About: Hi my name is Colleen! I have been around and loved animals my whole life. I offer full-time care and live on Vandenberg SFB. For the past three years, I managed a veterinary practice. Because of this background, I am very familiar with the diverse medical and behavioral needs of dogs, cats, and horses. I am a huge dog and cat lover - at home, I have a German Shepherd and a Goldendoodle who get daily walks and lots of cuddles. Because I work from home full-time, any animal in my care will receive constant attention and supervision. I am also a very active person, so you can count on your pets getting plenty of playtime and exercise. My home is completely child-free, and visiting pets are absolutely allowed on the furniture to make them feel right at home. Additionally, I live on the military base, making it easy and convenient for me to accommodate both on-base and off-base families. Whether your pet needs high-energy play or have specialized medical needs, they will be safe, active, and loved here! Animal care is a central part of my life! I work a flexible remote schedule that allows me to be fully available for full-time care. My weekends are available and open, meaning I can dedicate plenty of quality time, structured play, and consistent attention to boarding or housesitting your pets, no matter the day of the week 🐾❤️ With a professional background in veterinary medicine and animal handling, safety is always my top priority ❤️ My home features a fully fenced yard where your dog can safely play. I’m highly experienced in reading animal behavior, maintaining clean and secure environments, administering medications if needed, and keeping a watchful eye to ensure your pet is happy and relaxed.

About: I’ve been caring for animals ever since getting my first cat at the age of 4. Her name was muffin and she was all grey. I have never been without a pet since then. I have had one or more cats at all times in my life and currently also have a large dog, I am comfortable with feeding, playing, basic needs and giving medicine if necessary for cats and dogs. I take pride in my experiences and love of animals. I am currently a stay at home mom so I have several hours of free time during the day. As both kids go to school. Three times a week I clean at a gymnasium for 3 hours but other than that, I am mostly available all hours until 4pm when child activities began. I have blocks of time between 4pm-9pm on weekdays, navigating around children's sports and weekends are typically completely open. While visiting your home, I would respect all entrances and environments and aim to treat your home and pets the exact same way you would treat your space and pets. Listening carefully to your wishes and expectations to make sure your needs and your pets are met.

“Linda was willing to come stay with our animals with short notice. Our dog is senior and requires a patient and attentive care giver as well as someone that will be at the house a lot. Linda was wonderful and made sure that he had what was needed. Our fickle cat also really enjoyed having Linda stay. Both were given constant attention. About: I have taken care of many family & friends dogs and cats (and other types of pets) over the years. I have never had an issue with even the unruly ones. I am able to gain an animals trust quickly and am intuitive on how to approach them & care for them. I have a special needs nephew that I am a Respite Careworker for, I help administer his medications and am confident I can administer meds to any animal as well. I have also been taking care of my disabled mom for the last few years and am a mother of 2 (new empty nester). I have a lot of patience and don't get upset with messes. Everything is washable in my opinion. Although I will keep your house as tidy as possible if I am House Sitting for you. I live in Santa Maria, but am available for pet/house sitting in any part of Santa Barbara or San Luis Counties depending on the day(s). I would consider traveling further on the weekends if I am able. I am a responsible & trustworthy person, who genuinely enjoys caring for others. I work from home on Mon & Fri, so I am only unavailable during the day on Tues/Wed/Thurs. I am able to care for animals in the morning before I leave for work and every evening. I recently lost my dog at the ripe old age of 17, I used to walk my dog every day, so I know all the good dog walking spots in the area. I love hiking as well, so if your dog is up for it, I am happy to take them hiking too. I work in conjunction with my partner who is home during the day, so if there is a need for more exercise, feedings or medication during the day, we can facilitate that. I enjoy the company of animals, so they would be included in everything I do, as much as possible. I used to take my dog everywhere with me. I prefer caring for pets in their own homes, only because they are more comfortable there. My place is not very big, so it depends on how much space they are used to. I can sit 2-3 dogs at a time if they are not too big. I have room for a crate, but not more than one. I do have a is fenced in yard with a locked gate.

About: Dog owner for 10+ years. Experience with Senior pets. When I was much younger I worked in an Animal Boarding Shelter / Vet Hospital. I was responsible for managing all pets in the boarding clinic and it was my passion and joy :) I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule to take on dog boarding. I'd love to care for your pet and they would bring alot of joy into my life too :) Pets have the utmost respect in my house and I will care for them attentively and with lots of care/concern. I had an 11yr chichuahua yorkie terrier mix (Lucy) who was my pride and joy. Lucy passed away from Cushing's disease last year but I was able to take care of her though her illness and senior years. Dogs are the absolute best and I would be so happy to care for yours!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always watched dogs for all my friends and family! I love having dogs around as it’s never a dull moment in the house! I currently work remote so I am always home and and ready to care for your fur babies! I currently work remote so I am home all day. My work schedule is 8am-5:30pm and I exercise by walking the riverbed by my house so it’s perfect for me and the pups! I have a fenced yard and a twelve year old beagle mix who loves to meet new friends! When I dog sit for friends or family, I set up a spot for them in my room and my pup in a separate room so they can have their space. I’m not a huge fan of leaving pups in the garage (unless requested) so they will always have a spot with me I their own bed!

About: My name is Debbie. I live in a house with a fenced backyard with lots of grass. Your dog will be well cared for and treated like part of the family! I grew up on a ranch and have cared for many different animals over the years. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have experience with blind and deaf dogs as well. I have one dog that is 5 years old. He is fun and loving. He is a medium size dog who would love a playmate on the weekends! I often take my dog to the dog park or to the beach for walks and play. Your best friend would be safe and have lots of love here. If you’d like more information just ask. I am available weekends and some afternoons/evenings. I offer doggy day care or overnight care as well. Let me know what your pets needs are. I have a fenced grassy back yard with shade. Pets are also allowed in my house. If your pet sleeps in a crate I can do that or if they sleep on the couch or a bed I can do that as well. I am flexible with their needs.

About: We had two corgis who lived long full lives walking them out at River Park or around our old Lompoc neighborhood was always special. I believe in keeping dogs close and nurturing them with positive reinforcement. I am training for half marathons again. Our dogs were my best running buddies. I like having a pet temporarily. I work as a realtor so I am in charge of my schedule. Taking and sending photos of your dogs' stays in progress is fun. I am very responsible. Our girl corgi was a 5 week old puppy when we got her. After we adopted the boy at 2 years old he was a 4H dog that we trained and learned to train for showing. Taking care of my BFF's cat and dog while she traveled for five to seven days in a few occasions was a special experience. Providing hospitality to pets in their home is my pleasure. Looking forward to seeing you and meeting and spending time with your pet Currently the only scheduled obligation I have is an environmental horticulture class at sbcc on Thursdays ends 05/25. So your pet will have my full attention and go on lots of walk. I’m able to accommodate schedules and routines! We also have a fenced in backyard for the animals to run around in. At home, I keep your babies with me and separate from our two very friendly (with dogs and humans) shitzu pups. If you’re comfortable with the pups mixing and mingling, then I’ll let them hang out together. Otherwise, I’ll keep your pet with me in my office. My home office has a couch, a dog bed and if they like to cool off their warm bellies, a hardwood floor. Regardless, your pet will be with me! I like to take walks around the courthouse since it’s so pretty and close by, so we’ll do that as well. We also have a back patio that I can additionally let them run around in. Depending on your comfort levels and size of your pup, your pet can sleep in my bedroom (not in bed) or in the living room in front of our bedroom on a plush dog bed. ***A couple of side notes: 1. Let me know any restrictions your pet has around food, diets, allergies and treats. 2. We also have a crate, if that’s something you want/need for your pet. 3. Please wait for a confirmation from me regarding your booking. I do accept last minute requests but every now and then last minute obligations come up!
