“We are so happy with Fionnuala. She was so patient and sweet with my boy. He is a little nervous with new people and he warmed up to her fast. She had very good communication with us and was understanding to all of our dog’s needs. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’ve had a dog all my life, have pet sit for many dogs, cats, and even a rabbit! I love animals and have knowledge about all sorts of pets. I am a student at Butler University and have just a couple classes with a lot of extra time each week. At home I have a dog and my sorority house also has a dog. Making sure pets are comfortable and safe is my number 1 priority. I even did my Girl Scout Gold Award project about keeping dogs from getting scared and running away and how to find them if it happens.

About: I’ve had two dogs in my lifetime each for 12 years and I’ve always loved to be around them and to make sure they were safe and felt happy. I treat each pet like family. My reliability, calm demeanor and love for animals make both pets and their owners feel at ease. I will walk the dog everyday and I can board dogs every weekend. I have experience taking care of a French bulldog named Randy. Sometimes I go there to take care of him and other times I bring him to my apartment. I have space in our apartment for the dog to roam around and I live in a safe dog friendly neighborhood in which we can take the dog for long walks near a park and a pond.

About: Since the age of 7 years old I have always had a dog around my families home. Along with my family pet, I have experience taking care of dogs that range in age and size. I have experience with 6 month old puppies that need a lot of attention through 14 year old dogs that need medication given to them. Over the years, I have taken care of pets for my friends and family ranging from a day, a weekend, to a whole week. Having a dog of my own, I understand the difficulties of finding the right sitter as well as the importance of finding the right one. I am currently a Graduate student at the University of Rhode Island. For the summer, I am taking online asynchronous classes. Since my classes are asynchronous I am able to work my school schedule around my pet sitting schedule. With that being said, I still need a couple hours each day to devote to my school work. When it comes to someone else's home, I follow all the directions that are given to me. I am very versatile depending on the needs of the pet and owner. When it comes to walks, I always walk dogs with their leash and preferably a harness for long walks (but if they don't have one that is okay as well). If I bring the dog to my own home, I have a deck with a gate and a big backyard for playing.

“Carly was amazing with our Boomie! She came once while I was sick at home and I got to see how excited he got when she came in the door. He loves her so much. She was flexible with our changing schedule, had great communication, and sent the cutest pictures of Boomie. We definitely recommend her and will be using her the next time we need a dog walker.”

About: I have the ability to reinforce basic commands like sit, stay, and recall during walks or sitting sessions. I have the ability to channel their boundless energy in a productive way, whether through play or structured exercise. I have a 11 year old pit bull which gives me experience with caring for a senior dog but understanding the slower pace, possible joint pain, or health issues that may require extra care. Being observant of subtle signs of discomfort, such as limping & notifying the owner if needed. Knowledge of how to administration oral medications & liquids. I am currently an entrepreneur which gives me more free time to provide the necessary care for your pet care. With such a flexible schedule I’m able to be available any day & anytime My two dogs are fenced it at home where they have a nice big yard to exercise & run around. I also take them on frequent walks especially the senior dog to be able to be more mobile on his legs.

About: I've been around all sorts of animals since I was a child, firstly with pet birds of my own, then volunteering at a farm for a number of years. Most recently, my experience as a veterinary assistant and being in school for a veterinary technician degree also gives me much knowledge in care for all sorts of animals, especially dogs and cats! I'm currently working at a veterinary hospital and have a few days where I can take time to fit pets that need attention into my schedule. Since my schedule changes regularly, my availability may change weekly, but usually does not impede on any pet that needs my attention. I have a variety of cages, leashes, harnesses, and toys for all size dogs if it is not available to the owner. Another benefit I can offer is the fact that since I also work at an animal hospital, if in the event where a pet needs attention while their owner’s are away, I have the access and contacts to help with any needs of that pet as soon as possible, with the permission of the owners.

“1st time Rover mama here, David is an experience handler and couldn’t be happier that we found him to watch and care for our two energetic puppies. He goes above and beyond to ease my nervousness! I recommend him -10/10!!”

I have additional experience in care for diabetic dogs and administering insulin. I also have experience in puppy care! Im currently home from school, working part time with a lot of availability both during the week/weekends. I will make time for your dog always. About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my individualized care. Every animal is unique, and I tailor my approach to their specific needs and personality, ensuring they receive dedicated, personalized attention and genuine companionship, not just a standard service. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me — it’s a natural part of my daily life. I structure my week around my pet-sitting commitments, making sure each visit gets the time and attention it deserves. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles, I plan my schedule to match each pet’s routine as closely as possible. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved is something I take seriously every day. When I’m caring for pets in their own homes, my goal is to keep them as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking to their usual routines. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality, preferences, and needs — whether that means keeping up with their favorite walking route, feeding schedule, playtime habits, or simply giving them space when needed. I always follow any instructions you provide closely, from medication to mealtime routines, and I keep the home tidy and secure while you're away. I treat every pet and home with respect, as if they were my own.

About: I have always grown up with dogs at home and I've assisted my older sister in taking care of dogs from a very young age. My availability can be seen by viewing my calendar! I am away for a good portion of the summer due to school activities, but on the days I am available I am very flexible! After August 20th I will no longer be available for services. My utmost concern for all animals under my care is safety and happiness. My goal is keeping your pet happy and healthy while you are away.

About: I’ve had dogs for 20+ years and have been puppy raising for the Seeing Eye for 6 years! I now have 2 dogs and 1 cat and can also help you with your animals! I have a nice loop around my neighbor for walks. I have two well-trained dogs that are also therapy dogs. We can all have fun and your dog will leave tired.

About: I’ve only pet sat a sweet puppy named Forty for a day in my home. She was my first dog sitting experience and the experience was so rewarding that I decided to come back for more. Although I don’t have as much experience as the next person, I decided to try my luck with Rocer and hopefully the great pet community on here will help me learn a lot more! I currently work overnight hours so I have plenty time during the day to cater to our little animals needs. Most of the activities and feedings needed to help them grow, from my understanding, happen during the day and I would be glad to be apart of that. I have a fenced yard with more than enough space for physical activity and my neighborhood is pet and pedestrian friendly for frequent outdoor activity. I also own a car with ample space for transportation if need be.

About: I grew up with dogs and I have been watching friends and coworkers dogs for years. I am reliable and love spending time with dogs I work a 9 to 5 job Tuesday to Saturday. I am available to stay at you place and feed, take out and or walk them. I am available 7 days a week for dog sitting. I can also take care of multiple dogs at 1 time. I have watched up to 4 dogs, big and small in one house. While dog sitting at the owners home I feed, walk/and or take out (if have fenced in yard). I also change their water daily. I will pick up after your dog. I will play and pet and have fun with your dogs!

About: I carry great love for my furry friends. I have been able to work with family friends on giving great care for their little ones With being a college student, I have more flexibility in my schedule and can manage my time with your pets! I have no job at this time but I hope to make pet sitting a full time job. I would begin by securing a steady transition with plenty of familiar items like their favorite toys, bed, and any specific food or treats they enjoy. I will keep up with their day to day routine to make sure they feel comfortable, including regular feeding times, walks, and play time. I’d also make sure to keep a safe environment. I will do reugular updates with photos and messages so they’re always in the loop about how your pet is doing. I will mak sure they feel comfortable and happy until you return.

Ollie F.
“Ollie is trully dog's (and cat's) best friend! She has such a great love for all animals - and they are drawn to her (even those who take some time to warm up to people). I know that in HS both her Silver and Gold Girl Scout awards were centered around animals as her hope was to help both animals and their owners (horse rescue and preventing lost dogs). She has been a trusted pet sitter throughout our neighborhood. Always spending quality time with the pets and keeping their families updated with pics and status. I would highly recommend her as a dog walker/sitter.”

“Jaz is a True Dog Whisperer! I can’t say enough good things about Jasmine and their incredible way with dogs! They have a natural, calming presence that makes every dog feel safe and loved. Whether it’s training, pet-sitting, or just spending time with them, Jasmine treats every pup like their own, with patience, kindness, and an endless supply of belly rubs. I’ve seen firsthand how dogs are drawn to her—it’s like they speak the same language! They are always attentive to a dog’s needs, ensuring they get enough exercise, playtime, and affection. They also have a great understanding of dog behavior, knowing exactly how to handle different temperaments and situations. Definitely recommend her services and trust that your fur baby will be safe!”

Stephen S.
“Stephen has cared for both my dogs on several occasions now, and I will never use someone else as long as he is available. His knowledge and experience around animals was very clear from the instant he met my pups. One is a pitbull rescue, which scares some people due to the stigma around the breed, but Stephen is beyond sweet and loving with both of them. He is prompt, reliable, and sure to text me photos and updates, which I always appreciate. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found Stephen as a sitter!”
