About: I’ve been around cats and dogs my whole life, and I’m comfortable caring for animals of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I grew up with cats and was lucky enough to have a litter born in my room, so I’ve been around them from the very beginning. I also grew up with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from playful high-energy dogs to older dogs who need a gentler pace and a little more support. I’m especially patient with animals that are shy, skittish, cautious, or slow to warm up. I know not every cat or dog wants to be approached the same way, and I try to meet them on their terms, earn their trust, and make the interaction feel safe and positive. Whether that means a walk, playtime, quiet companionship, or giving them space, I want your pet to feel comfortable with me. When I take care of an animal, I treat them like they’re my own. I’m attentive with feeding, water, litter boxes, walks, routines, house instructions, and updates. My goal is simple: for you to feel confident while you’re away, and for your pet to get care, attention, and comfort from our time together. I currently have flexible availability and can work with different pet-care needs, including walks, drop-in visits, cat care, and in-home pet sitting. I’m available for weekdays, weekends, and overnights depending on the request, and I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. I do not offer boarding in my home at this time. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I care for pets in their own home and follow the owner’s instructions closely. I pay attention to feeding routines, fresh water, litter boxes, doors, locks, leash safety, and keeping pets secure and comfortable. I’ll also provide updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I've loved dogs since I was a kid! My first dog was a Chow Chow when I was five years old, and I adored him until the day he passed. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes with much joy to me. Friends and family often count on me to walk, feed, and spend time with their pets, and I genuinely love every second of it. I treat every pet with patience, affection, and the same care I’d want for my own. I am currently working part time as a Behavioral Aide for toddlers on the autism spectrum. Afternoon and evenings are open for me and I am avaliable for dog walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits during this slot. I will offer the best possible care for your pet during our walks and/or visits. I do not offer boarding in my home as my arrangements do not allow it but I am open to house sitting and providing your dog and feline friends what they need according to what you know is best for them!

About: I am my mother's fourth child (I grew up with three golden retrievers). Two of the goldens still go to the beach everyday at ages 15 and 16 (they still live with my mother). I've been swimming, walking, playing, washing, cooking for, feeding, cleaning up after, chauffeuring and generally chilling with dogs almost everyday for 15 years. I'm accustomed to medication regimens and mindful of safe play, especially for elderly and disabled dogs. I'm also very comfortable with large and extra-large dogs. My childhood friends include a Newfoundland and St. Bernard. I have experience pet sitting in clients homes in the Bay but am new to Rover. I just started a sabattical from lawyering. Happy to be your dog's lawyer though (this is not legal advertising). I am on a work sabattical, so I am happy to tailor my schedule to you and your dog's needs. Please provide me with advance notice of your schedule whenever possible. I prefer to care for your dog in their home so that they are the most comfortable. Otherwise I would prefer that your dog and I establish a few walks or activities before boarding at my place, so that they feel safe and comfortable with me.

About: My personal approach to dog care is grounded in genuine care for their well being. Working with my clients I provide prompt communication to ensure your dog is safe, happy, and healthy! Growing up my family had a beautiful 30lb dog that I helped care for from a puppy to old age. Being a part of this process has shown me how to support dogs in each stage of life from rambunctious puppies (structure, training and enrichment) to easing the aging process (special diet, new steps to climb onto the couch, shorter walks etc). Depending on the activity needs of your pup, I’m happy to provide daily walks or short runs (1-3 miles). I'm currently taking a gap year so I have plenty of time for your pups! I'm available weekdays and, with advance planning, can provide housesitting through weekends as well. I live in a single family home with three dogs. However, our family dogs like their space, and it is not available for dog boarding.

“Deborah is AMAZING! We went out of town for 4th of July weekend, and were so worried about leaving our dog, Ella, during a chance of fireworks. Deborah came over a week before the trip to meet Ella and myself and touch base with me about some basic needs for her. Over the weekend, Deborah showed up on time, took amazing care of Ella, and kept me updated frequently with pictures and texts. She took Ella on many walks, played with her, and kept her secure and comfortable during some fireworks in our neighborhood. Deborah extended so much love and care over our girl, and we couldn't be more grateful! About: I’ve owned pets all my life. I had a dearly loved dog that I saw through from puppyhood all the way to thirteen years old when she passed from cancer. I’ve had two cats since they were kittens, one of which had hyperthyroidism which required daily treatments. He has since passed away from kidney failure at seventeen. As a team with my sister, we personally trained our dog — and even the cats — using books to learn how to bond with the animals. I’ve not had a conventional job working with animals, but I am my friends’ go-to for pet sitting. I’ve done extended stay pet sitting (ten+ days) involving overnight care. I’ve handled daily medications for cats and dogs and worked on leash training for a friend’s dog as well as house training puppies. I currently live with an elderly cat and three freshwater aquariums. I’m available most days of the week and on weekends. I’m a freelance artist and my work is easy to time manage around. I always clean up after a pet and make sure they have easy access to water at all times. I know how to keep dogs inside a fenced area and keep inside cats from running out the door.

About: I have been an avid animal lover since I was a child. I would collect frogs, salamanders, and snakes then bring them home to show [scare] my family then safely return them to their homes. Beginning from the age of 6 or 7 I began riding horses. I was devoted to horseback riding for years which taught me a number of valuable skills on how to care for animals. In addition, to having multiple family pets including a rat and dogs', I had my own dog [Nala]. I loved, cared for, and nursed Nala through kidney disease which required administering scheduled medications and subcutaneous fluids. After recently loosing Nala, while I am not yet ready to get another pet, I would love to look after yours! Thank you for considering me to take care of your family member. I recently graduated with my master's in healthcare administration. I've been on a job hunt for a couple of months, and I have plenty of spare time. I decided to join Rover to take advantage of my love for animals and my free time by pet sitting! I have a flexible schedule with a minimal advanced notice. I have an enclosed yard and one 7-year-old friendly female husky who lives here. Depending on your pet's personality, preferences, and stay details your family member can stay here, or I will stay with them in your home.

I’m currently on summer break from college, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your dog. My Lab is very high energy and requires a lot of exercise and attention. She also has a skin condition that requires regular baths and extra care, so I’m used to handling dogs with specific needs and routines. I enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that’s going for walks, playing with them, or just keeping them company. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will treat your dog like one of my own. I’m responsible, dependable, and committed to making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I’m currently on summer break from college, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the attention they need. I have a high-energy Labrador at home who requires daily exercise, playtime, and regular care for her skin condition, including frequent baths and monitoring. Because of that, I’m used to planning my days around feeding schedules, walks, medication routines, and making sure pets get plenty of attention and exercise. Caring for animals is something I do every day, not just occasionally. I treat every pet like they’re my own and try to keep them on the routine they’re used to. In my client’s home, I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, take dogs on walks, give plenty of playtime and attention, and can administer medications if needed. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure while the owner is away. In my own home, pets receive constant supervision, regular potty breaks, exercise, and lots of interaction throughout the day. Since I have experience caring for my own high-energy Labrador with a skin condition, I’m comfortable handling pets that require extra attention, special care routines, or medications.
