Respectful Interaction: I let shy or independent cats set the pace, never forcing interaction or causing stress. I most commonly schedule extended stays with my current clientele, but daily visits/ stays are certainly services I provide. My pet sitting experience dates back to my college years, but I've acquired a more consistent clientele list over the past 5-6 years. I can accommodate specialty dietary needs and administer medications. It is important to prioritize enrichment, such as walks and playtime, to keep your pet happy. I have a vehicle equipped for safe travel, in the event that a vet appointment is scheduled. I currently do not bring pets into my home. I've found that most animals, especially anxious or high-need animals, tend to thrive best in their own homes. I can maintain their regular routines while surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells they are familiar with. I do free consultations to meet all clients and pets in order to get acquainted with their personalities and routines.

About: I've owned dogs, big and small, since I was 8 years old and can't imagine a life without a furry friend by my side. While my 4 year old mini bernedoodle, Winnie, currently receives all my love and care, I'm itching to share that same level of attention with other pups far and wide! (NOTE: Winnie does not accompany me on house sitting bookings unless explicitly requested by the owner, as she prefers to hang home with her other pet-parent) I am extremely detail oriented, responsible, and have a flexible work from home schedule so I'm happy to drop by/sit just about anytime. I've handled dogs of all temperaments and am able to tailor my care to make them feel most at ease. I am personally a very active person and have no problem providing ample exercise for the dogs I look after, but I am equally as excited to lounge around with those who prefer belly rubs over running :) Pet parents will be sure to receive a minimum of 2x daily updates as well as plenty of sweet photos of their fur-baby when in my care. I work from home and have flexible hours, therefore I can adjust my schedule to accommodate your pet's needs. I love going for long walks as exercise, so being able to bring along a furry friend is always a bonus :) I am an extremely vigilant caretaker and treat every pup I care for like they are my own. I also volunteer at St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, where I socialize with dogs and cats, take dogs on walks, play with them, and help with their overall care. I’m an active person, so longer walks and hikes are always a pleasure, especially for energetic dogs! I’m also happy to handle the less glamorous parts of pet care. If your pet has an accident inside the house, I have no problem cleaning it up and making sure everything is left clean and comfortable. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets with patience, care, and lots of attention while you’re away. I work a hybrid schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care throughout the week. I’m available for morning, midday, afternoon, and evening visits, depending on the day and your pet’s needs. On weekends, I’m available throughout the day and can easily accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and longer visits. Safety is always my priority. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks and make sure they’re secure and comfortable at all times. Depending on your preferences and your dog’s routine, I can supervise them in the backyard, take them for walks around the neighborhood, or bring them to a dog park for some exercise and playtime. About: I’ve owned pets ever since I was able to and grew up with dogs and cats. I started walking neighbors dogs when I was 10, and have never stopped. Since having a family we raised 1 yellow lab - trained and and nurtured him in his elder years. We have since rescued a Shepard mix and a black lab. I help my friend care for area pets when she has overflow in her own pet care business. I’ve been an elementary teacher for 33 years- 20 years at a school for the deaf, so I do know sign language. I have summers off and am available during the school year as well. I would visit and play with your pet while you are away, as I know how I feel when we travel and need to leave our dogs behind.

My sister is the owner of Barkadelphia in Philadelphia and my experience working with her has provided me the general skill and desire to fulfill my life with fur friends and keep your pets in good hands I am a small business owner as I own growth fitness studio in Rockaway, NJ. My days are schedule based so I have tons of availability I currently live in an apartment with my fiancé with more than enough room for multiple pets. We have a pretty large, very safe apartment complex. As well as several parks around the neighborhood and very safe streets for walks.
