About: Hi there! 👋 My name is Berenisse and I’m a Certified Basic Obedience Dog Trainer based in Buellton, CA. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and what started as a hobby has grown into my true passion. I bring a well-rounded background to pet care and training. I’ve worked as a vet tech and as a dog trainer’s assistant, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I also have some experience in dog agility training, which I love incorporating for fun and exercise when appropriate. My approach to training and care is rooted in positive reinforcement—building trust, respect, and clear communication with every dog. I believe all dogs deserve patience, love, and encouragement, and I enjoy tailoring my care to meet each pup’s unique needs. I’m also very active, so whether your dog needs structured training, a playful walk, or an energetic workout buddy, I’m happy to be there for them. Most of the time I work from home, I do drive around some days and when I am caring for dogs I try to incorporate car rides, physical and mental activity to keep them happy, healthy and to provide a positive experience. They get constant walks, the dog park is a couple blocks away from my house and I do take advantage of that to make sure they get their daily physical and mental estimulation.

About: I have been raised with dogs my whole life. As soon as I could do chores, I was helping take care of the family dogs. I have also cared for neighbors' dogs who had special dietary needs and medication schedules. I also have a little bit of experience taking care of cats from my previous work as an in-home caregiver. About: As a trained veterinary assistant, I have hands on experience with animals in both calm and high stress situations. I’m comfortable recognizing signs of illness or distress, administering medications, and providing specialized care when needed. Your pets well-being is my top priority. I’m currently working Monday through Friday from 7am-4pm . On weekdays I am available after 4:00pm , but on weekends I am available whenever needed. I make sure food and water areas are kept tidy, any messes are cleaned promptly, and your pet has a clean, safe environment. I watch for any changes in appetite, energy, behavior, or bathroom habits. If I notice anything concerning, I’ll contact you right away and, if needed, consult with your vet.

I have a flexible schedule and can book with short notice if needed. Excited to care for your special furry family member! I am a stay at home mom of 4 and am available around my kids school and activity schedules. We can only board low shedding hypoallergenic dogs in our home but am available to walk and drop in on all breeds, including puppy care! We have one doodle at our home currently and an extra large fenced yard to run out energy. Can help with training basic commands, loose leash walking, help with create training and socializing puppies with children and other dogs. Can do some basic grooming if needed as well! Happy to spend time and love on your pet as I would my own!

About: Since a very young age (about 5+), I have been taking care of a myriad of animals and learned animal body language from them. It was incredible and I learned a lot of valuable skills from them. After that, I took up teaching myself how to train dogs (plus puppies and cats) with positive training methods.
