“Mark was fantastic! I could tell right from the start that he was going to try his darnedest to get my shy Moira to connect on his visits - when he instantly started to practice the high-pitched voice I use which Moira best responds to on our initial visit lol! Right out of the gate I think he was able to find her under the bed and engage with Churu! While she didn't allow contact every single day - I have no doubt that he tried and he even succeeded on several. I definitely felt safe having Mark taking care of my shy lil' girl.”

“Brian went above and beyond to take care of our senior pup while we were away. He kept in contact with Luna's anxious mommy (me) all weekend with updates and double checks. Because Luna needs some extra help, Brian made sure that she was able to take care of all things - Luna was a happy girl when we got home, no doubt due to being well taken care of!”

“Joe was great with our dog Nala! We had him come by for a drop-in and he kept Nala engaged, gave her plenty of playtime and cuddles, made sure she had fresh water and a snack. Looking forward to booking with him again soon!”

“We truly appreciated the thoughtful nature of Mary Ann and the care with which she approached our scaredy cats. She arrived on time, took care of the cats and kept us updated along the way. She took the initiative to spent some quiet time with them allowing the cats to trust her and get pets while we were away. She has a very calming personality, she is respectful of cats and understands that pet parents can be anxious leaving their babies home alone. She sent us multiple pictures at each visits and appropriately provided updates. This allowed us to be at ease knowing our cats were well cared for by Mary Ann. I highly appreciate Mary Ann and would love to work with her in the future.”

“Erica is amazing! She really does treat your pet as if it were her own. She follows instructions and is always attention to every little detail. I would definitely recommend her. If I could give her 100 out of 100 stars I would!”

About: I started out helping friends and colleagues with their pets, and it quickly grew into caring for high-profile families/individuals who need someone they can trust. I know your time is valuable and your privacy maybe is non-negotiable. I am here to provide a seamless, stress-free experience for your dog, ensuring they get the exercise and care they need while you’re busy with your day. Why clients choose me: • Total Discretion: I have years of experience working with high-profile households. I value your privacy and maintain a low-profile, professional presence at all times if needed. • Reliable & Hands-On: You are getting one-on-one attention from someone who understands the demands of a busy lifestyle. Whether you are just running errands for the day, need some “you time”, family event or stuck at the office late - I am available to bring peace of mind so you know your dog(s) is taken care of. Your dog(s) will never be around any other dogs as your time is solely YOUR time. • Experience: I have worked with puppies, senior dogs, dogs with special diets, dogs needing medication & even dogs that tend to be dog-aggressive. I am focused on providing the best possible care for your dog. I’m happy to chat about how I can make your daily routine easier and ensure your pet is always in great hands. Because I work fully remotely, I have the kind of flexibility that most pet care providers don’t. While others are juggling multiple clients and strict appointment windows, I am able to provide a much more consistent, reliable presence for your pet with the proper communication. Since I am not tied to a traditional office or a rigid 9-to-5, I am able to: • Provide True Flexibility: I don’t have to rush through visits. If your dog needs extra time to warm up, a longer walk, or a mid-day play session, I have the time to make that happen. • Offer Peace of Mind: Being remote means I am always nearby. Last minute client at work? Deciding to go-to happy hour with some friends? I am just a text message away. *I do have 2 days a week where I have work meetings I need to attend so scheduling may need to work around that if services are needed during those times.” Since I believe dogs thrive in their own environment, I do not bring any dogs to my place of residence, If I am at a clients home, I set-up complimentary meet & greets prior to any service being provided so we can all get to know eachother & you are comfortable with me being in your home & around your pups
“Nabria was amazing. She was supper communicative, she was so sweet and took great care of my dog.she didn't need much instruction, she knew what to do and did it well. We had a great vacation and ease of mind 💜”

“Kimberly was a life saver. She quickly filled in when my original sitter fell through during my 3-week work trip. She sent photos and was extremely communicative. Couldn’t ask for a better sitter for my cat while I was traveling. Would definitely use her again.”

About: I live at home with my parents in a small 3 bedroom ranch home. Our property is about half an acre, but is not fenced in. There’s a dog park not far that is a safe place to take them to burn some energy. I have two of my own dogs who are wholly a part of our family and we treat them like any other family member. I have an undergraduate degree that provided me with a lot of exposure to animals of all sizes and breeds. Between these two facts, I am happy to make new four-legged friends and take the time to learn how they best thrive in the time we have with them on this earth. I currently have a full-time office job in West Caldwell, NJ. I work until 5pm during the week, and typically available by 5:30pm during the week. Weekends are fairly open for lots of playtime with your furry family! I have two very friendly dogs at home that we treat like any other family member. I will do my best to show that same respect to your pets and maintain your pet’s normal routine while you are away.

I’m currently living in Wayne, NJ and am available in nearby areas. I have a flexible schedule and would love to help however I can—dog walking, drop-in visits, or just giving your pet some extra love and attention. Thank you for considering me! I can’t wait to meet your sweet pet! 💛 Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for pets—whether it’s for daily walks, drop-in visits, feeding, or playtime. I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active, so dog walking fits perfectly into my routine. I also make sure to give each pet attention, affection, and care based on their individual needs. Pet care isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely love and enjoy being part of every day. I take care of the pet as the client needs it, the main thing is with love and respect, I give the food, the outings and I am aware of them

“Danielle was amazing. She made my cat feel really comfortable and let him take his own time to come to meet her. She had good communication about any issues. Overall she took great care of him and would book her again :)”

“Cne has been my dog sitter and groomer for the past 11 years. She is also my neighbor and I’ve known her and her family for over 20 years. The entire family are animal lovers and totally dedicated pet parents. Cne is a natural with animals and my dogs love her! She is punctual, responsible, trustworthy and loving. I can relax without a worry when I’m away and Cne keeps me updated with messages and pictures so I can see how my dogs are doing. It makes my day to see how happy they are. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
