“Thank you! You put Pete's mind at ease. He's just beginning to travel again and the cats are like his children. His anxiety was gone and he loved that Ellen was patient and understood that they both do not come out for most folks. It can make it boring for the human. Lol. So thank you for being kind and understanding! Appreciate you.”

“Irem does a great job. This is the second time she has taken care of my cats. It’s nice to know that they are in good hands while I’m away and she always leaves things tidy.”

“Isaac was great and communicated well! We had a last minute outing to see some family and didn’t want to leave Jolie for 8 hours. Isaac kept her great company and sent lots of pictures so we knew she was happy while we were out!”

About: I’ve owned pets ever since I was able to and grew up with dogs and cats. I started walking neighbors dogs when I was 10, and have never stopped. Since having a family we raised 1 yellow lab - trained and and nurtured him in his elder years. We have since rescued a Shepard mix and a black lab. I help my friend care for area pets when she has overflow in her own pet care business. I’ve been an elementary teacher for 33 years- 20 years at a school for the deaf, so I do know sign language. I have summers off and am available during the school year as well. I would visit and play with your pet while you are away, as I know how I feel when we travel and need to leave our dogs behind.

About: For the past ten years, I’ve dedicated myself to providing professional, high-quality pet care, specifically focusing on dog walking/sitting. Over the last decade, I haven’t just walked dogs—I’ve managed schedules, built deep trust with clients, and mastered the art of understanding animal behavior and safety. Whether navigating the logistics of running a busy daily schedule or ensuring that every dog in my care receives personalized attention and exercise, I treat the responsibility with the highest level of professionalism. Ten years in this industry has taught me incredible time management, adaptability, and how to deliver exceptional, reliable service that keeps clients coming back Im my own boss! I work my own hours and will schedule according to YOUR needs!! Early mornings, mid day or late nights… whatever works for you! Animals will be kept at close distance and leashed. I have my own transportation (if needed). When I am with the pet my attention is completely focused on them!

About: I started out helping friends and colleagues with their pets, and it quickly grew into caring for high-profile families/individuals who need someone they can trust. I know your time is valuable and your privacy maybe is non-negotiable. I am here to provide a seamless, stress-free experience for your dog, ensuring they get the exercise and care they need while you’re busy with your day. Why clients choose me: • Total Discretion: I have years of experience working with high-profile households. I value your privacy and maintain a low-profile, professional presence at all times if needed. • Reliable & Hands-On: You are getting one-on-one attention from someone who understands the demands of a busy lifestyle. Whether you are just running errands for the day, need some “you time”, family event or stuck at the office late - I am available to bring peace of mind so you know your dog(s) is taken care of. Your dog(s) will never be around any other dogs as your time is solely YOUR time. • Experience: I have worked with puppies, senior dogs, dogs with special diets, dogs needing medication & even dogs that tend to be dog-aggressive. I am focused on providing the best possible care for your dog. I’m happy to chat about how I can make your daily routine easier and ensure your pet is always in great hands. Because I work fully remotely, I have the kind of flexibility that most pet care providers don’t. While others are juggling multiple clients and strict appointment windows, I am able to provide a much more consistent, reliable presence for your pet with the proper communication. Since I am not tied to a traditional office or a rigid 9-to-5, I am able to: • Provide True Flexibility: I don’t have to rush through visits. If your dog needs extra time to warm up, a longer walk, or a mid-day play session, I have the time to make that happen. • Offer Peace of Mind: Being remote means I am always nearby. Last minute client at work? Deciding to go-to happy hour with some friends? I am just a text message away. *I do have 2 days a week where I have work meetings I need to attend so scheduling may need to work around that if services are needed during those times.” Since I believe dogs thrive in their own environment, I do not bring any dogs to my place of residence, If I am at a clients home, I set-up complimentary meet & greets prior to any service being provided so we can all get to know eachother & you are comfortable with me being in your home & around your pups
About: I've owned dogs, big and small, since I was 8 years old and can't imagine a life without a furry friend by my side. While my 4 year old mini bernedoodle, Winnie, currently receives all my love and care, I'm itching to share that same level of attention with other pups far and wide! (NOTE: Winnie does not accompany me on house sitting bookings unless explicitly requested by the owner, as she prefers to hang home with her other pet-parent) I am extremely detail oriented, responsible, and have a flexible work from home schedule so I'm happy to drop by/sit just about anytime. I've handled dogs of all temperaments and am able to tailor my care to make them feel most at ease. I am personally a very active person and have no problem providing ample exercise for the dogs I look after, but I am equally as excited to lounge around with those who prefer belly rubs over running :) Pet parents will be sure to receive a minimum of 2x daily updates as well as plenty of sweet photos of their fur-baby when in my care. I work from home and have flexible hours, therefore I can adjust my schedule to accommodate your pet's needs. I love going for long walks as exercise, so being able to bring along a furry friend is always a bonus :) I am an extremely vigilant caretaker and treat every pup I care for like they are my own. Making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable is my number one priority.
“Grace is phenomenal!! She took amazing care of my dog Belle and is super responsible! Update pictures and videos throughout the day and always arrived on time for feedings and walks. I'm so happy with my first experience using Rover. I'm so happy Belle was looked after with such great care!”

About: I have always been the designated dog sitter and walker for my family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers from friends of friends! I have years of experience with dog walking, boarding, and sitting. I also now have my own puppy at home (named Harley) so I am only able to accept pets that are puppy friendly! Please feel free to message me anytime to discuss more! I work from home and will be able to care for your dog at all times! I can be super flexible with potty breaks, drop off and pickup times, etc. I’m here to help you! I have a one year old cockapoo so I am only able to accept pets that are pup-friendly at this time - thank you for understanding! I live in an apartment complex that welcomes dogs! There is a dog park here if your pet enjoys socialization (no worries if not). I am very attentive and can be there for your dog whether they need a potty break, new water, play time, etc.
“Tyler is such a wonderful person, he's very patient and kind towards the dogs! Rescues can surprise you with new reactions, Tyler showed compassion and love and eventually the problem child learned to trust him. I will recommend Tyler to anyone who is looking for that extra help! Thank you!”
“First time I have used a pet sitter for my 2 pups, I had Lidia come over for 2 drop in visits while I was away for Thanksgiving day. She followed the instructions I left to the tee and kept me updated on how Dante and Preston were doing. I could not be happier with the job she did and will book her again when needed.”

During our walk I can assure you that my time and attention would be directed to your pup, so it can enjoy our time together as much as I will.
“Valeria was amazing with my dogs. She was able to gain Lola's trust (my pit rescue) , many sitters have not been able to get her to warm up to them. But, Lola gets super excited when she sees her. And she was extremly patient with my 14 year old shih tzu as well. Look forward to work with Val for future sitting.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Montville
Mark was a lifesaver! He stepped in on very short notice to care for Jack, even though they’d never met before. He took great care of her, handled her meals and walks, kept me updated with photos, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Mark again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

Nicole has been great dropping in on our two dogs while we’re at work! They love her & we appreciate her updates after the quick visits on how everything went. She’s been accommodating & easy to work with. We happily rebook with her when we need a drop in visit.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
