About: Hi my name is Colleen! I have been around and loved animals my whole life. I offer full-time care and live on Vandenberg SFB. For the past three years, I managed a veterinary practice. Because of this background, I am very familiar with the diverse medical and behavioral needs of dogs, cats, and horses. I am a huge dog and cat lover - at home, I have a German Shepherd and a Goldendoodle who get daily walks and lots of cuddles. Because I work from home full-time, any animal in my care will receive constant attention and supervision. I am also a very active person, so you can count on your pets getting plenty of playtime and exercise. My home is completely child-free, and visiting pets are absolutely allowed on the furniture to make them feel right at home. Additionally, I live on the military base, making it easy and convenient for me to accommodate both on-base and off-base families. Whether your pet needs high-energy play or have specialized medical needs, they will be safe, active, and loved here! Animal care is a central part of my life! I work a flexible remote schedule that allows me to be fully available for full-time care. My weekends are available and open, meaning I can dedicate plenty of quality time, structured play, and consistent attention to boarding or housesitting your pets, no matter the day of the week 🐾❤️ With a professional background in veterinary medicine and animal handling, safety is always my top priority ❤️ My home features a fully fenced yard where your dog can safely play. I’m highly experienced in reading animal behavior, maintaining clean and secure environments, administering medications if needed, and keeping a watchful eye to ensure your pet is happy and relaxed.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have lived with roommates who had cats, and I love both! While I’m new to formal pet sitting, animals have always been a welcome part of my life. I’ll take the time to understand your pet’s personality, follow their familiar routines, and give them plenty of attention and care while you’re away. I'm currently waiting to start my full-time job so I have a lot of availability during the week and on weekends. I'm free pretty much anytime during those days to take care of your pets. I take the time to understand each pet’s needs and personality. If they want to play, I’m happy to play! If they’d rather relax, we can do that too. I’ll closely follow your feeding and walking instructions, whether that means taking quieter routes, walking at specific times, or using a particular leash or harness. While caring for your pets in your home, I’ll respect your space and follow your house rules, including any boundaries or routines for your pets.

About: I’ve been caring for animals ever since getting my first cat at the age of 4. Her name was muffin and she was all grey. I have never been without a pet since then. I have had one or more cats at all times in my life and currently also have a large dog, I am comfortable with feeding, playing, basic needs and giving medicine if necessary for cats and dogs. I take pride in my experiences and love of animals. I am currently a stay at home mom so I have several hours of free time during the day. As both kids go to school. Three times a week I clean at a gymnasium for 3 hours but other than that, I am mostly available all hours until 4pm when child activities began. I have blocks of time between 4pm-9pm on weekdays, navigating around children's sports and weekends are typically completely open. While visiting your home, I would respect all entrances and environments and aim to treat your home and pets the exact same way you would treat your space and pets. Listening carefully to your wishes and expectations to make sure your needs and your pets are met.

About: I have taken care of many family & friends dogs and cats (and other types of pets) over the years. I have never had an issue with even the unruly ones. I am able to gain an animals trust quickly and am intuitive on how to approach them & care for them. I have a special needs nephew that I am a Respite Careworker for, I help administer his medications and am confident I can administer meds to any animal as well. I have also been taking care of my disabled mom for the last few years and am a mother of 2 (new empty nester). I have a lot of patience and don't get upset with messes. Everything is washable in my opinion. Although I will keep your house as tidy as possible if I am House Sitting for you. I live in Santa Maria, but am available for pet/house sitting in any part of Santa Barbara or San Luis Counties depending on the day(s). I would consider traveling further on the weekends if I am able. I am a responsible & trustworthy person, who genuinely enjoys caring for others. I work from home on Mon & Fri, so I am only unavailable during the day on Tues/Wed/Thurs. I am able to care for animals in the morning before I leave for work and every evening. I recently lost my dog at the ripe old age of 17, I used to walk my dog every day, so I know all the good dog walking spots in the area. I love hiking as well, so if your dog is up for it, I am happy to take them hiking too. I work in conjunction with my partner who is home during the day, so if there is a need for more exercise, feedings or medication during the day, we can facilitate that. I enjoy the company of animals, so they would be included in everything I do, as much as possible. I used to take my dog everywhere with me. I prefer caring for pets in their own homes, only because they are more comfortable there. My place is not very big, so it depends on how much space they are used to. I can sit 2-3 dogs at a time if they are not too big. I have room for a crate, but not more than one. I do have a is fenced in yard with a locked gate.

About: I have grown up with pets of all sizes and temperaments my entire life. From dogs to horses to livestock, I am very calm around new animals, even if they may be a bit anxious with new people, pets, and places. I do have my own rescue pup, Río, who loves to get outside for adventures, loves other animals, and loves to be by my side whenever possible. Whether you are in need of pet sitting, exercising, a dog daycation, and/or housesitting with your beloved pet(s), my first choice is always to have Río come along so long as that is something with which you and your pet(s) will be comfortable and enjoy. I grew up on the Central Coast and love to be outdoors and adventuring whether through hikes, long walks, eating out on pet dates at the amazing restaurants nearby, trips to the off leash beaches, or more. If that’s not your pet(s)’ speed and/or favorite things, I am also very into cozying up with them on the sofa or whatever activities may be their favorites as well. If you are in need of care for your horses or livestock, whether while looking for a house sitter or other times, I have a lifetime of experience with horses and am very able to feed, muck, hotwalk, etc. while house sitting or on a drop-in basis. I have not been riding much since returning back to the Central Coast from SF but pending the temperament and experience level necessary, after learning to ride horses much around the same time I was learning to walk, I am always open for an easy ride if needed for your horse(s) as well. Just message me and we can discuss further! Please note, if you foresee last-minute requests for daycare, check-ins, and/or dog walking being necessary in the future, please reach out to schedule a formal meet and greet anytime in advance so we may know that the pups are a good match prior to any late bookings becoming necessary. For my safety and the safety of my dogs and yours, I will not accept last-minute check-ins or dog walking requests without this meet and greet completed. Río and I always make sure to take time to get outside to exercise, take potty breaks on grass, and explore daily with an hour-2.5+ hours hike in the mornings and an hour long walk/run after work. Río and I are ideally a package deal so any dog(s), cat(s), and/or whatever pet(s) you are in need of caring for and giving some love to, please advise if they are dog-friendly and enjoy a workout but also love a good lounge throughout the day. For potty breaks and a bit of engagement during the work day, I have a privately fenced yard to pop outside for some sunshine and ball play any time throughout the day and night.

About: Can’t wait to hang out with your pet. I’ll always make sure they have fun with me. I’d love dogs but I think it’s a big step and prefer to be a sitter for now It fits in because I have a lot of free time and I’d love to spend time with animals ! Also I really love that I can get out and exercise and I am adding that to my daily routine Making sure my home or clean and free of any harm to animals or any one really. I live near the beach. So it’s perfect for a walk and there is a dog park nearby

About: I love all animals, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs. I have been petsitting and walking dogs for over 10 years. As well as on going three years experience working at a Veterinary Hospital. I believe that it is important to take each dog's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I enjoy any kind of interaction I can get! I have a 10 year old Yorkie at home who loves to play fetch and goes wild with the word "walk". He provides me with lots of cuddling and laughs. My goal for every pet is to make them feel loved, cared, and appreciated for! I am currently working part time, so i'll have plenty of time playing with your pups! My hours are very flexible and I am easy to contact just shoot me a message. I am always aware of pets getting out so I make sure leashes are on and gates are closed before letting pets out of the house.

About: We had two corgis who lived long full lives walking them out at River Park or around our old Lompoc neighborhood was always special. I believe in keeping dogs close and nurturing them with positive reinforcement. I am training for half marathons again. Our dogs were my best running buddies. I like having a pet temporarily. I work as a realtor so I am in charge of my schedule. Taking and sending photos of your dogs' stays in progress is fun. I am very responsible. Our girl corgi was a 5 week old puppy when we got her. After we adopted the boy at 2 years old he was a 4H dog that we trained and learned to train for showing. Taking care of my BFF's cat and dog while she traveled for five to seven days in a few occasions was a special experience. Providing hospitality to pets in their home is my pleasure.
