I've been in love with cats since the age of 10 from the first meow. My love for dogs arrived a little later, but hit me full force. Every dog I see makes me smile and I make an effort to pet as many as possible. I'm also *that* person who walks or drives by the dog park whenever it's nearby just to enjoy their romping and contagious enjoyment. These days, my brown tabby Zoey and 90 lb ridgeback boxer mix Chester keep my home nice and cozy. My partner Karl is happy to run point at my home if I'm housesitting at yours. I've housesat for multiple cats and dogs since college (back in the nineties!). I've even cared for a pair of tortoises who have their own room, which required daily mopping and extra lettuce. For decades, my friends have relied on my calm and grounded demeanor to accomplish their more difficult routine pet tasks like giving cats pills and claw trims. Bonus: I love to walk! And your dog(s) of any size and I will have a grand time on a jaunt of any length. I'm familiar with neighborhood green spots, county parks, and lakeshore routes.
