About: Hi there! 👋 My name is Berenisse and I’m a Certified Basic Obedience Dog Trainer based in Buellton, CA. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and what started as a hobby has grown into my true passion. I bring a well-rounded background to pet care and training. I’ve worked as a vet tech and as a dog trainer’s assistant, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I also have some experience in dog agility training, which I love incorporating for fun and exercise when appropriate. My approach to training and care is rooted in positive reinforcement—building trust, respect, and clear communication with every dog. I believe all dogs deserve patience, love, and encouragement, and I enjoy tailoring my care to meet each pup’s unique needs. More than anything, I truly understand how much dogs enrich our lives—and I treat every dog as if they were my own. 🐾 Loving care, respectful training, and lots of tail wags guaranteed! Most of the time I work from home, I do drive around some days and when I am caring for dogs I try to incorporate car rides, physical and mental activity to keep them happy, healthy and to provide a positive experience. They get constant walks, the dog park is a couple blocks away from my house and I do take advantage of that to make sure they get their daily physical and mental estimulation.

About: I have grown up with pets of all sizes and temperaments my entire life. From dogs to horses to livestock, I am very calm around new animals, even if they may be a bit anxious with new people, pets, and places. I do have my own rescue pup, Río, who loves to get outside for adventures, loves other animals, and loves to be by my side whenever possible. Whether you are in need of pet sitting, exercising, a dog daycation, and/or housesitting with your beloved pet(s), my first choice is always to have Río come along so long as that is something with which you and your pet(s) will be comfortable and enjoy. I grew up on the Central Coast and love to be outdoors and adventuring whether through hikes, long walks, eating out on pet dates at the amazing restaurants nearby, trips to the off leash beaches, or more. If that’s not your pet(s)’ speed and/or favorite things, I am also very into cozying up with them on the sofa or whatever activities may be their favorites as well. If you are in need of care for your horses or livestock, whether while looking for a house sitter or other times, I have a lifetime of experience with horses and am very able to feed, muck, hotwalk, etc. while house sitting or on a drop-in basis. I have not been riding much since returning back to the Central Coast from SF but pending the temperament and experience level necessary, after learning to ride horses much around the same time I was learning to walk, I am always open for an easy ride if needed for your horse(s) as well. Just message me and we can discuss further! Río and I always make sure to take time to get outside to exercise, take potty breaks on grass, and explore daily with an hour-2.5+ hours hike in the mornings and an hour long walk/run after work. Río and I are ideally a package deal so any dog(s), cat(s), and/or whatever pet(s) you are in need of caring for and giving some love to, please advise if they are dog-friendly and enjoy a workout but also love a good lounge throughout the day. For potty breaks and a bit of engagement during the work day, I have a privately fenced yard to pop outside for some sunshine and ball play any time throughout the day and night.

About: I love all animals, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs. I have been petsitting and walking dogs for over 10 years. As well as on going three years experience working at a Veterinary Hospital. I believe that it is important to take each dog's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I enjoy any kind of interaction I can get! I have a 10 year old Yorkie at home who loves to play fetch and goes wild with the word "walk". He provides me with lots of cuddling and laughs. My goal for every pet is to make them feel loved, cared, and appreciated for! I am currently working part time, so i'll have plenty of time playing with your pups! I am always aware of pets getting out so I make sure leashes are on and gates are closed before letting pets out of the house.

I understand what pet parents may need and understand that sometimes this role needs to go above and beyond to make sure your pets are being cared for. Overall, I always had a pet in the home from childhood to adulthood. Giving me over 25 years of pet care responsibilities. Currently I am a pet parent to a German Shepherd, Dax, and black house cat, Kenny. I am observant of pet body language and in-tune with pet needs. My pets have ranged from outdoor kitties to leash reactive large breeds. I have used oral medicine and topical medicine, and am comfortable with pets post-surgery as well. Being away from your pet is difficult, I’m here to ease that worry for you. Again, I’m happy to help you for brief visits or extended periods. My schedule is wide open, unless otherwise stated in the calendar. During walks, I am aware of my surroundings, if you have a specific route you walk I can stick to that route. Communication is key, making sure I am informed of anything that you need me to take note of. I’m always respectful of property and boundaries.

About: I have grown up with many different types of dogs and loved every one with my entire being. I enjoy dog walks, fur cuddles, and spending time with furry friends at any time of the day. I have a very open schedule and I am happy to spend as much time with furry friends as needed! I have a job but it is flexible and easy going. My dogs are well behaved and we only have to crate one of them if any of us leave the house. We play music for them during the day to make the outside noises not so obvious. I am happy to accommodate any pet care that is needed.
