About: I have pet sit cats, dogs, and rabbits, as well as dogwalked since I was 12 years old (2016). I have owned both a kitten before as well as a puppy and now own an adult dog who I helped to crate and potty train. I have housesat for dogs and cats multiple times in my own home as well as theirs for up to weeks in a row. I love animals more than anything on the planet and would love the opportunity for your pet to be cared for by somebody who will shower them with love. I currently only work 2 hour shifts twice a week so I am at home most of the time and usually all day on weekends. I am a senior at Salve Regina University so I do have class, but am not usually gone for more than 2.5 hours at a time. I have a pet-safe apartment and am home most of the time for potty breaks, feeding, walks, and overall engagement. They are allowed on all furniture and I treat them as if they are my own. I will also respect your rules if we are in your home and will try and make them feel as comfortable as possible in their normal environment.

“~Hello, my name is Elizabeth and this is my story. I am an all white, American Short Hair Cat. I tend to be very shy and I like gentle, quiet people. Most people think I'm pretty, but you'd have to be the judge of that. My human mother (who I love dearly), is a bit over-protective (And that's putting it mildly.) I think "neurotic" would be a better word to describe her. She had a lot of anxiety about going on vacation and leaving me with a Cat Nanny. And I mean a LOT of anxiety. She was even driving my Dad crazy. Little did we know that things were about to change... when Kimberly came into our lives. Immediately we could tell she was a warm, kind person who genuinely loves animals. ~Kimberly took care of me and stayed overnight at my house. She fed me, gave me my meds and made sure my water bowls were clean and full. She took care of my litter box and kept it nice and clean, just the way I like it. She cuddled me and combed me the whole time. Boy, did I feel the love ! We also had a great time posing for all those photos we sent to Mom and Dad during the weekend. We even brought the mail in. ~But best of all, it was so nice having company at my house. When I woke up in the morning, Kimberly was there to give me my breakfast. And that's not an easy task because I have to eat very slowly due to my sensitive stomach. (Believe me, you don't want to see a cat lose her breakfast. It's not pretty.) But Kimberly was very patient and took good care of me. Ok, so I really need to apologize for getting her up, way too early in the morning, (Sorry Kimberly), but we did go back to sleep for a while. ~Now I don't want to hurt my Mom's feelings (I kind of missed her a little while she was away) but I sure had a lot of fun with Kimberly ! It was a great "Girls Weekend." And I just can't wait to see her again. In fact, both Mom and Dad were so delighted with Kimberly, that they are now planning their next vacation; a winter CRUISE. And the BEST PART?...I get to be with my new best friend, Kimberly. Bon Voyage, Mom and Dad! Have a great time !”

I am a senior at Salve Regina University so I do have class, but am not usually gone for more than 2.5 hours at a time. I have a pet-safe apartment and am home most of the time for potty breaks, feeding, walks, and overall engagement. They are allowed on all furniture and I treat them as if they are my own. I will also respect your rules if we are in your home and will try and make them feel as comfortable as possible in their normal environment.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs, cats and horses. I had my own dogs, Trooper for 16 years and Rusty for 14 years. I have cared for friend's dogs and my grand dogs for 1 day to 1 month. I have experience with older dogs as well as puppies. I will maintain schedules as well as training and discipline. I will treat them as my own with lots of love and affection, knowing they my miss their parents. I work from home so fitting pet care into my schedule is not an issue.
