About: Hi there! 👋 My name is Berenisse and I’m a Certified Basic Obedience Dog Trainer based in Buellton, CA. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and what started as a hobby has grown into my true passion. I bring a well-rounded background to pet care and training. I’ve worked as a vet tech and as a dog trainer’s assistant, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I also have some experience in dog agility training, which I love incorporating for fun and exercise when appropriate. My approach to training and care is rooted in positive reinforcement—building trust, respect, and clear communication with every dog. I believe all dogs deserve patience, love, and encouragement, and I enjoy tailoring my care to meet each pup’s unique needs. I’m also very active, so whether your dog needs structured training, a playful walk, or an energetic workout buddy, I’m happy to be there for them. More than anything, I truly understand how much dogs enrich our lives—and I treat every dog as if they were my own. 🐾 Loving care, respectful training, and lots of tail wags guaranteed! Most of the time I work from home, I do drive around some days and when I am caring for dogs I try to incorporate car rides, physical and mental activity to keep them happy, healthy and to provide a positive experience. They get constant walks, the dog park is a couple blocks away from my house and I do take advantage of that to make sure they get their daily physical and mental estimulation.

About: I have grown up with pets of all sizes and temperaments my entire life. From dogs to horses to livestock, I am very calm around new animals, even if they may be a bit anxious with new people, pets, and places. I do have my own rescue pup, Río, who loves to get outside for adventures, loves other animals, and loves to be by my side whenever possible. Whether you are in need of pet sitting, exercising, a dog daycation, and/or housesitting with your beloved pet(s), my first choice is always to have Río come along so long as that is something with which you and your pet(s) will be comfortable and enjoy. I grew up on the Central Coast and love to be outdoors and adventuring whether through hikes, long walks, eating out on pet dates at the amazing restaurants nearby, trips to the off leash beaches, or more. If that’s not your pet(s)’ speed and/or favorite things, I am also very into cozying up with them on the sofa or whatever activities may be their favorites as well. If you are in need of care for your horses or livestock, whether while looking for a house sitter or other times, I have a lifetime of experience with horses and am very able to feed, muck, hotwalk, etc. while house sitting or on a drop-in basis. I have not been riding much since returning back to the Central Coast from SF but pending the temperament and experience level necessary, after learning to ride horses much around the same time I was learning to walk, I am always open for an easy ride if needed for your horse(s) as well. Just message me and we can discuss further! Río and I always make sure to take time to get outside to exercise, take potty breaks on grass, and explore daily with an hour-2.5+ hours hike in the mornings and an hour long walk/run after work. Río and I are ideally a package deal so any dog(s), cat(s), and/or whatever pet(s) you are in need of caring for and giving some love to, please advise if they are dog-friendly and enjoy a workout but also love a good lounge throughout the day. For potty breaks and a bit of engagement during the work day, I have a privately fenced yard to pop outside for some sunshine and ball play any time throughout the day and night.

About: I love all animals, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs. I have been petsitting and walking dogs for over 10 years. As well as on going three years experience working at a Veterinary Hospital. I believe that it is important to take each dog's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I enjoy any kind of interaction I can get! I have a 10 year old Yorkie at home who loves to play fetch and goes wild with the word "walk". He provides me with lots of cuddling and laughs. I am always aware of pets getting out so I make sure leashes are on and gates are closed before letting pets out of the house.

During drop-ins or walks, I make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment based on their energy level and personality. I always refresh water, clean up any messes, and ensure your home is left exactly how I found it. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe and happy while you’re away.

My dogs are well behaved and we only have to crate one of them if any of us leave the house. We play music for them during the day to make the outside noises not so obvious. About: I've had dogs my whole life. Growing up we had a mix, then a German Shepherd. As an adult, we had an Australian Shepherd for 16 years. He grew up with our children and is sorely missed. I have experience caring for and administering medications. I love playing and walking dogs, I especially like hikes and walks on the beach. I work part time so my hours and days are flexible. My availability allows should allow plenty of time to take special care of your pet. I have a fenced yard and baby gates in my kitchen, so if home care is needed it is possible that I may care for your pet in my home.
