About: I have had experience caring for many different kinds of animals throughout my life, such as dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and fish. I am comfortable and confident with walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I am a full-time grad student, and I also work a part-time job. My schedule is a little different each weekday, sometimes with breaks in the middle of the day. I am available all day, every other weekend. I do not currently care for any pets in my home. I am not currently accepting jobs that require a pet to stay in my home.

About: As someone who grew up on a small farm, I have been around a variety of animals since birth. I have experience caring for a variety of species and am comfortable handling any animal. I have volunteered with local animal shelters for over a decade, so I also have extensive experience caring for pets with behavioral issues and medical needs. I am a part-time sitter who is providing pet care services in addition to my full-time work. However, as a professor at a local university, I have a very flexible daily schedule and can easily provide pet care during typical business hours. Additionally, I do not work in the summer, which increases my availability from mid-May to September. I am very intentional about the number of clients I take at a time to ensure that I can provide comprehensive care to booked clients. I believe open communication is most important to be able to provide safe and reliable care for your pets. During our meet and greet, I will ask many questions to ensure that I have a full picture of what caring for your pet requires and how to meet your expectations. As someone who uses a Rover sitter to care for my pets when I am away, I personally understand the trust that is needed to leave your pets in someone else's care. I strive to build trust with clients by showing up when I say I do and following all instructions provided to me. And, it is not just about building trust with you but also your pet! If your pet has any behavioral issues or quirks, it's important for me to know this so that I can ensure safety for your pet and myself. This will help me adjust my interactions with them so I can build trust with your pet and respect their boundaries. The more information I have, the better!

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and more. Play breaks/rest for dogs are just as important as exercise, which is something most people miss!

About: What sets me apart is both my personal and professional experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and currently work at Dogtopia, where I care for and supervise dogs daily. This has helped me become patient, attentive, and comfortable working with different temperaments and energy levels. I also have experience with both senior dogs and puppies. My senior dog, Otis, had arthritis, so I learned how important patience, comfort, and attentive care are for older pets. I also helped raise and train our pug puppy with basic training, routines, and socialization. About: Your dog will be treated like family! My name is Melanie Hobbs and I would love to get to know your pets. I grew up with multiple dogs and cats and I've never been without them in my life. We have rescued all of our pets from shelters and I have loved their unique personalities, although sometimes challenging! Maebelle is skittish and crazy affectionate while Nina can be a bit of a bully and a sweetheart at the same time. They have brought a lot of joy to my house. I love big dogs, small dogs, mutts, and purebreds. If you interviewed my pets, they would tell you, "Melanie? Oh yeah, she's the best!" You can be assured your dogs will be in good hands with me.

About: I am a 29-year-old from Minnesota. I went to the University of Wisconsin, and am currently a Registered Nurse! I grew up with a black standard poodle from ages 3-19, and an apricot standard poodle from ages 19-27. I now have my own golden doodle named Sonny. I love playing, walking, and just hanging out with dogs as often as possible; they always brighten my day. I am willing to cuddle, play fetch, or give your dog(s) treats as often as they would like. I promise to respect your pet(s) and home and do a great job. I love dogs of all kinds and am always excited to meet new puppy pals!
