About: We have been together for more than 5 years and share our home with beloved pets. Growing up, Dirk was a vet tech, and his mother, a veterinarian, raised over 15 animals. Mari grew up with a sweet Yorkie. Thanks to our backgrounds, we have extensive experience with pets. To us, pets are more than just animals—they are our children. We will always treat your furry family members with the exact same love and respect that we show our own. While we are currently experiencing an empty nest and missing that daily companionship, we would love the opportunity to care for your pets, meet your needs, and share our love. Our 15-year-old son is in high school and always up for an adventure, while Mari is a stay-at-home mom from Japan who has plenty of time to dedicate to your pet's needs. Because we all love animals, pet care will be a true family team effort! Dirk loves to give plenty of affection, but he is also happy to play rough-and-tumble if your dog prefers active play. Our home features a fully enclosed, 1/3-acre backyard where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air and playtime. We also have access to great nearby walking areas for pets who love to get out and explore. Our family can easily adapt to various activity levels, personalities, and daily routines.
About: I grew up taking care of dogs, cats, horses and more. I have had my own family dogs over the years, Trooper for 16 years and Rusty for 14 years. I have cared for friend's dogs, big and small, and my grand dogs for a day or even 1 month. I have experience with older dogs as well as puppies.
