About: Throughout my whole life, we have had small to medium dogs from puppies to now having a senior dog. I have experience in training puppies and ensuring care such as creating medicine schedules for our senior dog. I can be as energetic as your puppies to having snuggle time with the old dogs. As of now, my family in Colorado has 3 dogs including two Pomeranian pups and one 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier. I have also taken care of Beagles, Shih Tzus, Border Collies, and Australian Shepherds. I am going into my last year of graduate school at the University of Utah. This summer I am not in school and do not start back up till the 18th of August so I have something extra time to take care of your pups. So I will be free almost everyday to watch and take care of your loving pets. I am currently living in an apartment in Holladay, UT with my husband. We live right next to various parks and whether your pet needs to go on walks daily, needs higher care such as giving medicine, or just needs help with crate training or potty training, I can ensure to love your pets with the highest of care.

About: I've had pets all my life and I lived on a farm for 18 years. I've taken care of cats, dogs, rodents, birds, fish, horses, cows, goats and pigs. I love any animal and will take care of yours as if it were mine. I am looking for a part time job to supplement my income but also because my daughter just left and took her Aussie with her. I have 3 cats and love them dearly but I miss having a dog. I don't want to own a dog myself so I have flexibility in travel but I would like to interact with dogs and other cats. Kind of seems like a perfect thing for me to do since I have the time and the experience.

About: I always bring good energy, patience, love and respect for all animals. I have had experience caring for two litters of puppies that my English Springer Spaniel had until they were adopted out. Together, my girlfriend and I have 3 dogs. They are like our children-extremely spoiled. Walks everyday, homemade food and treats, very well pampered, and given around the clock attention. Romeo, our Aussie mix, has Pannus and needs administered eye drops twice a day. Our senior dog, Abrams, has Addison's disease and needs daily medication as well as a monthly steroid shot. I am very comfortable handling dogs with medical conditions. It is a dream of ours to one day have a dog sanctuary. We hope to one day be able to make the world a better place and create a safe space for many dogs and animals. I have an open schedule during the week except Sunday (depending on the time). I have been a chef for the past 20 years, but have decided I want to change careers to something more meaningful like working with animals. I take safety for my pets very seriously. My dogs are walked every single day and get lots of mental stimulation. I take a lot of pride in the way my dogs are treated and hold myself to the same standard with anyone else's fur baby. I will always make sure that your pet is comfortable and relaxed while they wait for you!

About: I’ve been an animal lover all my life! I’ve always owned a pet until recently, I lost my rescued English Bulldog. I miss him so much and since I’m not ready to get another one just yet, that leaves some time to give your pet extra attention! I have over 8 years of volunteer and foster experience at local shelters and have been involved in the adoption of over 100 dogs and cats. You can trust that your furry friend is in capable, compassionate hands when they’re with me. I currently have a full time job working Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm but I’ll still make sure your pet gets full time love and attention. I would prefer to stay within the Salt Lake City area but I am willing to drive 25 to 50 miles. I have a fenced back yard where your pet can lounge. No kids or pets in my home. I have a vehicle so transporting them to the park will be no issue.

About: I've taken care of everything from dogs and cats to reptiles, rodents, and invertebrates! On top of growing up with a small army of Jack Russels and having my own dog (an anxious Italian Greyhound), I also frequently drop in on and walk my friend's Lab. I have the least experience with birds, though I have still pet-sat a couple! I also have experience administering oral medication and providing palliative care. My day-to-day varies but is typically very free as I care for my brothers in the mornings and evenings and have volunteering shifts on Mondays. I am usually only completely unavailable on Mondays! My highest priority is always the safety and comfort of your pets, and I treat them as though they're my own. I'm extremely careful about things like bloat and have a strict timer for food and water before and after exercise/playtime. In general, I am extremely careful, but put lots of time and effort into making sure your little (or big) guys have fun!

“Melanie is amazing 🤩 she is so great with my dog and he is much more calm after his walks! She is always on time and takes lots of photos. I definitely trust her with my fur baby and don’t have to worry!”

“I know my dogs are safe and loved when they are with Bridgette! It’s so relieving knowing that while I’m at work my dogs are getting exercise and love and attention. I can be open with her about what’s going on medically with them and she provides another set of eyes to track and document.”

“I am so blessed to have found Kallie. She is amazing w/ my 5 month old puppy Emma and Emma really enjoys her walks and spending time with Kallie! Kallie keeps me updated with pictures of Emma and informs me of their activities. I highly recommend Kallie if you need a responsible and respectful pet sitter, she's the one and my ho-to!”

About: I have a few years experience looking after all kinds of dogs; from the elderly, to injured, to dogs needing specific diets or medication. I have also looked after cats and reptiles before! I teach special education kids during summer school this year, which goes from Tues-Thurs from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM every week. Because of this lighter work-load I'll be able to flexibly work with almost any pet-care schedule needed! I will care for and treat your pets as if they were my own; with all of the love and routine that they need. I will follow any and all instructions you need for your pet; including walk schedules, dietary and medicinal needs, and sleep times.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, from my own labs and dachshund growing up, to pets of family and friends. Whether it’s puppies or seniors, small dogs or large breeds, I bring the same level of care, patience, and commitment to all. I have experience with potty training, leash manners, and creating a safe, loving, and fun environment for every dog I look after. Your dog’s happiness and safety are always my top priorities! It is also worth noting that I am physically capable and comfortable of handling larger dogs dog breeds but all are welcome! I work a 3 day work week—Thursday through Saturday—all other days of the week I am free unless otherwise indicated. I spend most of my free time out in nature, whether it’s walking, running or hiking! I live in a spacious townhome with a fenced-in yard, perfect for safe outdoor time. I’m also just steps away from a large park that I visit regularly. As the weather heats up, I stay especially mindful of hydration and overheating. Your pup will get plenty of exercise, water, and just as importantly, cool indoor breaks to stay safe and comfortable in the Utah sun.
