About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all my life and finally got my own pup in 2023. I love all breeds, sizes and ages and cater my care specific to every dog’s needs. I am very patient and keep up with guidelines and research to ensure I’m doing my best as a dog mom and carer of animals in a daily basis. Full time pet sitter, meaning I’m home all day with flexibility every day. I love getting my steps in, so I am more than happy to take your pup on long walks! While boarding or daycare with me, your dog will join me and Killian on our walks, get treats, lick mats (with your consent of course) and cuddles. I am a trustworthy person who treats every being and environment like her own. I understand animal’s body language and barks/growls and will ensure their safety and comfort. Im an introvert, so I stay home most days and when I do step out, it’s only for a few hours and I do have a pet camera to keep an eye on the doggos. I love dogs and cats of all sizes and am able to handle big dogs on walks as my boy is 80lbs. I prioritize their safety, comfort and enrichment. I live near Roverwest, so just lmk if you’re comfortable with me taking your dog over!

About: I have had experience caring for many different kinds of animals throughout my life, such as dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and fish. I am comfortable and confident with walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I am a full-time grad student, and I also work a part-time job. My schedule is a little different each weekday, sometimes with breaks in the middle of the day. I am available all day on the weekends. I do not currently care for any pets in my home. I am not currently accepting jobs that require a pet to stay in my home.

“I needed a walker yesterday because I couldn’t be physically away from my home, so I was there when Andrew arrived. He texted when he was on his way, arrived promptly, and spent a couple of extra minutes greeting Rosie, on her level, letting her check him out and get comfortable with him - I was pleased. When they were out walking, a friend happened to see them and called me to tell me that she was impressed with how patient and gentle he was with her. He obviously made a positive impression on Rosie because she was very excited when he returned in the afternoon for her 2nd walk. I will definitely use Andrew for my future needs.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always loved caring for them. I have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, and giving them lots of attention. I’m reliable, patient, and will always treat your pets like they’re my own. I also have pets of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for them! I have a pretty flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and pet sitting. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and am happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet’s normal routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, or house rules. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and care while keeping you updated with pictures and messages so you know they’re safe and happy.

“I’m so glad I found Jan on Rover! She is a great dog walker. When she came and met our puppy prior to her first walk I could tell she is a big dog lover. Her job is flexible so she is able to be flexible with coming over as well. Great at communicating about the walk/playtime. Our puppy had a stomach bug and she kindly cleaned up his accidents when she came over. I also overbooked her and unfortunately had to cancel a few walks. She was very nice about it. About: My dog care history began when I was in middle school and became caretaker for my family dog, Charlie (a Shiba inu mix). I have walked and cared for dogs of many different sizes and all ages both in my personal life and professionally. I have over 3 years if experience at doggy daycares. In my personal life I have cared for my dilute tortie Smokie for 7 of her 8 years. I have also cared for reptiles and amphibians at the Urban Ecology Center and am trained to handle snapping turtles. I love animals of all kinds. I work part time and currently have a very open availability. I am willing to work weekends and holidays. Please ask me if I'm available! I believe in the importance of safety, health, and enrichment. Your animals needs - both physical and emotional - are a priority to me. I put in the time and effort your animal deserves.

About: I don't actually call myself that, that's what my friends say I am. I've literally never met a dog I didn't get on famously with. I respect the fact that they are individuals with their own needs. I don't mean to sound too self assured with the title, but I earned it from friends. Whether it's running on the Lake Michigan shore or just finding a nice sunny spot to sit for a while, your pup is going to have a fulfilling day. I have huge flexibility so no worries! A last minute trip or planned weeks in advance, we can work something out. I'm here for you! Even same day! I strive for communication as much as possible between animal and human. If they're not feeling like socializing, I don't force anything. Everyone has different needs. My experience in a dog daycare really helped me read and understand dog body language to head off any issues that may arise when you're watching 12 dogs.

About: I am a part time college student. I am going to school to get my ECE Degree. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 by volunteering at humane societies and having my own dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycares throughout Florida and Wisconsin. I love all dogs like they are my children. I would love to own my own rescue center but as of now I want to gain more experience with taking care of different breeds and just express my love of animals to the world. I hope that you choose me to be a temporary parent for your dog and that he or she is in perfect hands and will feel at home. Thank you. Hopefully we speak soon. I work third shift for Target and dog sit during the day. I make sure they are taken out three-four times and feed twice a day. I care for them like they are children. Go on walks, feed, cuddle. Run like crazy and crash from exhaustion. I also love getting to know the dogs personality.

About: I helped raise my own two family dogs and ensured that they were always walked, bathed, fed, and happy. It's also a habit of mine to go take the extra step like wiping my dogs and make sure they are clean after they've been outside. I've also taken care of my neighbor's dogs alongside our own family dogs, so I have experience handling multiple pets at once. I work full-time, Monday through Friday, while working from home 2-3 days a week. I also go to workout classes in the evening. Normally, if working from home, I take the dogs out for a walk in the morning. On other days, I take them for a walk in the evening. I normally take pets out 3 times a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and night. I make sure the dogs have a dedicated spot for food and bed. I have both a park and a dog park, 5-10 minutes away from my apartment, which I can take the pets to for a walk or some dog play time. There are also multiple yard-like grass areas where the dogs are meant to do their business. If pets stay with me for longer than two weeks, I bathe them every other week.
