“Jonathan was flexible, responsive and easy to work with. He sent photos/video of our dog having lots of time outside, along with some reports on how he was doing. Our dog came home and seemed relaxed and not overly stressed.”

“We were very nervous about leaving our older, medicine-requiring dog at a boarding home, but Louis made us feel at ease — both before we started the stay as well as throughout our dog’s boarding— we received regular updates and photos which comforted us greatly. Louis clearly loves dogs and provides a wonderful environment for them. I have no reservations in using him again and I would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone else who seeks a loving home for their dog while they are away.”
“Thank you Jillian and Andrew for taking care of our 8 month old puppy overnight! It was his first time sleeping out of our apartment, and we are happy that you were so flexible and caring. We loved receiving pictures of him while we were gone!”

“Chelsea was great with our 8 month old pup! He played well with her dog and she kept us updating with pictures throughout the night. Highly recommended Chelsea for anyone looking to dog sitting services.”

“Bobbi is the greatest person you will ever meet. I have lost count of how many times I have booked her. Every time it is an amazing experience. I’m sure my cat, Sherri, is looking forward to seeing her again when I go away for the 4th of July holiday weekend that’s coming up. A+! 5 Stars!”

“Brain was very easy to work with. Meet and Greet was super easy and the actual boarding was super smooth. Max seems to have had a great time with Brian. I would highly recommend Brian.”

“Carol and her family took exceptional care of our little guy Max. They loved him as if he was part of their own family. We were able to enjoy our vacation and not worry about Max knowing he was in their loving hands. Carol will be our first call anytime we need someone to watch him!”

“Amy was EXCELLENT with our golden doodle Abby while we were away. Super responsive before and during her stay and easy to communicate with. Also very flexible with scheduling and pickup/drop off times. We fully trusted Amy and her family while we were on vacation and knew she was in good care. Amy sent tons of photos and has a fully fenced in yard which Abby loved. Definitely recommend her and look forward to booking with her again soon!”
“Amanda and Max took such wonderful care of our dog! From the start, Amanda was incredibly responsive and flexible, which made the whole process so easy. While we were away, she sent lots of photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that our dog was having a great time and was being well cared for. We’re so grateful to have found them and would highly recommend Amanda and Max to anyone looking for a reliable and caring place for their dog!”

“Pia’s stay with Charles was great. He is an awesome person who truly loves the pets he cares for. He shared pictures time to time keeping us informed of Pia’s well being. I am grateful to have met Charles and highly recommend him. We are definitely returning next time Pia needs a break from us 😊”

“This was our trial run overnight stay for a longer stay we have coming up. Chris lives in a lovely area with a nice little fenced yard for the dogs to play and do their business. He has a cute smaller female mixed breed of his own. Our Finley over other dogs and had good playtime with her. I like that Chris only takes one doggie client at a time so that I know Finley will get the attention and care that he needs. Based on our successful overnight I am going to book Chris for our long trip. I don’t like making recommendations after only one overnight but I am confident that I will be doing just that after his next stay.”

“Darien and her family took amazing care of my pup and we are so grateful. We will absolutely be back! She worked with me for a pre meet and greet for myself and my pup. She got my dog to be more comfortable with her food and her surroundings in a new place with ease.”

“Rhea and Michael were absolutely the best! My dog Frankie is 11 years old, he doesn’t like being around a lot of other dogs, he was very comfortable spending the week with Rhea and Michael while we were in the Bahamas. Rhea sent a lot of pictures and I could see how happy he was! They took great care of him and kept me updated! I will definitely be using them again!”

“Yuberkis is an amazing sitter! My dog Louis has been under her care several times and we have had a great experience each time. Yuberkis is very kind and responsive during your pets stay. I always have peace of mind leaving Louis because I know he is in good hands!”

“Siram and Rekha are a blessings to my family. Caliber my Golden Doddle is my whole world and the minute I met Siram and Rekha we bonded and I feel comfortable I was leaving Caliber in the best care and his 2nd home. Caliber gets along well with Milo. As long as they would have Caliber when I need a second home Siram and Rekha is my only option. Thank you both.”

“This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t be happier with how it went! Manuel took such great care of my dog, Shadow. He’s usually a little moody after staying at boarding facilities, but this time he came home happy, calm, and clearly well-loved. It was such a relief knowing he was being cared for in a home environment, and Manuel made the whole process easy and stress-free. I got updates, photos, and could tell Shadow was getting plenty of attention and even some good dog socializing. I’ll definitely be booking with Manuel again — highly recommend”

“My Sweet girl had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend Maisha, she’s best in class. Extremely responsive and stay in touch with you every step of the way. This was my second booking we have a lifetime to go. Thank you for your wonderful service!”

“Audrey is great! She not only took my last minute request but also was wonderful with my dog. She sent me updates and pictures and Lola was more than happy -and this is means a lot because she’s always nervous around new people. I’d totally recommend her!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Hiawatha
Charles was absolutely wonderful with our precious Ruby! We thought we wouldn't be able to board her as she broke her toe bone just two days before she was scheduled to board, but Charles assured us that he was experienced in injuries and administering medication. He even put up a crate (Ruby's safe space) and created a separate area for her so that she would have a quiet place to rest from the other dogs. In addition, he was able to put Ruby at ease during the meet and greet (Ruby is nervous around strangers), and was able to build a rapport with her at the first meeting, which was a huge step and relief for us. Charles kept us updated with photos to assure us that Ruby was doing well. When we picked Ruby up after two nights with Charles, we could tell that she had a good time and had been well taken care of. We can't thank Charles enough for his help!

Jonathan was great with both of our dogs. He had great communication, sent us pictures and videos of the girls. He was also accommodating when our flight was canceled and we had to book an extra 2 days with him. We would definitely re-book with him in the future!

Dhurti took wonderful care of Oreo! She had great communication throughout the entire stay and sent lots of pictures and updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Oreo looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We really appreciated her kindness and would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Charles took great care of our 6-months old Goldendoodle, Maxie, during 5 days boarding. He was very responsive and made us feel comfortable leaving our puppy for the 1st time. When we picked him up, Maxie was happy, it was clear he had been very well taken care for. In fact, Maxie seemed so comfortable that he did not want to leave. We would absolutely use Charles again. Thank you!

This is the third time that Charina and Sunny have watched our dog Max and I cannot say enough about how wonderful they are. I trust them fully to not only take great care of him, but also to diligently give him his meds and address his health. Their home is a perfect place for dogs and the pictures that Charina takes and sends to us are helpful and really nice! Thx so much!

We had such a great experience using Ruyi. She was kind, pleasant, and always stayed in contact with us. She sent me multiple pictures and updates throughout my dog’s stay and even had a video call with be before hand to show me exactly where my dogs would be. I will definitely be bringing my dogs back to stay with her!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
