“Charlene is a reliable, caring, and experienced pet sitter. She was punctual for our meet-and-greet, took the time to get to know our Yorkie, Kody, and made us feel comfortable. She communicated clearly throughout the visit, and everything went smoothly. It was clear that Kody was in wonderful hands and well cared for. Charlene will definitely be my go-to sitter in the future. I highly recommend herself !”

“I cannot recommend Donna enough. I was extremely anxious leaving my 2 cats for a week but Donna kept my mind at ease and I didn't have to worry for a second. She took so many pictures, sent updates twice a day, and gave lots of pets and love to my boys. I will 100% book again in the future. Thank you so much for being so amazing Donna, you made my vacation so much more enjoyable and stress free 💜”

“Sarah was great with my two cats! Made sure they were well fed, had a clean litter box and fresh water, and gave them plenty of attention while I was away for the holidays. I felt much better about leaving them for the week knowing Sarah would be by to check on them.”

“Awesome care and what a piece of mind while away :) Thanks a ton for taking care of hero. Julianne is professional by work and dog lover by heart , highly recommended for pet services .”

“Mark was fantastic! I could tell right from the start that he was going to try his darnedest to get my shy Moira to connect on his visits - when he instantly started to practice the high-pitched voice I use which Moira best responds to on our initial visit lol! Right out of the gate I think he was able to find her under the bed and engage with Churu! While she didn't allow contact every single day - I have no doubt that he tried and he even succeeded on several. I definitely felt safe having Mark taking care of my shy lil' girl.”

About: We share our home with a sweet 3-year-old Old English Sheepdog, who is friendly, playful, and great with other dogs. She enjoys the company of all the pups that become family while they’re here. We look forward to welcoming yours, too. 🐾 Pet care fits easily into my routine since I primarily work from home, with occasional site visits . We take daily walks and get plenty pets and playtime! While I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs are always supervised and taken out on leashed walks. I recommend bringing your dog’s toys, bed and/or crate to help them feel secure, comfortable, and at home in a familiar environment.
“I have too many adjectives to describe Colleen. She was extremely trustworthy, communicative, accommodating, caring, thoughtful, kind, responsible and prepared. I always stress when I go away and leave my girls but Colleen alleviated that feeling almost entirely. She even stayed longer than needed the first night. I am very happy with how my girls were treated and will definitely pick Colleen as my sitter next time.”

Your pets will be fed, walked, and checked on at their exact scheduled times .Overnight Consistency: For house-sitting clients, I maintain a reliable presence in your home, aligning my routine with your pet’s natural sleep and wake cycles. Mark checked in on our 16yo cat while we were away for a week and did a great job! She's on medication now, and he handled it without any issues. He was flexible with timing, easy to communicate with, and sent lots of adorable photos that made being away much less stressful. We'll definitely book him again!

We have been using Nicole for some time now & I already left a review before, but wanted to come back and reiterate how great she is after using her services for a while. Our pups love her and we always feel so comfortable allowing her to care for them. She is communicative and provides great updates, even just for quick drop-ins. We’re grateful to have found Nicole!!

Jonathan took care of my 10 cats for a few days while we were on a trip. He did a great job and was able to administer injections to my diabetic cat which was wonderful. He kept me thoroughly updated on my cats which gave me peace of mind while I was away from them. I would definitely book him again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
