About: Hi there! 👋 My name is Berenisse and I’m a Certified Basic Obedience Dog Trainer based in Buellton, CA. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and what started as a hobby has grown into my true passion. I bring a well-rounded background to pet care and training. I’ve worked as a vet tech and as a dog trainer’s assistant, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I also have some experience in dog agility training, which I love incorporating for fun and exercise when appropriate. My approach to training and care is rooted in positive reinforcement—building trust, respect, and clear communication with every dog. I believe all dogs deserve patience, love, and encouragement, and I enjoy tailoring my care to meet each pup’s unique needs. I’m also very active, so whether your dog needs structured training, a playful walk, or an energetic workout buddy, I’m happy to be there for them. More than anything, I truly understand how much dogs enrich our lives—and I treat every dog as if they were my own. 🐾 Loving care, respectful training, and lots of tail wags guaranteed! Most of the time I work from home, I do drive around some days and when I am caring for dogs I try to incorporate car rides, physical and mental activity to keep them happy, healthy and to provide a positive experience. They get constant walks, the dog park is a couple blocks away from my house and I do take advantage of that to make sure they get their daily physical and mental estimulation.
“Jeannette was incredible! She was super responsive and professional. I had no concerns leaving my dogs in her care while I was away and was able to enjoy myself. I will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

About: Hello my name is Karen, I’m happy to help you with pet care arrangements. I myself have relied on Rover for times I needed to be away. I understand what pet parents may need and understand that sometimes this role needs to go above and beyond to make sure your pets are being cared for. Overall, I always had a pet in the home from childhood to adulthood. Giving me over 25 years of pet care responsibilities. Currently I am a pet parent to a German Shepherd, Dax, and black house cat, Kenny. I am observant of pet body language and in-tune with pet needs. My pets have ranged from outdoor kitties to leash reactive large breeds. I have used oral medicine and topical medicine, and am comfortable with pets post-surgery as well. Being away from your pet is difficult, I’m here to ease that worry for you. Again, I’m happy to help you for brief visits or extended periods. Please feel free to reach out and see if we can work together. 🐾❤️ This service requires trust and dependability, something that I can definitely deliver. My schedule is wide open, unless otherwise stated in the calendar. My homebase is in Santa Maria, but I am willing to travel and service areas as far as Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande, and the places between. Including Solvang, Buellton, and Santa Ynez. If you do have questions about something more specific or time frames that are more specific to your needs please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to help you and make something work. I am cautious and aware, making sure that pets are safe at all times, I like to be preventative and think one step ahead. During walks, I am aware of my surroundings, if you have a specific route you walk I can stick to that route. Communication is key, making sure I am informed of anything that you need me to take note of. I’m always respectful of property and boundaries.
“Linda was willing to come stay with our animals with short notice. Our dog is senior and requires a patient and attentive care giver as well as someone that will be at the house a lot. Linda was wonderful and made sure that he had what was needed. Our fickle cat also really enjoyed having Linda stay. Both were given constant attention. I highly recommend Linda and we will have her come again.”
“Natalie was fantastic! She took amazing care of my dog Ligeti, giving him all the attention and care he needed. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such great hands. Highly recommend her services!”

“Lacey did a great job caring for my cat and dog. She got the dog out for walks daily, rain permitting. My cat warmed up to her nicely. She was a lifesaver letting me go help my brother after surgery. Only negative. She missed trash day, but no problem, I had room for 2 weeks to fit.”

About: Hi! I’m 20 years old and work at an animal care hospital, where I care for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities every day. Because of my hands-on experience in a veterinary setting, I’m confident recognizing signs of stress or illness and providing attentive, safe care. I have dogs of my own and have dogsat before, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, high-energy dogs, and those with special routines. I’m energetic, friendly, and love long walks and active playtime — but I’m also happy to stick to your dog’s usual schedule to keep them comfortable. I’m flexible and can work around both your schedule and your pet’s needs. You can expect regular updates and photos so you always feel at ease while you’re away. I treat every dog like they’re my own — with patience, structure, and lots of love. I’d love to meet your pup! 🐾 I work full-time at an animal care hospital during the week, but I’m available for evening visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 5pm. I have full availability on weekends and can be flexible to match your dog’s schedule. Just message me and we can figure out what works best! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. During drop-ins or walks, I make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment based on their energy level and personality. I always refresh water, clean up any messes, and ensure your home is left exactly how I found it. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe and happy while you’re away.
About: I have been raised with dogs my whole life. As soon as I could do chores, I was helping take care of the family dogs. I have also cared for neighbors' dogs who had special dietary needs and medication schedules. I also have a little bit of experience taking care of cats from my previous work as an in-home caregiver. I currently don’t have any other commitments work-wise, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. I also rarely take holidays off, so I’d be available for any time of the year on any day! I would love to get to know more about your pets on my first visit! It’s very important to me that the pet has the routines you would like implemented, and if there are any medications to be aware of.
“This was our first house sit and we were so impressed! Great communication and felt really safe having her stay with our dogs. She gave medication, took them on walks, and left the house neater than she found it! We will definitely have Ellen back again.”

“Shaundra was kind enough to care for my 6 dogs in my home over the Christmas holiday. She's friendly and did very well with our dogs, especially when it came to our aggressive male. I was a little worried because he doesn't do well with strangers, but every time I checked in on the Furbo cam, he was calm and relaxed. And every time I checked in on them or to drop some treats, they were all snuggled up around her on the sofa! It was the first time we've ever hired a dog sitter and I am pleased to say it was a great choice hiring Shaundra. We've actually already booked her for another weekend get-away! Thank you Shaundra.”

“I was so happy when I got home from a long day away and found that my babies were so lovingly cared for by Laurie and Reese. Think Teddy found a great playmate with Reese, that when Laurie and Reese left he started barking at the door. My dog never barks, so I think a hi-five and honors go to this happy pair. Thanks again so much.👍”
About: I have decidedly taken the entire summer off from a corporate job to recalibrate myself. With that being said, my time has opened up to provide the sweetest care for your pets. I have my own two dogs that I've loved and raised for the last 13 years. I have been with them through their puppy training, medical needs as they've gotten older, and become versed with the emotional labor that comes with owning aging pets. I am also an amateur photographer so you will absolutely be receiving a great number of photos of your pets while under my care. I have decidedly taken the entire summer off from corporate work, so I have the availability to provide pet support with the fullest of care and attention. “Walela did a fantastic job caring for our three big dogs over three nights. The dogs were happy and well taken care of, and the house was left spotless. We truly appreciate the great care and would definitely book again in the future!”
About: I have grown up with pets of all sizes and temperaments my entire life. From dogs to horses to livestock, I am very calm around new animals, even if they may be a bit anxious with new people, pets, and places. I do have my own rescue pup, Río, who loves to get outside for adventures, loves other animals, and loves to be by my side whenever possible. Whether you are in need of pet sitting, exercising, a dog daycation, and/or housesitting with your beloved pet(s), my first choice is always to have Río come along so long as that is something with which you and your pet(s) will be comfortable and enjoy. I grew up on the Central Coast and love to be outdoors and adventuring whether through hikes, long walks, eating out on pet dates at the amazing restaurants nearby, trips to the off leash beaches, or more. If that’s not your pet(s)’ speed and/or favorite things, I am also very into cozying up with them on the sofa or whatever activities may be their favorites as well. If you are in need of care for your horses or livestock, whether while looking for a house sitter or other times, I have a lifetime of experience with horses and am very able to feed, muck, hotwalk, etc. while house sitting or on a drop-in basis. I have not been riding much since returning back to the Central Coast from SF but pending the temperament and experience level necessary, after learning to ride horses much around the same time I was learning to walk, I am always open for an easy ride if needed for your horse(s) as well. Just message me and we can discuss further! Río and I always make sure to take time to get outside to exercise, take potty breaks on grass, and explore daily with an hour-2.5+ hours hike in the mornings and an hour long walk/run after work. Río and I are ideally a package deal so any dog(s), cat(s), and/or whatever pet(s) you are in need of caring for and giving some love to, please advise if they are dog-friendly and enjoy a workout but also love a good lounge throughout the day. For potty breaks and a bit of engagement during the work day, I have a privately fenced yard to pop outside for some sunshine and ball play any time throughout the day and night.
“Dyanna has watched my dog a couple times now and she has been great! She is communicative, sends updates, and is very responsive. I know my dog is well taken care of when I am out of town and love that she enjoys watching him.”

“Dayna took such good care of our pets! They enjoyed her constant attention and snuggles. It's so nice to have someone reliable to take care of them when we're gone for a few days. It let's me enjoy breaks that much more. We will definitely be using her services again!”

About: I have many year of pet caring under my belt! I have two dogs of my own, one of which with special needs. I have been left in charge of my pets before and have shown that I am trusted to handle everything. I have experienced training both of my dogs, and have been in charge of administering insulin of my special needs dog. I have dog sat for my friends and neighbors in the past, and they have been very happy with results. I will treat every animal and house with respect, like they are my own. Thank you for consideration in keeping your beloved animals safe!! I am a college student that is home for the summer working and internship! My schedule is somewhat flexible but on my work days they run pretty long. Dog walking in the morning or early afternoon is something that would work with my schedule. Any house sitting needs work during the week, and can be a little different on the weekend but it can still work! I will respect every home that I am invited to for dog sitting needs. I will be cautious of entering the home making sure all animals are secure and we have no escapees! I only offer out of home sitting, meaning no animal will be taken out of their own house for sitting. If your animal needs to be crated or other special accommodations please do let me know and I will make it happen!
