“Abby has stayed at our home to take care of our anxious dog Zoe twice now and both times went smoothly. Our dog does not like other dogs and we have some specific routines we follow to ensure we avoid encounters with other dogs and Abby is good about respecting that info and making sure Zoe is as comfortable as possible. She sent plenty of pics and updates so we knew Zoe was being well taken care of, and she went above and beyond a few times cleaning up some messes (vomit) our cats made on our bed. Our cats have automatic feeders and a water fountain and often avoid unfamiliar people so we never expect sitters to do much for them, but Abby took the time to check on them often and wash some bedding the cats puked on which was an unexpected courtesy. After each visit the house was probably cleaner than it was when we left it too. My wife and I somehow have way too much going on this summer and won't hesitate to reach out to Abby whenever we are looking for someone to watch Zoe while we're gone.”

My goal is always to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a flexible schedule, and my own dog, Harper! I'm currently in school and not working a traditional job, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. Whether it's daytime visits, overnight stays, or last-minute bookings, I’m able to accommodate a wide range of needs. I genuinely enjoy spending my time around animals, so integrating pet care into my daily life is something I look forward to, not something I have to fit in. My focus is on making sure each visit is safe, engaging, and tailored to the pet’s needs. During walks, I make sure dogs get the right level of exercise for their age, breed, and energy level, whether that’s a brisk walk or a more relaxed stroll with plenty of sniffing. I always prioritize leash safety and pay close attention to each dog’s comfort and behavior throughout the walk. For check-ins, I make sure pets are fed (if needed), have fresh water, get potty breaks, and receive lots of attention and playtime. I also take care to follow any specific instructions from the owner and always do a quick check around the home to ensure everything is as it should be. Communication is important to me, so I provide updates and photos after each visit to keep owners in the loop and at ease.
