“Shauna and Nixley took wonderful day care of Moby for several days while we were visiting RI on vacation (and staying at a dog friendly hotel). They were incredibly flexible with drop off and pick up as our plans changed daily and Moby trotted into the house happily with them every morning. Lots of pics of Moby lounging on the sofa with them, and/or hanging out with another pup they were sitting, reassured us that he was happy and comfortable while the rest of the family got some much needed down time together. We hope to see them again while we're visiting the region next summer! Thank you:)”

“I can’t say enough good things about Sue! She was so incredibly accommodating and patient with my dog. My dog, Sadie, was uncharacteristically anxious and scared on our vacation. She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. Sue gave Sadie so much love and attention the whole time I was at the aquarium. I was able to have a good time, knowing my dog was in good hands. Sue kept me updated on Sadie’s progress with texts, pictures and videos. I am so very grateful and would recommend Sue to anyone seeking a great pet sitter!”

I enjoy helping families with their fur babies as I settle into being a stay at home mom! Depending on the baby’s schedule, sometimes my husband does the visits for me or we all go together with the baby in a carrier— let me know in advance if you have any issues. About: My husband and I love dogs! We both work from home and love the extra company. We own 2 small dogs and 2 cats (who always stay downstairs). We live in a deeply wooded area so there is lots of area for a dog to play without the worry of traffic nearby. We do have an outdoor kennel if needed. Finally, we go to the dog park just about every day that is 1/2 mile from our house. We have watched 100s of dogs of all kinds as a foster rescue provider. We both work from home and are available at all hours. The only time we really go out is to take dogs for a hike. We have a spaciousness and open floor home. We have experience with all personality's and take their safety very seriously. We always leash dogs that we dont know because we want them to be safe.

“Lourdes “Luli” was a stellar and responsive caretaker of my 8 mo, high-energy Australian Shepherd puppy. I was a bit nervous to be her first Rover client, but felt immediate comfort on the meet and greet. She and her delightful, well-behaved pup, Tito, were exemplary hosts. She took all my concerns in stride and made sure that my puppy had a safe, enriching and engaging experience. She sent lots of photos documenting his play and nap time with his new buddy. Luli was flexible about the drop off when my schedule unexpectedly changed and was always quick to return texts. My dog came back happy and relaxed and literally pulled me to her doorway each day of our stay. Her home was immaculate and puppy safe, with a small secure, enclosed yard for play. I have nothing but the highest regard for Luli, and her professionalism and warmth towards both me and my dog! She clearly is a dog whisperer and my dog, very attached to us, but eager to be left with Luli, confirms this. I have no reservations about emphatically recommending her!”

About: I’ve had my own cats and dogs for about 30+ years and have even fostered dogs in GA, in the past. I have always had larger breed dogs, and currently have my cane corso, Stella, whom I’ve trained entirely myself. I had a bull mastiff, Grunt, from the time my brother passed away in 2015, until Grunt went to heaven to join him again in June of 2023. And even before Grunt, I had another cane corso, Roxy, and before her were mostly pitties. It’s very easy for me to be an amazing pack leader as I am a natural born leader and fall into the roll with ease. I believe in finding a way to communicate with our animals by paying close attention to their queues that they give. And when I say that I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t love, I mean it! Spending my time with them, is something I consider a blessing and an honor, and I truly treat every one like they are my own. I have owned a cleaning company for the last 5 years and I have had a few clients ask me to care for their pets. I decided that since my favorite part of some of my cleaning jobs was playing with people’s pets, that I’d rather transition to doing that full time instead! I can’t physically clean houses forever, but I’ll always be able to love on pets! My schedule is extremely flexible because I have and run my own business At my home, I have a very large, fenced in, yard with camera coverage both inside and outdoors. And as I’ve had my cleaning business for over 5 years, I have lots of people who trust me with their homes and their pets. Many clients have told me just how good it makes them feel knowing that they can truly, trust, and rely on me. I treat every job as tho it’s my own home or pet, and I’m great under pressure. If something happens, I am a problem solver.

About: I have loved and cared for all kinds of animals since I was young. Having every animal from cats to dogs, birds and guinea pigs, hamsters, snakes, lizards, turtles, and birds! I have experience training dogs as well as training service dogs. I can care for animals from birth to their senior years. I can safely bathe animals, feed, administer medication, and give souch love to them! I have a very flexible routine that allows me to accommodate the needs of many pet parents! I can make adjustments as needed and am happy to spend time with your loved four legged friend! I keep a clean, safe space for the animals I visit with. Unless otherwise noted, I keep a variety of treats and toys on hand and keep a large gravity water bowl available at all times.
