About: I have been the go-to pet sitter for my large family & friends for years and just decided to see if anyone else would need the service. I have no pets or kids but I am a pet lover in a nice home with a big fenced in yard. I like hanging out with the pets like little buddies, getting some days of cuddles and then sending them home 😅. It’s the perfect way to get some fur baby time until I’m ready for my next dog or cat in the future. This is not a business for me, it’s something I have enjoyed doing for my family and friends, and if you want your beloved pet to be in a calm but fun, comfortable environment while you’re away, I can extend my service to you. I recently started doing home stays/drop ins for the pet sitting too and enjoyed it. I currently have a really flexible schedule with a lot of availability. I live with my dad that occasionally says hi if the dog or cat is friendly but mostly the house is big enough that they never cross paths. I have a fenced in yard and a big house with a lot of space that I can also section off by closing doors. I typically take the animals out several times a day, feed them, and let them roam around the house or snuggle with me. I like when pet owners bring a bed for their pets so I can make them their own space but they’re welcome to chill with me in whatever I’m doing. I’m youthful, active, and responsible. I have a naturally friendly, calm demeanor that animals and people respond well to. I have no pets right now but used to have a pit/black lab mix that I loved dearly so I love pits and other breeds with historically bad reputations. I frequently sit my aunt’s beagle mix who’s just a little old pup that sparked my interest for pet sitting cuz it was so fun to have visits from him. He and my old dog are in a bunch of my pics. With all animals I just try to make them comfortable and let them feel at home.

I currently work as an enrichment specialist/dog handler at a dog daycare, where I supervise and care for dogs of all sizes with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. About: As someone who grew up on a small farm, I have been around a variety of animals since birth. I have experience caring for a variety of species and am comfortable handling any animal. I have volunteered with local animal shelters for over a decade, so I also have extensive experience caring for pets with behavioral issues and medical needs. I am a part-time sitter who is providing pet care services in addition to my full-time work. However, as a professor at a local university, I have a very flexible daily schedule and can easily provide pet care during typical business hours. Additionally, I do not work in the summer, which increases my availability from mid-May to September. I am very intentional about the number of clients I take at a time to ensure that I can provide comprehensive care to booked clients. I believe open communication is most important to be able to provide safe and reliable care for your pets. During our meet and greet, I will ask many questions to ensure that I have a full picture of what caring for your pet requires and how to meet your expectations. As someone who uses a Rover sitter to care for my pets when I am away, I personally understand the trust that is needed to leave your pets in someone else's care. I strive to build trust with clients by showing up when I say I do and following all instructions provided to me. And, it is not just about building trust with you but also your pet! If your pet has any behavioral issues or quirks, it's important for me to know this so that I can ensure safety for your pet and myself. About: I have had experience caring for many different kinds of animals throughout my life, such as dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and fish. I am comfortable and confident with walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I am a full-time grad student, and I also work a part-time job. My schedule is a little different each weekday, sometimes with breaks in the middle of the day. I am available all day, every other weekend. I do not currently care for any pets in my home. I am not currently accepting jobs that require a pet to stay in my home.

About: I recently adopted my own dog as a puppy during the pandemic and have been a proud dog mom ever since! Besides my own dog I have experience with walking extended families dogs and caring for my friends dog while they were out of town. I'm looking to use the skills and experience I have gained to care for other pets in my neighborhood! I'm currently a new grad school student at UWM (go panthers) so my schedule has a bit of flexibility to it. I have classes in the evenings at the moment and would prefer to do morning walks during the week or anytime during the weekend! About: I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. Whether it was taking care of my own dog, or pet sitting for family friends, I have always loved working and caring for animals. I adore going on long walks with my own dog, and being able to help out others when they need their pets to be taken care of! About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, and I truly love getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and stay with their pets while they’re away. I especially enjoy longer stays because it gives dogs time to feel comfortable and settled, and I love being able to build that trust with them. One of my favorite parts is taking dogs on enriching walks, keeping them active, engaged, and happy, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. About: Your dog will be treated like family! My name is Melanie Hobbs and I would love to get to know your pets. I grew up with multiple dogs and cats and I've never been without them in my life. We have rescued all of our pets from shelters and I have loved their unique personalities, although sometimes challenging! Maebelle is skittish and crazy affectionate while Nina can be a bit of a bully and a sweetheart at the same time. They have brought a lot of joy to my house. I love big dogs, small dogs, mutts, and purebreds. If you interviewed my pets, they would tell you, "Melanie? Oh yeah, she's the best!" You can be assured your dogs will be in good hands with me.

I grew up with a black standard poodle from ages 3-19, and an apricot standard poodle from ages 19-27. I now have my own golden doodle named Sonny. I love playing, walking, and just hanging out with dogs as often as possible; they always brighten my day. I am willing to cuddle, play fetch, or give your dog(s) treats as often as they would like.
