About: Hello dog lovers! Thank you for checking out my profile. My name is Courtney and I am excited about potentially working with you. For starters, I have always have the opportunity to be surrounded by four-legged friends in my life since I was a young kid. I believe growing up with a dog is 100% attributed to my passion and ability to work with many types of dogs. With personal experience owning dogs and working for a professional dog-walking company in the past, I am committed to providing love and attention to YOUR dog. I believe dogs are a part of the family, not just a pet! I will take care and play with your dog and treat your home as if they were my own. Additionally, I am punctual, hard-working, and honest. I hope to work with you soon!
“Tyler is such a wonderful person, he's very patient and kind towards the dogs! Rescues can surprise you with new reactions, Tyler showed compassion and love and eventually the problem child learned to trust him. I will recommend Tyler to anyone who is looking for that extra help! Thank you!”
About: As a dog mom myself, I truly understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur baby with someone else. What sets me apart is the way I treat every dog like my own—with patience, love, and attention to the little things that make them feel safe and happy. I have experience with different breeds and temperaments, and I’m especially good with shy or anxious pups who need extra TLC. I’m currently a student and off for the summer, which means I have a super flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the care and attention they deserve. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m around and fully committed. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, loving, and safe environment. I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special instructions—so they feel secure and at home. I give lots of attention, cuddles (if they enjoy that!), and keep their space clean and stress-free.
About: I’ve owned pets ever since I was able to and grew up with dogs and cats. I started walking neighbors dogs when I was 10, and have never stopped. Since having a family we raised 1 yellow lab - trained and and nurtured him in his elder years. We have since rescued a Shepard mix and a black lab. I help my friend care for area pets when she has overflow in her own pet care business. I’ve been an elementary teacher for 33 years- 20 years at a school for the deaf, so I do know sign language. I have summers off and am available during the school year as well. I would visit and play with your pet while you are away, as I know how I feel when we travel and need to leave our dogs behind.
“Jillian is awesome! My dog would get super excited to see her for their time together and was always calm and relaxed when we saw him later in the day. Will definitely continue booking through the summer!”

“Valeria was amazing with my dogs. She was able to gain Lola's trust (my pit rescue) , many sitters have not been able to get her to warm up to them. But, Lola gets super excited when she sees her. And she was extremly patient with my 14 year old shih tzu as well. Look forward to work with Val for future sitting.”

About: I've owned dogs, big and small, since I was 8 years old and can't imagine a life without a furry friend by my side. While my 4 year old mini bernedoodle, Winnie, currently receives all my love and care, I'm itching to share that same level of attention with other pups far and wide! (NOTE: Winnie does not accompany me on house sitting bookings unless explicitly requested by the owner, as she prefers to hang home with her other pet-parent) I am extremely detail oriented, responsible, and have a flexible work from home schedule so I'm happy to drop by/sit just about anytime. I've handled dogs of all temperaments and am able to tailor my care to make them feel most at ease. I am personally a very active person and have no problem providing ample exercise for the dogs I look after, but I am equally as excited to lounge around with those who prefer belly rubs over running :) Pet parents will be sure to receive a minimum of 2x daily updates as well as plenty of sweet photos of their fur-baby when in my care. I work from home and have flexible hours, therefore I can adjust my schedule to accommodate your pet's needs. I love going for long walks as exercise, so being able to bring along a furry friend is always a bonus :) I am an extremely vigilant caretaker and treat every pup I care for like they are my own. Making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable is my number one priority.

My schedule will slightly change when Fall rolls around! I love to go for a walks so any distance is no problem for me! I can go anytime and any amount of walks is good for me! “Thank you! You put Pete's mind at ease. He's just beginning to travel again and the cats are like his children. His anxiety was gone and he loved that Ellen was patient and understood that they both do not come out for most folks. It can make it boring for the human. Lol. So thank you for being kind and understanding! Appreciate you.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
