“Dayna did a great job with my two dogs. She gave me updates and pictures that showed they were doing what they normally do when I am home. I think they may have even secretly adopted Dayna as they gave her the honor of lying on the couch next to her, and even on her. If the opportunity arises I will not hesitate to contact Dayna.”

“Marie was amazing with my diabetic cat, this was my first time leaving her since her diagnosis, and I was nervous, but Marie handled everything with care and confidence. She followed all instructions perfectly and kept me updated throughout. On top of that, she watered my basil plant and even cleaned my microwave—completely unprompted! I came home to a happy, healthy cat and a tidy home. Truly above and beyond. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

About: First pets were dogs and I’ve never looked back. Walks, pets, food, love all guaranteed, if they need extra medical care as well I will do. Their better health is important to me. I have a part time job Tuesday-Friday 9am-4pm with Tuesday being a night shift 4pm-9pm. I’m a college student and I get around on bike so I’m only able to take work in town at the moment. Thank you so much for considering me and I’ll always do my best to make sure your pets are cared for the best way possible. I live in a home with one lazy cat. I’ve volunteered in local cat shelters and on top of having pets throughout the years I’ve walked and looked after family and friends pets even having to take in some friends pets in emergencies when their living situations were not in order. I’ve walked and picked up my family’s big dog when he got too lazy to walk back so no matter how heavy I’ll be able to get your best friend back home.
About: I've had pets in the home for as long as I can remember. Dog breeds from Dachshunds to Great Danes to Pit Bulls. I love them all. I have had a dog with extreme allergies so I am familiar with medication administration. I very open on schedule for the most part. I do not have a full time job like most. I am free alot of the time. I treat all pets as my own. I love giving cuddles and love to any and all animals that allow me to give them the love.
About: I grew up with lots of dogs, big and small. I have taken care of elderly dogs of my own and dogsat some with my mother over the years. I also have experience with specific food/medicine instructions! I’m taking a couple of community college classes and looking to be productive in the meantime! My time is taken for a few hours midday-evening time early in the week, however I’m very flexible now during summer! Im unable to house pets at my own home, but I am still able to spend lots of time with furry friends either in your home or on walks!
“Second time I have booked with Ellen and I will continue to be a repeat customer. She’s been great with my pup each time and stays in communication throughout. I highly recommend her services!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Mia was outstanding in the care and communication she provided. She's smart, polite and responsible. She cared for my 2 cats for 11 days while i was out of the country. She's a university student so you know she's able to follow detailed instructions and problem-solve. She handled ant infestation and cat regurgitation without complaint and said she'd be happy to return for another pet sitting. That's a good work ethic! I thanked her generously and highly recommend her.”
“Karen was really helpful and got pictures of both of my cats while I was away. One of them is very shy but she managed to coax her out. She sent great reports every day, and I had full confidence that my cats were well taken care of.”

About: When I moved from Texas to California back in 2013, I have owned, cared for, fostered and rescued pets for the past 7 years. I strive to own my own affordable doggy daycare/boarding/training facility within the great community of Lompoc so all community members can afford and feel at ease if they needed someone to watch and care for their furbabies. I have a current goal of being Vet Tech certified and attending the AHC Vet Tech program. I have past experience working at board/train facilities, vet clinics, and working with rescues. I treat all animals/pets as if they were my own, because that is I have open availability and a flexible schedule since I am becoming self-employed to have more focus on school and business planning for the future. I have a fenced and secured yard with ample of space to zoomie all around and play in. My house is also in a safe, quiet neighborhood where there isn't high traffic or a lot of outside noises to worry about. I always provide water throughout day and have it readily available. When it is cold, animals stay inside with me because I believe if I am cold then the animals are too. As for caring in clients' homes, it all depends on the home and the specific care that is needed. I will be sure that working in clients' homes that animals are always secured from getting loose when entering and leaving the premises. On walks, I make sure all leads, leashes, etc. are secured and fastened properly before heading outside on walks. I also will follow any strict feeding schedules and diets, since I already have experience with my pets.

Promo below!!! 🙌🙌🫶 https://www.rover.com/sit/micheg53506 I work full time currently, but do not work weekends which is when I have the most availability, drop offs are easier and more flexible timing on weekends but during the work week I can do before or after work. My work schedule is almost never consistent so the times I am available to check in depends upon my schedule. I’ve done pet sitting for many of our clients at work and have been very trusted with their homes as well as with their pets. I respect both the home and pets and do what is needed for both.
“Alex is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Beyond sweet, gentle, kind, and very understanding of my old little pug. He is a bit fragile, and Alex takes the best care of him. She is super flexible and puts my mind and heart at easy knowing that he's in such great hands. Vouldnt ask for a better dog walker. And bonus, she takes AMAZING PHOTOS!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. We have always had at least one dog in the house which I helped bathe, walk, and take care of. My most recent dog we got when he was a puppy and I personally have house and leash trained as well as taught him some funny tricks. I am working a part time job and my availability will range based off of my work schedule but I am available weekday mornings and most weekends. I will always ask about any necessary routines your pets need and any thing specific that goes into caring for your pets! I am all about respecting boundaries in your home and with your pets!
About: We have had pets in my family my entire life.. Started off with a cat, then two. My older sister begged for a dog and we finally got one. Now my parents have two dogs, and one cat. We've had birds, fish, guinea pigs, frogs, and a bearded dragon... I recently moved out of my parents house and am craving the love from pets. I used to help my aunt care for her cats when she got older. I would pet sit for friends and neighbors growing up and Rover is allowing me to get back into that. I take myself for walks because I'm not good at sitting still and they would be much more enjoyable with a pal! I am working remotely and part time. I am a social worker so I meet with clients via tele-health. I do have a set schedule, but it allows for flexibility and I am not currently accepting new clients so this won't change much. I am renting a house so cannot accept pets into it- as the home owners trusting me with their indoor and outdoor cats. I have always been very careful in other people's homes- trying not to leave a trace- unless it is a note about how things went!

This was my second time with Anabella watching my cat and it went well! She let me know that my cat ate all his meals even though he would hide from her. Eventually he even started coming out of hiding to come meet her! She responds quickly and took great care of my Mr Muffins.

Stephanie took great care of our kitten and was especially patient. Every time she came, she let me know when she arrived and when she left. I felt extremely at ease leaving my cat in her care. If I need help again in the future, I will definitely hire her to look after my cat.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
