About: Hi! My name is Micayla! I’m 25 years old and just moved to the city of Milwaukee in June. I live in the Yankee Hill area and am an Elementary Ed teacher. This summer I am completing my masters online and take lots of breaks throughout the day to explore the city. I’ve owned dogs my whole life (sadly lost my fur baby back in November) and have plenty of experience pet sitting. I’m looking to start my journey on Rover by combining my two favorite pastimes which are going for walks and petting dogs! My hours during the week are super flexible, as I am only doing online schooling this summer! I am an early riser and am usually up with the sun at 6 and can take breaks whenever. I genuinely just love being around dogs and will protect them like they’re my own. I enjoy walking them on a leash or playing with them at the park (if they are trained off a leash)!

About: I have been passionate about animals, big and small, my entire life! I have volunteered at humane societies, fostered animals in need, cared for the pets of family members and friends, interned at AZA-accredited zoos, and worked at wildlife sanctuaries. Currently I am a full-time licensed wildlife rehabilitator caring for injured and orphaned Wisconsin wildlife with the goal of releasing them back into the wild, but I have previously worked with a variety of domestic animals both in my personal and in my professional life. I am well versed in animal behavior, body language, and positive reinforcement. I promise to treat (and spoil) your pets like they are my own! At the moment I have 3 sweet cats, a high-energy dog, a mischievous chinchilla, and a gentleman of a ball python! Please do not hesitate to reach out and get to know me more! I currently work 4 days of the week at my full time job so I am only available select days. I am eager to spend time with your pets, however, so if my schedule shows I am unavailable, please reach out anyway as I try to be as flexible as possible! It is extremely important to me to use Fear Free tactics when interacting with any animal. Gaining the trust of you and your pet are my top priority!

“Genesis is everything you’d want in someone taking care of your pet! She was amazing with my senior dog and was a fantastic communicator too! I would highly recommend her services to anyone and will definitely be seeing her again soon! Thanks Genesis :)”

“She did great Hunter came back as a very happy girl”

“Samantha is excellent and reliable dog walker. She was able to assist our French Bulldog on daily walks while I was out teaching all day! Will definitely use her again if I need her!”

About: I recently adopted my own dog as a puppy during the pandemic and have been a proud dog mom ever since! Besides my own dog I have experience with walking extended families dogs and caring for my friends dog while they were out of town. I'm looking to use the skills and experience I have gained to care for other pets in my neighborhood! I'm currently a new grad school student at UWM (go panthers) so my schedule has a bit of flexibility to it. I have classes in the evenings at the moment and would prefer to do morning walks during the week or anytime during the weekend! While at a clients home I am very attentive to their pet and its needs and make sure to give it the same love and care as I would my own!

“I had Becky walk my six month old puppy for a couple of weeks and she was great! She provided lots of photos and a detailed update after each visit. I highly recommend her!”

About: i’ve walked dogs for two years in high school and grew up in a family with a lot of dogs. Over the summer I babysat my extended families dogs and I babysat up to 6 dogs at a time. I’m home for a limited time before I go back to college but during the week and afternoons on the weekend I’m pretty much free until i leave on January 7th all of my pets were trained by learning and teaching with a reward system as opposed to discipline or any physical action taken against the animal. When I work for you, your rules become my rules when I’m taking care of your pet and entering your home.

“Jan was very responsive to our request to walk our 65 lb golden retriever. At our initial meeting with Jan, I could tell that he would be in good hands! I appreciated her feedback about the walks. I would use Jan again!”

“Jeff is a very experienced dog walker that does great with my 120 lbs Rottweiler. I would definitely recommend him to anyone especially owners of large breed dogs.”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. Whether it was taking care of my own dog, or pet sitting for family friends, I have always loved working and caring for animals. I adore going on long walks with my own dog, and being able to help out others when they need their pets to be taken care of! I am confident in taking care of animals of any size, and will not hesitate to do my best to assure the pets the care they need. Currently, I am an incoming college student looking to save up for college. Right now I am living at home and am on summer break, so my schedule is always open! I’m available to take care of pets at any time of the day. I believe its important to build trust with the pet, and give them a place where they can feel safe. I try to listen and observe the behaviors of the pets, but also make sure that I am following the directions given to me by the owners. When meeting a new pet, I always approach them in a way that won’t scare them off, and furthermore when getting to know them, I try to comfort them and make sure that they feel confident around me. Its very important to me that the pet will not be afraid to go on walks with me, eat around me, or approach me during the time that I come to take care of them.

About: I currently work part time as a dog bather, so I have a lot of experience handling dogs and reading their body language. I would love to meet your dog! I have plenty of time to play with your dog! Open almost anytime to board or house sit and can check on your dog depending on my work schedule. I would love to spoil your dog! I love dogs so much and treat yours as if it’s my own. I’m also good with dog body language so I can tell when your needs space, wants attention etc.

About: I am a part time college student. I am going to school to get my ECE Degree. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 by volunteering at humane societies and having my own dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycares throughout Florida and Wisconsin. I love all dogs like they are my children. I would love to own my own rescue center but as of now I want to gain more experience with taking care of different breeds and just express my love of animals to the world. I hope that you choose me to be a temporary parent for your dog and that he or she is in perfect hands and will feel at home. Thank you. Hopefully we speak soon. I work third shift for Target and dog sit during the day. I make sure they are taken out three-four times and feed twice a day. I care for them like they are children. Go on walks, feed, cuddle. Run like crazy and crash from exhaustion. I also love getting to know the dogs personality.

About: I have experience with a variety of pets including foster pets, energetic pets, and pets who require a trusting relationship with their caregivers. Dogs and cats are my favorite and I know how important they are to their families. I am an incoming first year medical student at the University of Wisconsin looking to support families and their pets during this busy summer season! I am excited to meet each of my clients needs where they are. I have schedule flexibility and can work around you and your pet’s preferences and habits.

About: I have taken care of my own dog for 8 years, including: walking, feeding, training, and playing. I have dog sat and walked dogs for friends and family. I have a pretty free summer with volunteer work throughout and visits to grandparents on some weekends. I am available to walk dogs and house sit during the day after 11 AM. I cater to the clients’ requests for what their dog needs and I care for their pet in a friendly way. While either dog walking or dog sitting, I am a trustworthy person to be taking care of your dog.

About: I've taken care of dogs for around 5 years now and I enjoy taking them out on walks. I find dog walks calming and can take several hour long walks if needed. What I love to do best on my breaks is spend time with my dog, giving him walks. So I always have plenty of time to take care of pets. I can easily cater to your dog's needs when it comes to walks and house sitting. Just tell me how to typically take care of your dog and I'll do exactly that.

About: I've been in pet care professionally for over 4 years, and before rover I worked for a grooming salon. I have all the patience and experience to keep your mind at ease and pet happy ☺️ thank you for considering me to watch after your furry baby! Pet care is my main focus and passion, your pet will get round the clock care and attention as pet care is my career and passion in life ☺️ Safety is a must in my home, so I take extra care to make sure everything is picked up and tidy along with having my own pet adjacent first aid kit on hand.

Reagan F.
“Just got an English Lab puppy, teething like hell and super energetic. My husband and I were nervous about letting him around new people because of how much attention he requires, but Reagan did great! She’s officially on speed dial since Hubby and I are over him nibbling on our ankles every time we try to take a walk. Reagan is always there to save the day!”

Camila S.
“I have had the pleasure of having my dog walked by Camila numerous times in the past and I am incredibly impressed with her professionalism, athleticism, and her friendly disposition. Being the owner of a very active dog, it’s often difficult for me to find individuals who are capable/willing to take my dog on long walks in order to tire him out. Every single time Camila has walked my dog, he has come home tired and ready to lay around the rest of the day while I work or relax! I highly recommend Camila to other dog owners and I know you will be just as pleased with her results as I am!”

Adrianna H.
“Adrianna is an amazing dog sitter. When I travel out of town, I call her every time to watch my babes(2 dogs) for me. My dogs can be a bit rambunctious(a border collie, age 2 & an old English, age 1) , but they are sweet dogs; she’s mastered being kind, and gaining their trust for her. I have no doubt in my mind that they are under some of the best care when I leave them with her. Highly recommend her as a sitter.”

Emily M.
“Emily is a very caring person and has always been great with dogs. She has taken care of my dog many times and my dog is always excited to see her come back.”

We have a busy scheduled, and so Patrick has helped by taking our dog on walks whenever needed. Patrick also makes sure our dog is fed and has adequate water while we're away.
