About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all my life and finally got my own pup in 2023. I love all breeds, sizes and ages and cater my care specific to every dog’s needs. I am very patient and keep up with guidelines and research to ensure I’m doing my best as a dog mom and carer of animals in a daily basis. I’m currently between jobs and have flexibility every day. I love getting my steps in, so I am more than happy to take your pup on long walks and will happily provide drop in visits. I am a trustworthy person who treats every being and environment like her own. I understand animal’s body language and barks/growls and will ensure their safety and comfort. I love dogs and cats of all sizes and am able to handle big dogs on walks as my boy is 80lbs. I live near Roverwest, so just lmk if you’re comfortable with me taking your dog over!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and love them so much that I decided to work at a Dog and Cat daycare and boarding facility. I’ve been working there for 3 years and have worked with all breeds and ages varying from puppies to seniors and love comforting them and making them happy while also making sure their parents know they are in good hands! I’m currently working part-time and my availability is flexible. I’m willing to make adjustments as long as I am notified at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Depending on the typical routine of the pet, I will follow it as close as possible to make them feel as comfortable as I can. I will keep them busy by going on walks or by playing with them, or if they have lower energy I’ll just make sure to give them extra attention.

He texted when he was on his way, arrived promptly, and spent a couple of extra minutes greeting Rosie, on her level, letting her check him out and get comfortable with him - I was pleased. When they were out walking, a friend happened to see them and called me to tell me that she was impressed with how patient and gentle he was with her. He obviously made a positive impression on Rosie because she was very excited when he returned in the afternoon for her 2nd walk. I will definitely use Andrew for my future needs.”

About: I have had experience caring for many different kinds of animals throughout my life, such as dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and fish. I am comfortable and confident with walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I am a full-time grad student, and I also work a part-time job. My schedule is a little different each weekday, sometimes with breaks in the middle of the day. I am available all day on the weekends. I do not currently care for any pets in my home. I am not currently accepting jobs that require a pet to stay in my home.

About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I am an experienced dog owner, as I've had my own pup for near 6 years now. I have a strong background caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels. I grew up helping my grandma, who was a Samoyed breeder, so I've been around dogs my entire life and learned early on how to properly care for them. I've had my Aussie since he was 8 weeks, which has made me very comfortable with high-energy breeds and understand how important exercise, attention, and mental stimulation are. Whether your dog needs a quick drop-in, a walk, or just some extra attention during the day, I'll make sure they're not just checked on, but truly cared for and engaged with. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, even for a short time. I focus on making sure your dog feels safe & comfortable. I am currently offering evening availability on the weekdays starting at 6:30pm Thursday/Friday, and flexible scheduling on Saturday's/Sunday's for drop-ins & walks. I treat every dog like my own and can't wait to meet you and your pup! I am currently working a full-time job, 8am-5pm. I know this creates limited availability, but I am willing to fit in drop-ins and walks after 6:30pm during the weekdays, and will have flexible availability on the weekend. I take my dog on two 30 minutes walks everyday, on top of playing fetch often, & providing training on basics daily. I practice off-leash in areas where it is allowed. I feed morning and evening for my dog, provide lots of cuddles and affection, and make sure play time is priority. That can be through basic training, scent games, DIY puzzles, and running in the park! As for crate training, I did it for a year but have no moved to allowing my dog to snooze next to my bed every night. This set him up for success and created trust between him and I. I focus on trust with my dog 100% of the time, and understand his needs and wants daily. The bond between your pet is so important so I want to make sure I bring that same energy to your pet!

About: We have cared for our neighbors dogs and cats, family members and of course our own fur babies. We have fed, with special diets and followed schedules for feeding. We have bottle fed and also of course we give treats. Everyone needs treats! We have bathe puppies and partially groomed them. We love to teach new tricks and take longs walks. We love to play with them and give them the attention they need. The hours listed are the hours that I am home, as well as my teenagers. We're home daily so there will be more than enough love to go around. We have a flexible schedule. We have a large open wide yard for your fur babies to play and do activities. We also have a friendly fur baby to keep your fur baby company.

About: I am a part time college student. I am going to school to get my ECE Degree. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 by volunteering at humane societies and having my own dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycares throughout Florida and Wisconsin. I love all dogs like they are my children. I would love to own my own rescue center but as of now I want to gain more experience with taking care of different breeds and just express my love of animals to the world. I work third shift for Target and dog sit during the day. I make sure they are taken out three-four times and feed twice a day. I care for them like they are children. Go on walks, feed, cuddle. Run like crazy and crash from exhaustion. I also love getting to know the dogs personality.

About: I am a true animal lover at heart! My family always owned dogs growing up, I adopted my own, Bear, in 2017 and my cat Luna (aka Tuna) in 2021. After recently losing Bear unexpectedly, I’m hoping to help heal my heart and get some puppy love by offering walks and drop-in visits to your babies! Prior to adopting Luna, I offered in-home boarding for many years through Rover. Unfortunately she’s not a fan of having other dogs around, otherwise we’d still be offering that service. I also worked at a doggy daycare during college because I loved dogs so much, and I wanted to spend time with them even though I couldn't get one at the time. This obviously provided me with lots of experience in handling multiple dogs! I promise to love your furbaby like my own and provide lots of pictures and updates :) I work remotely on Monday/Thursday/Friday so I’m available for drop-ins or walks during the workday! Would love to arrange regular services over lunch time. As some who believes that pets are family, I promise to do everything in my power to keep your pets safe under my care. When I have hired Rover services myself, I love to receive lots of pictures and updates from my sitters, so I promise to do the same for you!

“I’m so glad I found Jan on Rover! She is a great dog walker. When she came and met our puppy prior to her first walk I could tell she is a big dog lover. Her job is flexible so she is able to be flexible with coming over as well. Great at communicating about the walk/playtime. Our puppy had a stomach bug and she kindly cleaned up his accidents when she came over. I also overbooked her and unfortunately had to cancel a few walks. She was very nice about it. I will definitely be using her again! I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. Whether it was taking care of my own dog, or pet sitting for family friends, I have always loved working and caring for animals. I adore going on long walks with my own dog, and being able to help out others when they need their pets to be taken care of! I am confident in taking care of animals of any size, and will not hesitate to do my best to assure the pets the care they need. Currently, I am an incoming college student looking to save up for college. Right now I am living at home and am on summer break, so my schedule is always open! I’m available to take care of pets at any time of the day. I believe its important to build trust with the pet, and give them a place where they can feel safe. I try to listen and observe the behaviors of the pets, but also make sure that I am following the directions given to me by the owners. When meeting a new pet, I always approach them in a way that won’t scare them off, and furthermore when getting to know them, I try to comfort them and make sure that they feel confident around me. Its very important to me that the pet will not be afraid to go on walks with me, eat around me, or approach me during the time that I come to take care of them.

About: I have owned and watch dogs but also cats. I have a love for animals and I get very excited meeting new ones. It’s the best experience to me. I’m available anytime. I would be able to do last minute set ups. I’m sometimes away from home around 2-4 pm but that’s not often Everyone in the house loves animals, especially dogs. The most love is given like their our own. We get very excited and take them out for long walks. My dog has been around puppies before and he loves to be around other dogs.
