About: Hi! I'm Kalina. I've been around animals my whole life, and they've always been a huge part of it. I've worked with rescue dogs and have experience with pets of all different personalities, so I know that every animal deserves patience, understanding, and care that's tailored to them. I have two cats and a deaf dog of my own, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone else. My deaf pup has taught me a lot about paying attention to body language, being patient, and finding what works best for each individual pet. About: From family pets, growing up on a farm, pet sitting in college, to multiple years taking care of animal ambassadors as a naturalist, I've been working with and caring for critters of all sorts for nearly as long as I can remember! For critters in the pet category, I have been caring for indoor cats since 2018, from kittens to seniors and every stage in between, including administering medications. My family has had medium/large dogs (rottweilers, labs, and border collie and boxer mixes) my whole life but I have also pet sat for smaller breeds like Boston terriers and cavalier king Charles spaniels. About: I have had experience caring for many different kinds of animals throughout my life, such as dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and fish. I am comfortable and confident with walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I am a full-time grad student, and I also work a part-time job. About: I don't actually call myself that, that's what my friends say I am. I've literally never met a dog I didn't get on famously with. I respect the fact that they are individuals with their own needs. I don't mean to sound too self assured with the title, but I earned it from friends.
