Hi, I’m Kimberly! I’m so happy you’re here! If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I absolutely love dogs. I’ve always had a heart for them. Caring for dogs isn’t just what I do it’s what brings me the most joy. Whether they’re playful puppies, goofy teenagers, or sweet seniors, I truly love getting to know every dog’s unique personality and making them feel safe, loved, and right at home. I started Kim’s Dog House in 2017 with one simple goal: to create the kind of place I’d feel completely comfortable leaving my own dog. A place that feels safe, fun, clean, and as close to home as possible. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for hundreds of dogs of every breed, size, personality, and age. From young puppies learning how to socialize, to energetic adults who love to play, to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and TLC, every dog is cared for like they’re part of our own family. I also have experience caring for dogs with special needs, including administering medications, injections, special diets, mobility assistance, and individualized care. Every dog is different, and I truly enjoy learning what makes each one happy and comfortable. At the end of the day, Kim’s Dog House is exactly what I hoped it would be a place where dogs are treated like family, tails are wagging, and owners have complete peace of mind knowing their pups are safe, happy, and loved. One thing that’s always been important to me is creating more than just a dog daycare. I wanted a place where dogs are excited to come, where they get plenty of exercise, attention, rest, and affection, and where owners can leave knowing their best friend is in loving, experienced hands. Our home was designed with that in mind. We have spacious, fully fenced outdoor play yards, separate indoor playrooms, and dedicated areas that allow us to group dogs based on their size, age, personality, and play style. This helps keep everyone safe while making sure every dog has friends they enjoy spending the day with.

Tell Me All About Your Fur Babe! 🐾 The more I know about your pup, the better I can make them feel right at home! Here’s what I’d love to know before their stay: * ❤️ Their favorite things (toys, treats, games, belly rubs… tell me everything!) and anything they don’t enjoy. * 🐶 Their personality! Are they outgoing, shy, goofy, independent, a professional squirrel watcher, or the life of the party? * 😊 Any funny habits, little quirks, or behaviors I should know about (the good, the silly, and the “I’d probably mention this” kind!). * 💊 Any allergies, medications, medical conditions, or special care instructions. * 🍽️ Their normal daily routine, including feeding schedule, potty breaks, nap times, and anything else that helps them feel at home. * 🛋️ What they’re used to at home, are they allowed on furniture, do they enjoy car rides, are they crate trained, do they sleep with a blanket, or have any favorite routines? * 🩺 A copy of their current vaccination records and your veterinarian’s contact information. For the safety of all of our furry guests, all dogs must: * ✔️ Be current on their Rabies vaccination. * ✔️ Be on a veterinarian-recommended flea and tick preventative. * ✔️ Arrive happy, healthy, and ready to have a great time! (Special health needs are able to be accomodated)
A typical day
When your dog is here, they’re part of our pack. Their day is filled with supervised play, outdoor time in our fully fenced yards, indoor playrooms, enrichment activities, nap breaks, belly rubs, and plenty of one-on-one attention. We group dogs by size, personality, age, and play style so everyone is safe, comfortable, and having the best day possible. Our boarding experience is built the same way. I never wanted boarding to feel like dropping your dog off at a kennel. I wanted it to feel like a fun sleepover with people who genuinely love them. We do everything we can to keep your dog’s routine as normal as possible while giving them lots of playtime, attention, cuddles, and personalized care. I like to think of it as a little vacation for your dog. One of the best compliments we receive is when dogs come running through the door, barely looking back to say goodbye because they’re so excited to be here. When you leave your dog with us, you’re trusting us with a member of your family, and that’s something I’ll NEVER take for granted. My promise is to care for every dog the same way I’d want someone to care for my own, with patience, kindness, experience, and LOTS of love.

Pet care experience
For me, this has never been just dog sitting. I truly love getting to know every dog that comes through my doors, their personality, their quirks, and what makes them happiest. With years of hands-on experience caring for puppies, seniors, and dogs with special medical needs, my goal has always been simple: to create a home-away-from-home where dogs are treated like family and owners can leave knowing their best friend is in caring, experienced hands.

Kim did a fantastic job of taking care of our Oakley ! She came when she was supposed to and was very attentive , and loving with our dog Oakley and also very trustworthy. I would highly recommend her and would rehire her if ever we needed a dog sitter in the future. We were very happy with her!
Kimberly is wonderful! We entrusted her with our 4 lb Yorkie, Winnie, for the weekend while we were in town for a wedding. She was excellent with her communication and flexible with our drop-off time on the day of the wedding. She followed all our instructions for Winnie and took such great care of her. I would highly recommend her to care for your furry loved ones. XOMB
Kimberly was a lifesaver! I had an emergency situation where I needed someone to watch my dog Brody on very short notice, and she responded within 20 minutes that same morning. She was so accommodating and easy to communicate with throughout. She sent photos and videos of Brody playing, which gave me total peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. Highly recommend Kimberly to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive sitter who genuinely cares about the pups in her care!
