happy!! I take him on long walks in our neighborhood and provide him with lots of chew toys to keep him occupied. I generally try to observe other dog’s personality and approach them lots of love and encouragement
“Erika was so helpful when we were in a pinch with our dog, Billie. She came to the apartment to meet her beforehand and was so loving to our very nervous dog. I would absolutely recommend Erika and will definitely be booking her again!!”

“Iris was awesome to work with! She is very detail oriented in letting you know what is going on with your fur babies. She sent several messages and pictures throughout the day to keep me in the loop. I would definitely recommend booking with Iris!”

About: I have owned dogs, cats, and even reptiles for most of my life so I understand how difficult it can be to find someone reliable and trustworthy to babysit or just walk my fur babies. Life is always busy, so I joined rover to help my fellow owners. I work part time, so my schedule is a little different each week but I will work with u as much as I can. Fridays and Saturdays I cannot work throughout the summer. I have an automatic feeder for my own cat at home always making sure she’s fed and also a water fountain so she always has access to water. My dog always has water available and had a scheduled feed and outside time

About: I have cared for cats and all sizes of dogs since I was young. I’ve been my neighbors’ go to for pet sitting and I enjoy every opportunity I get to spend with a new furry friend! I am a full time college student, however, my schedule is extremely flexible. I will always make your fur babies a priority and I can’t wait to meet them! “I was looking for some help with a very elderly kitty ~ so he really needs someone who can be very gentle with him, and at the same time very competent. Jessi is absolutely both. I would definitely call her again! Also, I had to search at the very last moment, which turned out to be no problem!”

Stevie-Rae did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away. I felt 100% confident that they were well taken care of. She sent pictures each day to show that they warmed up to her even though they are very, very shy around people they don’t know. I highly recommend her to you.

Mackenzie was absolutely amazing! Took such great care of our 2 kitties plus my son’s cat who was staying with us! She was punctual, responsive and sent us updates and pictures! We will absolutely use her again and highly recommend her for all your pet sitting needs! Thank you so much Mackenzie 🐾

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
