About: I have been raised with dogs my whole life. As soon as I could do chores, I was helping take care of the family dogs. I have also cared for neighbors' dogs who had special dietary needs and medication schedules. I also have a little bit of experience taking care of cats from my previous work as an in-home caregiver. I currently don’t have any other commitments work-wise, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. I also rarely take holidays off, so I’d be available for any time of the year on any day! I would love to get to know more about your pets on my first visit! It’s very important to me that the pet has the routines you would like implemented, and if there are any medications to be aware of.
“Jessica is great! This was the first time in almost 13 years that I’ve left my cat for more than a couple of nights. Jessica did a great job getting him out of his hiding spot and comfortable with her company. He’s very particular with who he interacts with. She did a great job taking care of him during her drop-in’s, was very flexible, and responsive.”

“Maria was amazing. This was my first time using the app, I was very hesitant since I've never had someone take care of my dog. But if it's Maria, then you don't have to worry. She asked me questions about my pet and made me feel at ease. She explained how things worked and helped me understand the process. She did an amazing job taking care of my dog and my dog LOVED her. If she is available you must book with Maria!”

“Kelly was friendly beyond just the pet sitting, and she rushed to our house late at night when I realized I'd put the wrong start date on the request - plus she wasn't even worried about getting paid for it!”
“Cary did a wonderful job taking care of my cat. I enjoyed receiving the pictures and updates. My cat is usually shy around new people but they hit it off. When I got home my kitty seemed happy. I will definitely call her again when I’m going to be out of town.”

About: Hello my name is Karen, I’m happy to help you with pet care arrangements. I myself have relied on Rover for times I needed to be away. I understand what pet parents may need and understand that sometimes this role needs to go above and beyond to make sure your pets are being cared for. Overall, I always had a pet in the home from childhood to adulthood. Giving me over 25 years of pet care responsibilities. Currently I am a pet parent to a German Shepherd, Dax, and black house cat, Kenny. I am observant of pet body language and in-tune with pet needs. My pets have ranged from outdoor kitties to leash reactive large breeds. I have used oral medicine and topical medicine, and am comfortable with pets post-surgery as well. Being away from your pet is difficult, I’m here to ease that worry for you. Again, I’m happy to help you for brief visits or extended periods. Please feel free to reach out and see if we can work together. 🐾❤️ This service requires trust and dependability, something that I can definitely deliver. Including Solvang, Buellton, and Santa Ynez. If you do have questions about something more specific or time frames that are more specific to your needs please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to help you and make something work. I am cautious and aware, making sure that pets are safe at all times, I like to be preventative and think one step ahead. During walks, I am aware of my surroundings, if you have a specific route you walk I can stick to that route. Communication is key, making sure I am informed of anything that you need me to take note of. I’m always respectful of property and boundaries.

About: I have decidedly taken the entire summer off from a corporate job to recalibrate myself. With that being said, my time has opened up to provide the sweetest care for your pets. I have my own two dogs that I've loved and raised for the last 13 years. I have been with them through their puppy training, medical needs as they've gotten older, and become versed with the emotional labor that comes with owning aging pets. I am also an amateur photographer so you will absolutely be receiving a great number of photos of your pets while under my care. “Was very impressed with her care of our old man. We could tell when we came home that even anxious because we were gone he was still very well cared for refreshed and happy. ??”
“Lacey took wonderful care of our little Poppy over the Thanksgiving holiday. Poppy can be very shy and is usually uncomfortable with new people, but Lacey had such a calm and grounding presence that Poppy warmed up to her quickly — even letting her be pet, which rarely happens. Lacey communicated well throughout the week and sent lots of photos, which helped us feel reassured while we were away. She also gave thoughtful updates after each visit, and by the end it truly seemed like she and Poppy had become friends. There were a couple of days when unexpected issues made her later than planned, but in spite of these hiccups, she kept Poppy top of mind and kept us in the loop. Overall, I’m grateful for the care, kindness, and attention she gave Poppy. I would book with her again.”

About: Family and friends have relied on me to take care of their pets for several years. I find that they end up taking care of me too! Currently, I am unemployed so I will be mostly available starting on 6/10/24. I cannot earn any income until after June 9th, 2024. Thank You for your understanding. I currently reside with my elderly dad, therefore I prefer to care for pets at their own home as he does not want pets around. I find that this is mostly a plus for all concerned.

“Jennifer was great when she met with us to go over their feeding schedule and portions, our pets felt well during the first meeting. she also kept us well informed during our trip, we felt comfortable that our three pets would be well taken care of. Thank you.”

“We have had Heather watch our dogs multiple times now and have been very happy with her! She truly enjoys being around them and her availability has been great for quick trips away. I would highly recommend her to others.”
