About: First pets were dogs and I’ve never looked back. Walks, pets, food, love all guaranteed, if they need extra medical care as well I will do. Their better health is important to me. I have a part time job Tuesday-Friday 9am-4pm with Tuesday being a night shift 4pm-9pm. I’m a college student and at the moment I get around on bike so I’m only able to take work in town at the moment. Thank you so much for considering me and I’ll always do my best to make sure your pets are cared for the best way possible. I live in a home with one lazy cat. I’ve volunteered in local cat shelters and on top of having pets throughout the years I’ve walked and looked after family and friends pets even having to take in some friends pets in emergencies when their living situations were not in order. I’ve walked and picked up my family’s big dog when he got too lazy to walk back so no matter how heavy I’ll be able to get your best friend back home.

“Ellie was amazing! She is so knowledgable of dogs and loving toward them. She checked in regularly, sent us pictures of our dog everyday, and played and interacted with her. Our dog absolutely loved Ellie. It was really nice to know our pup was in good hands, and we will definitely be using Ellie again.”

“Alex is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Beyond sweet, gentle, kind, and very understanding of my old little pug. He is a bit fragile, and Alex takes the best care of him. She is super flexible and puts my mind and heart at easy knowing that he's in such great hands. Vouldnt ask for a better dog walker. And bonus, she takes AMAZING PHOTOS!!”

I’m very trustworthy and have worked in the veterinary field so I have experience with pets of all shapes and sizes. I have knowledge that some pet sitter may not have.

“We have had Heather watch our dogs multiple times now and have been very happy with her! She truly enjoys being around them and her availability has been great for quick trips away. I would highly recommend her to others.”

“Marie was amazing. I have a pup that can be a little finicky and she was so great with Pepper, making her feel so comfortable. My partner and I felt great knowing that she was taking care of our girls. She was also very accommodating to our schedule and sent us great pictures while we were away. I definitely recommend Marie for any pet sitting needs and will for sure book with her in the future.”

“Christa is always available when I need her. She’s great and happy to send updates with pictures and Bruce loves her. I’m never stressed when I book with her. It’s always convenient and I never have to worry about Bruce getting his walks and potty time. Thanks for being Bruce’s sitter! :)”

“Delightful! Our cats are pretty shy so we weren't expecting much but Dayna was able to get pictures of them without a problem. She was very flexible and made us feel much better about being away from our pets for a week. Definitely at the top of our list for next time!”

“Joe did an awesome job. Not only did Riley come to him right away, he seemed great when I got back. Elder cats, regardless of how they live, can be a special challenge when their owners are away. Joe jumped right in trying to befriend Riley, and it worked. It's hard enough leaving our fur babys. Joe is already booked for a repeat, he was that great with my kitty.”

“My 2 kitties got care from Kate for 2 drop in visits. Everything seemed to go exactly to plan and everything was clean and in order when I returned. Kate sent updates as agreed, and it was easy to meet and schedule with her on short notice. Thank you!”

“Karen was really helpful and got pictures of both of my cats while I was away. One of them is very shy but she managed to coax her out. She sent great reports every day, and I had full confidence that my cats were well taken care of.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of all breeds since I was a young teen, from Mastiffs to Dachshunds, walking, brushing, baths, you name it! I am comfortable with dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I currently work with both dog and human aggressive dogs. I finish the semester late May, and will update my school schedule when full time classes start again in the Fall (around August of 2025). With the four dogs at home, they each have very different needs. One is not friendly with other dogs, and 13, so I like to keep him comfortable. One is a senior boxer, who is still very active and I am constantly playing with her. One is an older frenchie, who honestly is only interested in cuddling, so I make sure to cuddle up with him whenever possible. The last one is a young golden retriever. He is high energy, and cuddly. I take him with me on hikes, and am constantly training him on correct behaviors.

“Book Margarita! We never met her before we went overseas for almost 3 weeks, and didn't even have to worry about our place or our pet once! You can tell she's good people. Great updates every single visit. Our fussy-britches cat was clearly happy. The litter and food/water stations were inspection ready when we got home. It's soo good to have people you can count on when you need it, at a realistic price.”

About: Member of the Vandenberg dog sharing group for 7 years now, and have provided similar service to friends and family before that. They'll be in good hands! Mostly, I can provide regular care in the mornings and evenings when I return from working my regular 8hr job with a short commute. I do not work on the weekends. Daily walks, play time, attention, minor training enforcement, & medicine administration to include pills, topical, or injections. I will care for your pets the same ways you would, they'll be an extended asset to my family for their stay with me. If your pet requires specific attention we can work that out in detail so that I can perfectly understand their needs.

About: When I moved from Texas to California back in 2013, I have owned, cared for, fostered and rescued pets for the past 7 years. I strive to own my own affordable doggy daycare/boarding/training facility within the great community of Lompoc so all community members can afford and feel at ease if they needed someone to watch and care for their furbabies. I have a current goal of being Vet Tech certified and attending the AHC Vet Tech program. I have past experience working at board/train facilities, vet clinics, and working with rescues. I treat all animals/pets as if they were my own, because that is I have open availability and a flexible schedule since I am becoming self-employed to have more focus on school and business planning for the future. I have a fenced and secured yard with ample of space to zoomie all around and play in. My house is also in a safe, quiet neighborhood where there isn't high traffic or a lot of outside noises to worry about. I always provide water throughout day and have it readily available. When it is cold, animals stay inside with me because I believe if I am cold then the animals are too. As for caring in clients' homes, it all depends on the home and the specific care that is needed. I will be sure that working in clients' homes that animals are always secured from getting loose when entering and leaving the premises. On walks, I make sure all leads, leashes, etc. are secured and fastened properly before heading outside on walks. I also will follow any strict feeding schedules and diets, since I already have experience with my pets.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was very young. I'm a trusted, seasoned, reliable, friendly, and very loving pet sitter I currently work from home part-time and will be able to take the best care of your furry loved ones. Whatever the client needs I will make happen! :) I live near many parks, including a fenced-in dog park. Yazmin G.
“Yaz has been fond of animals since she could walk. She is caring and loving of all sorts of pets. Animals seem to pick up on her natural positivity and gravitate towards her. One of her most memorable occasions was when she cared for a injured white dove. The dove had been attacked and seemed to be beyond salvation. Yaz cared and nursed her back to full recovery. She is amazing!”

Kaylee K.
“Kaylee has taken care of our three fur babies on several occasions. We have a trio of dogs with "issues." Our Mastiff tends to be challenging towards people he doesnt know. However, he took to Kaylee upon their first meeting. Now he is so happy to see her when she visits. My Boxer, well she's a Boxer and can be a lot to handle. But Kaylee is very good with calming her down quickly. Our French Bulldog is very bougie and requires constant attention and treats. Kaylee is great with managing both of those areas, without turning him into a fart box with too many treats. She has also had to give our dogs medications, to include eye medication, which can be challenging. We trust Kaylee to stay in our home and know she will treat our dogs and our home as we would. On a side note, she often sends us pictures/videos of our fur babies, which we are always grateful for.”

“Sean is so great and super passionate about animals. You definitely can tell when he cares for pets that aren’t even his. My Tigger can’t get enough of him and gets super excited when he gets to stay with Sean for the day.”

Cortney J.
“I am writing to recommend Cortney as a trusted and experienced pet sitter. For many years we used Cortney to walk our large dog Penny. There were times we needed help two to four times a day - Cortney was also always happy and willing to accommodate. As a loving pet owner herself, I felt like our Penny was safe at her house and in her care whenever we needed her. I could not recommend Cortney and her home enough for all your pet care needs!”

Mission Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sara went above and beyond as our cat sitter and completely exceeded our expectations. We had a last-minute need for help after one of our cats developed minor health issues, and she stepped in with just a day’s notice full of enthusiasm and care. What started as a stressful situation quickly turned into peace of mind, knowing our cats were in such good hands. She sent us a bunch of adorable photos and videos each visit that truly became the highlight of our day while we were away. Sara was incredibly communicative, stayed longer than the scheduled 30 minutes to give them extra love, and made sure they felt comforted and cared for. 1000/10. thank you so much, Sara!

Alex provided drop in care for my 2 cats, one of whom is very shy. She was great making sure the shy one got her food despite my other cat, she put together their special diet, kept great track of litterbox use, and was able to extend when my flight got cancelled, twice! The photo updates were also excellent and it was nice to see my hidey cat came out after a few days. Would definitely hire again. Thank you Alex!
