“First Impressions Boarding my dog, Lilly, with someone outside the family for the first time made me a little nervous. My granddaughter, who had used Rover before, helped me submit the application and choose a sitter. Even on the way to drop Lilly off, I still felt apprehensive, but that quickly changed when Teresa gave us such a warm welcome and Lilly and I were greeted by Teresa’s three friendly dogs. Although Lilly seemed a bit overwhelmed at first, she soon relaxed after playing in Teresa’s large backyard, and I felt comfortable leaving her there. Updates During Her Stay Teresa reassured me that Lilly would be well cared for and promised to keep me updated. She followed through by sending photos and notes about how Lilly was sleeping, eating, and taking her medicine, which I really appreciated. Pickup and Overall Experience When I picked Lilly up, Teresa told me what a joy she had been to care for. She said Lilly was very sweet, that her daughter had fallen in love with her, and even one of her dogs had taken a liking to her. Teresa also said Lilly would be welcome back anytime. I left feeling grateful for the care Lilly received and would happily trust Teresa with her again.”

“I picked up my dog Copper, later last night, after a week’s stay with Desi and Marilyn. I’m not going to lie…I was a little worried about leaving our boy with “strangers”, but when I met D&M, they made me feel at ease after doing our meet and greet. They have a great setup at their house, inside and out, for daytime and overnight “guests”. Desi assured me he was not worried about how any of them would get along and he would introduce Copper slowly. Well, Desi certainly knows what he’s doing (he IS the pack leader) and within a couple of days, Copper was outside playing and running with all of his new doggy friends. They sent videos and/or pictures almost daily, without me asking, and I knew I could msg them right in the app with any concerns. Desi and Marilyn are the real deal. You can tell that this is not just a job for them, but a passion. They are set up and experienced to take on many dogs and still show individual care to each one. When we picked Copper up tonight, he was happy and healthy. What a relief it is to know that I now have a place to bring my dog if/when we decide to go out of town or are helping my ailing mom. If you are looking for a experienced, knowledgeable, safe, fun environment for your doggy, I would not hesitate for a second to bring your fur baby to Desi and Marilyn. I love every part of taking care of animals whether its grooming, bathing oral medications administration etc… Animals will always hold a special place in my heart. About: I have experience with both dogs and cats. I lived with my cousin and her dog for some time so her dog became my adopted dog. I am quite clean when it comes to animals, so wiping of the paws after entering from the outdoors is on a list of to-do's for me. They do after all, sleep in our beds and walk on our couches. I also do not like ingredients like wheat and filler, so I always make sure to have any/all treats or foods with ingredients that will elongate the life rather than cut it short. About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 5 yrs old, owning cats, dogs, birds, fish, a python, guinea pig, and a blue poison dart frog. I went to ranch camp in Nebraska to ride and take care of horses. For sitting, I've looked after dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, lizards, and rabbits. I've worked overnight at a kennel for a year which included walking dogs, playing with cats, feeding, and cleaning up: blood, vomit, urine, and stool. I worked at a Veterinary hospital for 8 years. I am NOT a Vet, but I am comfortable with medicating pets, post surgery care, seniors and pets with disabilities. I've saved field mice, chipmunks, squirrels, raccoons, salamanders, and bees. During the spring and summer, I house and nourish caterpillars until they turn into butterflies. Then they are released into the wild. I am available during the week, weekends, and holidays, and would be more than happy to accommodate your schedule. Occasionally, I have my own appointments or family events, but will work with you to avoid any scheduling conflicts. I believe that trust, love, compassion, transparency and common sense are all required in animal care. Both you and your fur baby should be comfortable and trust your sitter. If time allows, I prefer meet and greets to ensure a proper fit. If a pet isn't comfortable with a sitter while their parents are around, they most likely won't be comfortable while their parents are away. I believe it is important to acknowledge and understand your pet's body language and needs. A pet is not just an animal, it's your family, and should be treated as such with care and respect. I will comply with your feeding/relief/medication schedule, because it's important to keep your baby on their own routine to avoid confusion, stress, and bowel issues. I currently have a male senior cat who enjoys being an only child, so I am unable to care for other pets at my house, but am happy to take care of your munchkins in your own beautiful home.

“First Impressions Boarding my dog, Lilly, with someone outside the family for the first time made me a little nervous. My granddaughter, who had used Rover before, helped me submit the application and choose a sitter. Even on the way to drop Lilly off, I still felt apprehensive, but that quickly changed when Teresa gave us such a warm welcome and Lilly and I were greeted by Teresa’s three friendly dogs. Although Lilly seemed a bit overwhelmed at first, she soon relaxed after playing in Teresa’s large backyard, and I felt comfortable leaving her there. Updates During Her Stay Teresa reassured me that Lilly would be well cared for and promised to keep me updated. She followed through by sending photos and notes about how Lilly was sleeping, eating, and taking her medicine, which I really appreciated. Pickup and Overall Experience When I picked Lilly up, Teresa told me what a joy she had been to care for. She said Lilly was very sweet, that her daughter had fallen in love with her, and even one of her dogs had taken a liking to her. Teresa also said Lilly would be welcome back anytime. I left feeling grateful for the care Lilly received and would happily trust Teresa with her again.”
“Tricia was absolutely wonderful with our pup, Lani! This was our first time booking with her, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She clearly has excellent knowledge when it comes to dog introductions and made sure Lani felt comfortable from the start. Her yard is fantastic, spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed with a shaded sand pit and a dig zone that Lani loved exploring. We also really appreciated the photo updates throughout the stay! When our flight was unexpectedly canceled, Tricia was incredibly accommodating, even on such short notice. That flexibility meant so much to us. We’re so grateful for her care and would definitely book with her again!”
“I picked up my dog Copper, later last night, after a week’s stay with Desi and Marilyn. I’m not going to lie…I was a little worried about leaving our boy with “strangers”, but when I met D&M, they made me feel at ease after doing our meet and greet. They have a great setup at their house, inside and out, for daytime and overnight “guests”. Desi assured me he was not worried about how any of them would get along and he would introduce Copper slowly. Well, Desi certainly knows what he’s doing (he IS the pack leader) and within a couple of days, Copper was outside playing and running with all of his new doggy friends. They sent videos and/or pictures almost daily, without me asking, and I knew I could msg them right in the app with any concerns. Desi and Marilyn are the real deal. You can tell that this is not just a job for them, but a passion. They are set up and experienced to take on many dogs and still show individual care to each one. When we picked Copper up tonight, he was happy and healthy. What a relief it is to know that I now have a place to bring my dog if/when we decide to go out of town or are helping my ailing mom. If you are looking for a experienced, knowledgeable, safe, fun environment for your doggy, I would not hesitate for a second to bring your fur baby to Desi and Marilyn. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!!”

“Elizabeth and Oleg were everything we looked for and found for our dog, Ralph. When we search for somebody to leave him with, that person must have a fenced in yard and be fine to take him on a walk or two each day. It’s what he’s used to now and it’s what we feel most comfortable with when leaving him for an extended period of time. Elizabeth and Oleg provided both of these AND plenty of photos along the way to let us know that Ralph was enjoying his stay. 10/10 would recommend them if you’re looking for somebody to watch your furry friend.”
