“We've used Laura twice now to watch our two cats and she is the best! She's friendly, reliable, thoughtful, and takes the time to locate our scaredy cat that is usually hiding. I highly highly recommend Laura!”

“Star sitter is an understatement. Just from reading Jillian’s reviews, I knew my cat would be in good hands even without meeting her (last minute trip), and yet she still went above and beyond. My cat threw up a few times and she cleaned it up like it was nothing, washed the dirty dishes from my cat, brought in a package, etc. Couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Erin did a fantastic job watching my cat while I was gone on the weekend. She carefully followed all of my instructions and asked questions if she wasn't sure of something. She sent me pictures of my cat both days I was gone. I think she has a nice way with animals and will use her again. Convenient having her in Huntersville.”

“Cheri was great with our four kitties while we were away! I specifically mentioned one of our cats being prone to accidents outside the box and she very kindly noted in her daily updates whether or not there was a mess to clean up which I really appreciated, and provided pictures of the kitties with each visit :)”

“Caitlyn and Sam were so great with my dog and truly treated him like family! My dog can be a handful so having a sitter who enjoys him as much as I do is very important. I will definitely use them again!”

“McCall did great with our young cat while we were away for a week. She was easy and quick to communicate with. She followed all instructions and our cat Loki was happy and well taken care of. We would definitely hire her again the next time we had out of town.”

“Renee is awesome! When we needed a last minute sitter for our 2 cats (one being on a diet requiring specific feeding times) she came to the rescue. She was very responsive, great with our boys, and kept our minds at ease! Would absolutely recommend her!”

“Tom was a superstar with our newly adopted, very shy 6 month old puppy. We only had the pup 2 weeks when Tom agreed to help us with a “let out” for crate training. This was not an easy task as the pup was still adjusting to his new home. Tom had patience and understanding with our pup and we appreciated it more than he knows. Tom was trustworthy and very attentive to the needs of our pup. His communication was stellar as well. We highly recommend Tom!!!!”

“Paula was amazing!!! She watched our four cats for five day, and sent daily updates and pictures. We came home to happy kitties. I definitely recommend her to care for your fur babies. We will certainly book again.”

“We are first time cat parents and first time Rover users and Carleen did an excellent job taking care of our cat while we traveled for the holidays. We will definitely use her again for future cat sittings.”

“Kiara took care of our two cats for a few days while we were out of town, and I was impressed by her communicativeness, diligence, flexibility, and care. She was very responsive, and she took excellent care of our house, too. We came home to a clean house and two cats who were given lots of love while we were gone. Our super shy cat Gus was snuggling with Kiara by the end of her stay--which is certainly Gus's stamp of approval. Thank you, Kiara”

About: Growing up, my family always had pets in the house so I've been an animal lover literally since the day I was born! Since I was around 12 years old, I have been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for friends and family, so I have roughly 15 years of experience caring for other people's furry and scaly family members! I've personally had dogs, cats, and guinea pigs all throughout my life and I've also helped roommates and neighbors care for pets of all kinds. Over the years, I've learned how to feed, administer medications, and recognize behavior patterns for all the animals I've cared for and am always eager to learn more! I currently have a senior, rescue pup named Ravioli and a 7 year old guinea pig named Stitch. My pets are my world, so I understand the need to find quality, reliable care for your babies and would love to provide that peace of mind for you. I'm currently an art teacher at a local public high school and previously worked as a playroom attendant at a doggie daycare for 3 years. Because of this, I have a lot of experience working with dogs of all ages/sizes/breeds/temperaments and have learned a lot about dog behavior, basic first aid, and standard "spa" treatment like bathing, nail, ear, and teeth care. From shy and anxious to bouncing off the walls with excitement, I've worked with and loved them all, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in great hands! I also worked as a summer camp director and instructor for over 5 years, teaching classes that include small animal care, outdoor adventure skills, and swim and water safety among other things. I am first aid certified and LOVE to go on adventures outdoors, especially with a pup or two in tow! I'm more than happy to meet your pet at the activity level that best fits them, whether that means going on long, exciting walks or lounging in the shade! All that to say, I've never met an animal that I didn't love, so I would love to meet you and your pets, no matter their size or species! I am currently a full time art teacher at a local public high school, so I am currently out on summer break and looking for ways to fill my time. Until school starts back, I am available at almost any day at any time to check in on your pets or take them for walks! While I don't offer services in my own home, I would be happy to check in on your pets in your home! I've been a pet sitter/walker since I was 12 years old, so I have a lot of experience working with pets in other people's homes. The safety of your pets and home are of utmost importance to me! I always double and triple check that all crates/cages and doors are locked, and all else restored to its original state prior to leaving. This includes refilling food and water if needed, turning on or off lights to your preference, and cleaning up after pets should any accidents occur. I am also happy to transport pets in my car to go to appointments, daycare, or on fun adventures! I keep my vehicle clean and orderly at all times, so there is limited opportunity for pets to get into something they shouldn't. I also ensure your pets' safety by making sure they are safely secured before starting the vehicle and by driving with caution and control at all times.
