About: When I moved from Texas to California back in 2013, I have owned, cared for, fostered and rescued pets for the past 7 years. I strive to own my own affordable doggy daycare/boarding/training facility within the great community of Lompoc so all community members can afford and feel at ease if they needed someone to watch and care for their furbabies. I have a current goal of being Vet Tech certified and attending the AHC Vet Tech program. I have past experience working at board/train facilities, vet clinics, and working with rescues. I treat all animals/pets as if they were my own, because that is I have open availability and a flexible schedule since I am becoming self-employed to have more focus on school and business planning for the future. I have a fenced and secured yard with ample of space to zoomie all around and play in. My house is also in a safe, quiet neighborhood where there isn't high traffic or a lot of outside noises to worry about. I always provide water throughout day and have it readily available. When it is cold, animals stay inside with me because I believe if I am cold then the animals are too. As for caring in clients' homes, it all depends on the home and the specific care that is needed. I will be sure that working in clients' homes that animals are always secured from getting loose when entering and leaving the premises. On walks, I make sure all leads, leashes, etc. are secured and fastened properly before heading outside on walks. I also will follow any strict feeding schedules and diets, since I already have experience with my pets.

About: Hi my name is Colleen! I have been around and loved animals my whole life. I offer full-time care and have Vandenberg SFB access. For the past three years, I managed a veterinary practice. Because of this background, I am incredibly familiar with the diverse medical and behavioral needs of dogs, cats, and horses alike! I am a massive dog and cat lover. At home, I have a German Shepherd and a Goldendoodle who get daily walks and endless love. Because I work from home full-time, any animal in my care will receive constant attention and supervision. I am also a very active person, so you can count on your pets getting plenty of playtime and exercise. My home is completely child-free, and visiting pets are absolutely allowed on the furniture to make them feel right at home. Additionally, I live on the military base, making it easy and convenient for me to accommodate both on-base and off-base families. Whether your pet needs high-energy play or have specialized medical needs, they will be safe, active, and loved here! Animal care is a central part of my life! I work a flexible remote schedule that allows me to be fully available for full-time care. My weekends are available and open, meaning I can dedicate plenty of quality time, structured play, and consistent attention to boarding or housesitting your pets, no matter the day of the week 🐾❤️ With a professional background in veterinary medicine and animal handling, safety is always my top priority ❤️ My home features a fully fenced yard where your dog can safely play. I’m highly experienced in reading animal behavior, maintaining clean and secure environments, administering medications if needed, and keeping a watchful eye to ensure your pet is happy and relaxed.

About: I've had pets in the home for as long as I can remember. Dog breeds from Dachshunds to Great Danes to Pit Bulls. I love them all. I have had a dog with extreme allergies so I am familiar with medication administration. I very open on schedule for the most part. I do not have a full time job like most. I am free alot of the time. I treat all pets as my own. I love giving cuddles and love to any and all animals that allow me to give them the love.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for family and friends since I was 12. I have also volunteered at the animal shelter for 2 years, learning how to deal with all types of animals. Throughout this experience I have learned how to handle the different personalities of pets. I am currently not working so I will have plenty of time to play with and take care of your animals! About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life… small dogs, large dogs, cats, etc. I love to prioritize their lives overall, and make them feel loved. Taking care of animals has always brought me immense joy. I’ve had the privilege to train puppies as well, with some commands and day to day tools/tricks. I am able to stop by as often as possible/needed. As my job can get all over the place, my schedule flips. Every other week i work weekends, and that same week off Wed-Thurs. The opposite week off mon/tues/weekend. I can provide anything your pet needs and more. Feeding, cleaning, playing, walking, medicine, etc. Making sure they feel comfortable with someone new, in their home.

About: I grew up with lots of dogs, big and small. I have taken care of elderly dogs of my own and dogsat some with my mother over the years. I also have experience with specific food/medicine instructions! I’m taking a couple of community college classes and looking to be productive in the meantime! My time is taken for a few hours midday-evening time early in the week, however I’m very flexible now during summer! Im unable to house pets at my own home, but I am still able to spend lots of time with furry friends either in your home or on walks!

About: I have grown up with pets of all sizes and temperaments my entire life. From dogs to horses to livestock, I am very calm around new animals, even if they may be a bit anxious with new people, pets, and places. I do have my own rescue pup, Río, who loves to get outside for adventures, loves other animals, and loves to be by my side whenever possible. Whether you are in need of pet sitting, exercising, a dog daycation, and/or housesitting with your beloved pet(s), my first choice is always to have Río come along so long as that is something with which you and your pet(s) will be comfortable and enjoy. I grew up on the Central Coast and love to be outdoors and adventuring whether through hikes, long walks, eating out on pet dates at the amazing restaurants nearby, trips to the off leash beaches, or more. If that’s not your pet(s)’ speed and/or favorite things, I am also very into cozying up with them on the sofa or whatever activities may be their favorites as well. If you are in need of care for your horses or livestock, whether while looking for a house sitter or other times, I have a lifetime of experience with horses and am very able to feed, muck, hotwalk, etc. while house sitting or on a drop-in basis. I have not been riding much since returning back to the Central Coast from SF but pending the temperament and experience level necessary, after learning to ride horses much around the same time I was learning to walk, I am always open for an easy ride if needed for your horse(s) as well. Just message me and we can discuss further! Please note, if you foresee last-minute requests for daycare, check-ins, and/or dog walking being necessary in the future, please reach out to schedule a formal meet and greet anytime in advance so we may know that the pups are a good match prior to any late bookings becoming necessary. For my safety and the safety of my dogs and yours, I will not accept last-minute check-ins or dog walking requests without this meet and greet completed. Río and I always make sure to take time to get outside to exercise, take potty breaks on grass, and explore daily with an hour-2.5+ hours hike in the mornings and an hour long walk/run after work. Río and I are ideally a package deal so any dog(s), cat(s), and/or whatever pet(s) you are in need of caring for and giving some love to, please advise if they are dog-friendly and enjoy a workout but also love a good lounge throughout the day. For potty breaks and a bit of engagement during the work day, I have a privately fenced yard to pop outside for some sunshine and ball play any time throughout the day and night.
