About: I've had dogs my whole life ranging from a 105 pound Lab to a 9 pound Chihuahua. Family friends and acquaintances have relied on me time and time again to house sit and watch their dogs/cats. As a college student, I like to keep a structured schedule, making it easy to incorporate your pet's care into my daily routine. I have set blocks of time in the mornings, between classes, and in the evenings that I dedicate to feeding, walks, and check-ins. On weekends and lighter class days, I’m able to spend extra time on longer walks, playtime, or sitting stays. I stay organized and plan ahead, so pets always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I prefer caring for pets in their own home because it keeps them comfortable, relaxed, and in a familiar routine. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely—feeding according to their schedule, refreshing water, providing potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special care they need.

“Vicky provided great service to our two birds and our two fish tanks. I know Rover is more tailored for dogs/cats but Vicky was great to adapt and take care our pets. I plan on using her for our next trips.”

About: I’m very caring, gentle, and naturally nurturing, especially when it comes to animals. I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel loved, safe, and comfortable with me. I’m patient with shy pets, playful with energetic ones, and extra gentle with senior pets that need calm care and attention. I pay close attention to routines, feeding times, walks, and making sure pets feel happy while their owners are away. I also love giving updates and cute pictures because I know how important pets are to their families

“Craig was so sweet with my nervous and reactive shepherd .My shepherd has a tendency to run away and bark when he meets any new people, but Craig was able to accommodate him and was able to walk and play with him ! Highly recommend and I will be using him for the future.”

About: Your cat’s comfort is my priority. I offer reliable, detail-oriented care that keeps your kitty feeling safe while you’re away. I’m especially patient with shy or anxious cats and always move at their pace. From maintaining a clean space to providing enrichment and gentle interaction, I make sure every visit is stress-free. You’ll receive consistent updates and cute photos every time ✨

About: I’ve been around cats my whole life and understand that each one has their own personality, boundaries, and pace. Some cats want attention right away, some need time to observe from a distance, and some only warm up once they realize they are not being rushed. I’m comfortable caring for playful cats, shy cats, older cats, and cats who need a calmer approach. I can help with feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, companionship, and check-ins while keeping their routine as familiar as possible. My goal is to earn their trust, keep them comfortable, and make sure they feel cared for while you’re away.
About: Dogs have had a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. Unable to have pets at home as a kid, I sought out opportunities to play with and care for dogs at a young age. Since then, I've... -had my own pets (yayyy!) -volunteered as a puppy foster mom -run large-scale fundraiser events for dog lovers + their dogs, benefiting local shelters -pet sit for 20+ years! (both in my home as well as the pet's home) I am truly comfortable and content with all dogs, from playful puppies and selective seniors, to doggos livin' large. I am happy to reinforce basic training and leash commands you are working on at home. I reward pawsitive behavior through affection, affirmation, and...treats!!! (where applicable of course - not for dogs on diets) :) Along with my 20+ years of experience in pet and house sitting, I have 10+ years of experience as a professional nanny and 2+ years of experience as a personal chef. I know how to treat others' homes, and loved ones, with respect, loving care, and confidentiality. I currently work from home, with flexibility to take breaks and walks throughout the day. I like to go on walks and hikes, and I’m happy to bring your dog along for the adventure if applicable. Health, safety, and happiness of your dog is my top priority. I want your doggie to live their best life while I am with them, and that means lots of love and adventuring (depending on your pup). If your dog is on the shy and/or anxious side, I provide space for them to come to me when the time is right. In an emergency, remaining calm, following procedure, and staying in good communication with you stays top of mind.

About: I have cared for a dog my whole life. I am a mom to a beautiful fur baby Lola, she is now 7 years old and truly a gift to my life. She absolutely loves meeting new dogs and playing! She is submissive when need be and never aggressive and I believe she gives me something extra to provide. If you choose for your dogs to stay with me they will not only get 24hr attention, many walks and have access to outside anytime but also they get to meet a new friend, my Lola. I take the opportunity of someone trusting me with their pet very seriously and assure you that with me your pet will be safe, comfortable and loved.Thank you for your consideration. Lola and I hope to meet you soon! I currently work from home and am blessed to make my own schedule so there should never be any interference. Your pet will always have my undivided attention. When your pet is under my care they will be treated as family! Safety is very important to me! I want my clients to always feel comfortable and confident in my ability to care for their loved ones :)

“Marie was so great with Winston! I could tell he immediately felt comfortable and safe with her! She also sent many updates so I knew how he was doing. I definitely will bring him back, thank you again Marie!”

“Winnie and Boba are THE BEST!!! 🏆 Winnie accommodated a last-minute request over Thanksgiving weekend so my husband and I could take a day trip. She even offered a meet-and-greet video call beforehand, which really put my mind at ease since it was our second time using Rover for dog sitting. 🙏 Throughout our communications, Winnie was friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. My doggo had a blast playing with Boba, and she sent us plenty of photos and videos showing how much fun they were having together. 🦮🐕🦺 When we picked him up, my dog was clearly sad to leave - always a good sign! 🥹🥲😭🫶 We're already looking forward to our next booking. Highly recommend Winnie and Boba, especially if you have a smaller breed that likes to run and play. ✨”

About: I am a physically active recent retiree and capable dog lover who recently lost my beloved Wheaten Terrier after 11 great years with him, so I'm well able to care for your very active or senior dog that might have special dietary or physical needs. I'm recently retired and home every day, so I have lots of time to care for your pet. Drop-off and pick-up very flexible every day and evening. Although we have a securely fenced and paved back yard, it contains a swimming pool, so we kept our own pet indoors or on our fenced in, covered deck/patio which is also secure. We have a large dog crate which our dog slept in every night, but this is flexible depending on your own dog's sleeping preferences. I do not let pets sleep on my bed. We live on a very quiet street with no 'through' traffic, so it's easy to walk your dog regularly without risking encounters with other pets. Our own dog was not comfortable around other dogs and this was easy for us to manage.

“Kate was an absolutely wonderful sitter! She picked Ginger her up from my house on my moving day, and took such good care of her at her house. Ginger and Lola had a total blast playing together and going on walks! I see lots more play dates in our future. Kate even brushed Gingers hair, so she was extra soft and fluffy when I picked her up ?”
About: I’ve taken care of domestic animals since I was very young. Animals have always been part of my life, and I truly enjoy caring for them, pets are part of our daily routine. My daily routine already includes caring for dogs. I run a small mobile dog grooming business, so I am used to being around pets every day. I’m also used to taking care of animals since I was young, so feeding, walking, playing, and giving attention to pets fits very naturally into my routine. I live in an apartment, but my complex has a dog park and very dog-friendly spaces. Pets will always receive attention, supervision, and a calm environment. I make sure they are safe, comfortable, and follow the routine provided by the owner, including feeding, walks, playtime, and rest.
“It was my first time using Howard & Linda for day care, and it was an excellent experience. Howard and their dog Truman met us for the meet and greet before the scheduled stay, and the dogs got along, as Truman is very easy going. My dog is not friendly with large dogs and requires a special diet, as well as, a regular feeding and walking schedule. Howard accommodated all of my dog’s needs during his stays. Howard & Linda are very friendly and personable people, and I highly recommend them!”

“We had a nice meet and greet, and Shao asked good questions about our dogs and their habits. Pick up and drop off were very easy and we got lots of pictures of our dogs enjoying their stay!”

“Genuine people in this world are truly rare treasure! We rescued Rocco from the SPCA and quickly realized he could not be left at home alone while we went to work. I found out about this app a few days later and downloaded it. We were SO nervous leaving Rocco with new people after we just got him, but at the meet and greet Rocco warmed up to Gordon and Allison quickly. My partner are I felt so reassured that Rocco would be safe and cared about. Gordon and Allison are truly the most kind human beings my partner and I have met in a really long time. We were so grateful to find them. They will absolutely take the care of your dog. They took the BEST pictures of Rocco during the day too! My work schedule changed and we no longer need their services. Give them a try, we absolutely loved them and you and your pup will too! 🐾❤️”

“Cynthia and her family were the best. Very accommodating and easy to communicate with. She sent us multiple pictures and videos throughout the day which made me feel at ease. I was so happy to see that Amaru had fun and enjoyed his stay. Will definitely book with Cynthia again and am so happy to find a new dog sitter for Amaru close to home. Thank you so much for everything!!”

“Irene loves dogs so much and is so attentive to dogs’ needs! She is so patient with dogs like mine that can be a little needy or a bit troublesome at times. She’s a great choice for watching all kinds of dogs but especially ones that need just a little bit more attention.”

About: We are an animal-loving household! When I am with your pup, they have my full attention and we spend our time playing and going for walks. If your dog is up for it, I love taking them on longer walks on paved trails or hikes. However, I do not visit dog parks unless you specifically request it. I pride myself on building a strong bond with every dog so that I can quickly notice any signs of illness or discomfort. To ensure your pup receives total attention and love, I only host one dog at a time. Pet sitting is not a business for us; my husband and I are retired empty-nesters who simply miss the companionship of a pet. Because we love to travel, we choose not to own a dog of our own right now. On a typical day, I take your pup out 3 to 4 times: 20-30 minutes in the morning, 1–2 hours in the afternoon (depending on their energy level), and another 20-30 minutes before bedtime. If your dog prefers shorter strolls, we will take multiple brief walks instead. For playtime, we love playing tug-of-war on the deck or keep-away in our safely fenced backyard. My husband and I are active, retired empty nesters who love the companionship of pets. We walk frequently and enjoy having a fur baby join us on our adventures. When your pet stays with us, they become part of the family—we take them everywhere and never leave them home alone. If you have a preferred pet sling or carrier, please bring it along. If not, we can use ours, which is cleaned after each use. We have a large, fully fenced backyard with a clean deck and patio where I can play with your pup. The yard consists of concrete and decking, alongside dedicated areas for plants and flowers—completely weed-free! Your pet is also welcome to roam freely around our house and relax on the furniture.
“I feel completely at ease leaving my fur baby with her, knowing Mochi will be cared for with love and attention. —Mochi adores her, and it’s clear Shirley treats her like one of her own.”

About: Virtually 24/7 availability! I work from home and can provide care and attention for almost all day long. I have had dogs for about 20 years as well as lots of foster/rescue experience. I work from home so I can care for your pet as needed! Your dog can have run of the house - I allow dogs on furniture and even let them sleep in our bed if that's what they are used to. I have a fenced backyard and a small, friendly, neutered Pomeranian mix to keep your dog company! I am in a single adult home with no children.

“Lehna has been a great resource for the care of my two staffies. I have booked her several times already for walks and drop ins. She responds very quickly to requests, has strong communication skills and she updates me with details about how my dogs behaved with her. She has been professional and responsible and I can easily recommend her.”

“Alyssa was on time and very communicative. my two pups were very happy when I got home. She walked for an hour and brought them back safely. I will definitely be using her services again.”

About: I grew up with multiple cats and really loved them. I took very good care of them. When I became an adult, I cared for my dog. Unfortunately, as she aged, she got really sick and I lovingly cared for her until her passing. I then had another dog, who was my life before children. I currently live in an apartment that does not allow pets, even though I desperately want to have them. Until my situation changes, I would love to help take care of your pets when you are unavailable. I'm currently able to work from home 3 days per week. My schedule is flexible, as far as which days I need to be in the office. I can help you take care of your pets when you are not available to do so. I am very respectful of people's homes/property. Although, I am not allowed pets at my apartment, I would enjoy helping you take care of your pets in the comfort of their own home.
“Ivan just started walking my dogs. He has been great, he came for a meet and greet and both of my dogs liked him immediately. He has been on time and his communication has been great. I have weekly walks booked with him already. Thanks Ivan!”

“We are so grateful Matisse was available to walk Hutch over the holidays! Thanks for being responsive and sharing pics and tracks for the walks. Looks like Hutch had a great time!”

“Esmeralda is wonderful with our golden retriever! She is calm, attentive, and engaging, gets in sync with his personality, and lets him enjoy being outside for an adventure, read the daily doggie news or just hang out listening to music. She is a professional when it comes to her canine care so we are confident when we leave our pup with her. Thank you Esmi!! 😁”

I also love keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages so you always know your furry baby is safe, loved, and in good hands. Taking care of pets fits easily into my daily routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I love going on walks, playing, giving belly rubs and cuddles, and making sure every pet feels happy, safe, and loved. Caring for them never feels like work—it’s something I genuinely look forward to every day! I care for every pet like they’re part of my own family. I love getting to know their unique personalities and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s going for walks, playing with their favorite toys, giving cuddles, sticking to their feeding routine, or just keeping them company, I’m happy to do whatever helps them feel at home. I also love sending photos and little updates so you can relax knowing your furry friend is happy and in good hands.

“Craig was fantastic! He met our pup Hutch ahead of our scheduled walks and tailored to them to Hutch’s activity level with some great hikes on Montara mountain. Craig is super easy going and responsive. We hope Hutch gets the opportunity to walk with Craig again soon!”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs of every kind in my life. I have had two dogs that I’ve owned, from a Puggle (medium/small dog) to a current large/medium dog (Paco). Family and friends have trusted me to walk their dogs as well as house-sit for them with their furry friend. I am a recent college graduate in search of a full-time job, so my schedule is very flexible at the moment! I have been dog walking as well as housesitting for a few furry friends since my graduation and would love to help out in any way I can through Rover! I am available to dog walk and dog sit (in your place of residence), but I cannot provide my own home for the dog sitting since I have a dog that does not like another furry friend in his space. I love all other animals as well as dogs, so if there is other accommodations for other animals, I can be of assistance for them.

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs my whole life, and I’m comfortable caring for animals of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I grew up with cats and was lucky enough to have a litter born in my room, so I’ve been around them from the very beginning. I also grew up with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from playful high-energy dogs to older dogs who need a gentler pace and a little more support. I’m especially patient with animals that are shy, skittish, cautious, or slow to warm up. I know not every cat or dog wants to be approached the same way, and I try to meet them on their terms, earn their trust, and make the interaction feel safe and positive. Whether that means a walk, playtime, quiet companionship, or giving them space, I want your pet to feel comfortable with me. When I take care of an animal, I treat them like they’re my own. I’m attentive with feeding, water, litter boxes, walks, routines, house instructions, and updates. My goal is simple: for you to feel confident while you’re away, and for your pet to get care, attention, and comfort from our time together. I currently have flexible availability and can work with different pet-care needs, including walks, drop-in visits, cat care, and in-home pet sitting. I’m available for weekdays, weekends, and overnights depending on the request, and I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. I do not offer boarding in my home at this time. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I care for pets in their own home and follow the owner’s instructions closely. I pay attention to feeding routines, fresh water, litter boxes, doors, locks, leash safety, and keeping pets secure and comfortable. I’ll also provide updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

“Katie and Jason are great dogsitters (and super friendly humans in general)! They took great care of our pup Kiwi, who can be anxious and slow to warm up to people, and they understood that Kiwi needs to go at her own pace. Upon handoff, they immediately took her for a quick walk around the block which helped ease the transition, and by that evening, Kiwi was comfortable and asking for pets. Katie and Jason are quick to respond and kept us updated with both many adorable photos and brief recaps of walks or fun things that happened in the home. They accommodated our late pickup time with no fuss and had everything prepared: the bowls were washed and dried, and the blanket was folded. Highly recommend these two! Kiwi would love to stay with them again. Thanks Katie and Jason!”

“Sage loved her stay with Natalie! We so appreciated her care, pictures and videos while we were away. Sage looked happy, spoiled and well taken care of, we couldn’t be happier and love that we’ve found a great human for when we can’t bring Sage with us on trips ❤️”

“Wei took very good care of our pup! We had to board him for a week and she shared updates, photos and videos while we were away. She administered medication for his apparent allergies and we got him back in very good shape. She has a nice and big backyard and I could tell how happy our dog was digging around it :) Would definitely board with her again!”

“Zhengting and her husband are amazing caretakers. We had excellent communication during my pup’s entire stay with constant updates. Lucy got lots of walks and playtime. Would definitely recommend and book with Zhengting again!”
“Jillian was great with Lucy! Lucy can be a bit anxious and Jillian make her feel super welcome and kept us updated during our trip with photos. We’d definitely have Lucy stay with Jillian again in the future!”

“I’m so glad that I found Irene! The care and communication she provides gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She provided frequent photos and updates of how my doggo was doing. When I came to pick up Ollie, he seems to have already grown attached to Irene and Sean. Will definitely book again!”
