“Winnie and Boba are THE BEST!!! 🏆 Winnie accommodated a last-minute request over Thanksgiving weekend so my husband and I could take a day trip. She even offered a meet-and-greet video call beforehand, which really put my mind at ease since it was our second time using Rover for dog sitting. 🙏 Throughout our communications, Winnie was friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. My doggo had a blast playing with Boba, and she sent us plenty of photos and videos showing how much fun they were having together. 🦮🐕🦺 When we picked him up, my dog was clearly sad to leave - always a good sign! 🥹🥲😭🫶 We're already looking forward to our next booking. “I cannot say enough good things about Steve and Erika, and the loving care they provide to my dogs. Several years ago, I had a senior dog (Luna) with mobility issues and medical needs. Especially towards the end of her life, she was delicate and it was difficult to find people willing to board her. Erika was amazing with Luna. She made her a little senior dog apartment area in her living room, where she could be near the family and other dogs, but was protected from the rambunctiousness of younger dogs. She hand fed her food and cooked special meals for her. She gave her all her medications without difficulty and would sit with her and encourage her to eat and drink. Erika and Steve let her out in the middle of the night when her old lady dog bladder needed to go. I didn't travel much in the last year of Luna's life because I didn't want to be away from her, but when I did, I always knew Erika would take amazing care of her and love on her like one of her own dogs. I still watch and cherish the videos she sent me of Luna during her overnight stays. When we got Freya, our pandemic family addition, it was no question of reaching out to Erika again. Freya was a rescue dog, so had some socialization issues in the beginning when we first got her. Taking her to Erika's to board during the day when we are both at work has been transformative. Freya is now a happy, social dog, especially with other dogs. We jokingly refer to Erika as Freya's Nana (Steve is obviously Pop). Every time we go to drop her off, she can't wait to go inside and play with her dog friends. We trust Erika and Steve 100% with our dogs. I recommend them at the highest level, without reservation.”

About: I am a physically active recent retiree and capable dog lover who recently lost my beloved Wheaten Terrier after 11 great years with him, so I'm well able to care for your very active or senior dog that might have special dietary or physical needs. I'm recently retired and home every day, so I have lots of time to care for your pet. Drop-off and pick-up very flexible every day and evening. Although we have a securely fenced and paved back yard, it contains a swimming pool, so we kept our own pet indoors or on our fenced in, covered deck/patio which is also secure. We have a large dog crate which our dog slept in every night, but this is flexible depending on your own dog's sleeping preferences. I do not let pets sleep on my bed. We live on a very quiet street with no 'through' traffic, so it's easy to walk your dog regularly without risking encounters with other pets. Our own dog was not comfortable around other dogs and this was easy for us to manage.

I currently have flexible availability and can work with different pet-care needs, including walks, drop-in visits, cat care, and in-home pet sitting. I’m available for weekdays, weekends, and overnights depending on the request, and I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. I do not offer boarding in my home at this time. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I care for pets in their own home and follow the owner’s instructions closely. I pay attention to feeding routines, fresh water, litter boxes, doors, locks, leash safety, and keeping pets secure and comfortable. I’ll also provide updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have taken care of many friend's and neighbor's dogs. I just finished playing Division 1 soccer and have tons of energy! Would love to run/walk/train some dogs with lots of energy. I also enjoy showing the older, more chill doggos some love. I am currently looking for jobs so I have a pretty open schedule. I work from home so I can care for your pet as needed! Your dog can have run of the house - I allow dogs on furniture and even let them sleep in our bed if that's what they are used to.
