About: Hi there! 👋 My name is Berenisse and I’m a Certified Basic Obedience Dog Trainer based in Buellton, CA. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and what started as a hobby has grown into my true passion. I bring a well-rounded background to pet care and training. I’ve worked as a vet tech and as a dog trainer’s assistant, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I also have some experience in dog agility training, which I love incorporating for fun and exercise when appropriate. My approach to training and care is rooted in positive reinforcement—building trust, respect, and clear communication with every dog. I believe all dogs deserve patience, love, and encouragement, and I enjoy tailoring my care to meet each pup’s unique needs. I’m also very active, so whether your dog needs structured training, a playful walk, or an energetic workout buddy, I’m happy to be there for them. More than anything, I truly understand how much dogs enrich our lives—and I treat every dog as if they were my own. 🐾 Loving care, respectful training, and lots of tail wags guaranteed! Most of the time I work from home, I do drive around some days and when I am caring for dogs I try to incorporate car rides, physical and mental activity to keep them happy, healthy and to provide a positive experience. They get constant walks, the dog park is a couple blocks away from my house and I do take advantage of that to make sure they get their daily physical and mental estimulation.

About: Ever since I was a young teenager, family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to check in with their cats and dogs. This includes playing with them, feeding them, giving them medication if needed, scooping litter, cleaning up vomit and other accidents, and letting them out for potty breaks. I truly love all animals and have a cat of my own. I plan to adopt a dog once I move out of my apartment and have a backyard to accommodate zoomies. I work full time in Los Olivos from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. I am fortunate enough to be able to come home on my lunch hour, so I can eat lunch with my cat and do whatever I need to do at home during that time, and we always have play time in the evenings with her favorite toy — the wand! My cat is indoor only. I understand Solvang is full of predators like coyotes, hawks, owls, etc. so I am very careful to keep my sweet girl safe. She has tons of enrichment toys and little cozy spots to sleep. When I visit pets in my friends’ houses when I am pet-sitting, I always respect their privacy and the unique way that they like to care for their own pets. I am extremely careful not to overstep or push any boundaries. I am good at taking instructions and following through.

About: I grew up on a farm in South Africa with both my parents as practicing veterinarians, so I’ve been around animals my whole life. I have ample experience caring for dogs and cats—from feeding, walking, and playtime to giving extra love and attention. I’ve cared for pets of friends and family regularly, and I treat every furry friend as part of my own family. I’m outdoorsy and love spending time walking and playing with pets. I’m also comfortable with puppies, BIG dogs, senior dogs, and animals with special needs, and I prioritize making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m self-employed, which gives me a flexible schedule to care for pets. I can easily work around morning and early afternoon playtime, walks, and feedings. The evenings are more challenging as I have feed, play and bath time with kids of my own 😊 . Please reach out as I could always try and coordinate so your pets get the attention and love they deserve. I treat every pet as part of my family, whether in my home or yours. In my home, pets have a safe, fenced yard to play in and plenty of space to explore. I supervise all playtime and walks to ensure safety and comfort. In clients’ homes, I follow their routines and instructions closely, making sure pets feel secure, happy, and loved.

About: I have grown up with pets of all sizes and temperaments my entire life. From dogs to horses to livestock, I am very calm around new animals, even if they may be a bit anxious with new people, pets, and places. I do have my own rescue pup, Río, who loves to get outside for adventures, loves other animals, and loves to be by my side whenever possible. Whether you are in need of pet sitting, exercising, a dog daycation, and/or housesitting with your beloved pet(s), my first choice is always to have Río come along so long as that is something with which you and your pet(s) will be comfortable and enjoy. I grew up on the Central Coast and love to be outdoors and adventuring whether through hikes, long walks, eating out on pet dates at the amazing restaurants nearby, trips to the off leash beaches, or more. If that’s not your pet(s)’ speed and/or favorite things, I am also very into cozying up with them on the sofa or whatever activities may be their favorites as well. If you are in need of care for your horses or livestock, whether while looking for a house sitter or other times, I have a lifetime of experience with horses and am very able to feed, muck, hotwalk, etc. while house sitting or on a drop-in basis. I have not been riding much since returning back to the Central Coast from SF but pending the temperament and experience level necessary, after learning to ride horses much around the same time I was learning to walk, I am always open for an easy ride if needed for your horse(s) as well. Just message me and we can discuss further! Please note, if you foresee last-minute requests for daycare, check-ins, and/or dog walking being necessary in the future, please reach out to schedule a formal meet and greet anytime in advance so we may know that the pups are a good match prior to any late bookings becoming necessary. For my safety and the safety of my dogs and yours, I will not accept last-minute check-ins or dog walking requests without this meet and greet completed. Río and I always make sure to take time to get outside to exercise, take potty breaks on grass, and explore daily with an hour-2.5+ hours hike in the mornings and an hour long walk/run after work. Río and I are ideally a package deal so any dog(s), cat(s), and/or whatever pet(s) you are in need of caring for and giving some love to, please advise if they are dog-friendly and enjoy a workout but also love a good lounge throughout the day. For potty breaks and a bit of engagement during the work day, I have a privately fenced yard to pop outside for some sunshine and ball play any time throughout the day and night.

About: I have grown up with large dogs since I was a young child. My own dog is a large rescue and he was completely untrained and afraid. I am proud to say that he and I both put in so much work into his training. I housebroke, leash-trained, and recall trained him on my own. He knows multiple commands and gets along with dogs of all sizes. He is one of the most important things in my life so I completely understand the love and care pet owners have when it comes to choosing care for their animals! About: Hi! I’m Maddie, a caring and trustworthy veterinary technician with 12 years of experience in veterinary medicine. I currently working as a veterinary technician in specialty medicine in Santa Barbara, and have a lot of experience with dogs and cats. I received my bachelors degree in Animal Science at UC Davis, am currently working to become a registered veterinary technician. I have also been petsitting for 4-5 years. I have two cats of my own, but also love dogs. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, senior dogs, or those that have special needs or need to be medicated. Walks or check-ins are preferred due to my schedule, but overnight care can be discussed. I can’t wait to help care for your furry friends! I am available for walks or check ins early in the morning or in the evening on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Due to my commute to Santa Barbara for work, the check ins will be around 6:30am and 6:30pm. I am available for 2-3 check ins per day and walks on my days off, generally Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I love morning walks in town, so I would love to take your dogs on those walks! I care for the pets as the owners request. If they require to be crated at night I can do so, or if they must sleep in the bed and require cuddles, that can also be done! I keep the home very clean, taking out trash if needed and will often clean up before I leave. I also keep the pets feeding areas clean and change the water regularly. I can also medicate and will give medications as prescribed and as directed by the owner. I can also water plants, take the garbage cans out, or anything else needed while caring for the home.

About: Since I was a just a kid I have loved all kinds of dogs, I know all the great dog parks in the area to play fetch or just let them run free (in the gated park of coarse) and even enjoy taking them on hikes threw out the city or to the beach on a sunny day! We can play fetch or tug o war, lay inside and hangout or go outside and enjoy the sun. When provided I will feed your pet and give them water when needed; and I will even give your pet treats or rewards for good behavior or fun tricks they may know. I can also provide possible grooming upon request and for an extra fee depending on grooming request and dog size and age.
