About: Hello! I come from a family of dog lovers currently with 20 doggies in just my imitated family plus close aunts/uncles and cousins. We have quite the hectic family holidays. I've had lots of dog sitting experience between all those pups as well as being on Rover for 9 years now. My favorite pup is my border collie/aussie mix, Piper. She’s a rescue, almost 8 years old and all energy all the time. She’s keeps me active and taught me how to keep dogs physically and mentally exercised. I’m super easy going, just let me know how I can help you and your furry friends! I work mostly from home but still make time to get some extra dog time in my day. I can do morning, some lunch, and evening check-ins/walks on weekends and Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Dogs will always be kept on leash unless in a secure, fenced in area with me. Every animals needs are different, I am happy to hear every details about your pet to know how to best care for them.

About: I helped raise my own two family dogs and ensured that they were always walked, bathed, fed, and happy. It's also a habit of mine to go take the extra step like wiping my dogs and make sure they are clean after they've been outside. I've also taken care of my neighbor's dogs alongside our own family dogs, so I have experience handling multiple pets at once. I work full-time, Monday through Friday, while working from home 2-3 days a week. I also go to workout classes in the evening. Normally, if working from home, I take the dogs out for a walk in the morning. On other days, I take them for a walk in the evening. I normally take pets out 3 times a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and night. I make sure the dogs have a dedicated spot for food and bed. I have both a park and a dog park, 5-10 minutes away from my apartment, which I can take the pets to for a walk or some dog play time. There are also multiple yard-like grass areas where the dogs are meant to do their business. If pets stay with me for longer than two weeks, I bathe them every other week.

About: I started off taking care of small animals, but then became trained as a kennel attendant and enrichment specialist in my growing career in animal care. I wanted to offer more to my local community with the current skills I have, along with learn and grow with every pet and parent! I’m aware of how dogs communicate with each other with body language and have been trained to break apart a fight, even before a fight could start.

About: As someone who grew up on a small farm, I have been around a variety of animals since birth. I have experience caring for a variety of species and am comfortable handling any animal. I have volunteered with local animal shelters for over a decade, so I also have extensive experience caring for pets with behavioral issues and medical needs. I am a part-time sitter who is providing pet care services in addition to my full-time work. However, as a professor at a local university, I have a very flexible daily schedule and can easily provide pet care during typical business hours. Additionally, I do not work in the summer, which increases my availability from mid-May to September. I am very intentional about the number of clients I take at a time to ensure that I can provide comprehensive care to booked clients. I believe open communication is most important to be able to provide safe and reliable care for your pets. During our meet and greet, I will ask many questions to ensure that I have a full picture of what caring for your pet requires and how to meet your expectations. As someone who uses a Rover sitter to care for my pets when I am away, I personally understand the trust that is needed to leave your pets in someone else's care. I strive to build trust with clients by showing up when I say I do and following all instructions provided to me. And, it is not just about building trust with you but also your pet! If your pet has any behavioral issues or quirks, it's important for me to know this so that I can ensure safety for your pet and myself. This will help me adjust my interactions with them so I can build trust with your pet and respect their boundaries. The more information I have, the better!

“I’m so glad I found Jan on Rover! She is a great dog walker. When she came and met our puppy prior to her first walk I could tell she is a big dog lover. Her job is flexible so she is able to be flexible with coming over as well. Great at communicating about the walk/playtime. Our puppy had a stomach bug and she kindly cleaned up his accidents when she came over. I also overbooked her and unfortunately had to cancel a few walks. She was very nice about it. About: I am a part time college student. I am going to school to get my ECE Degree. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 by volunteering at humane societies and having my own dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycares throughout Florida and Wisconsin. I love all dogs like they are my children. I would love to own my own rescue center but as of now I want to gain more experience with taking care of different breeds and just express my love of animals to the world. I work third shift for Target and dog sit during the day. I make sure they are taken out three-four times and feed twice a day. I care for them like they are children. Go on walks, feed, cuddle. About: I’ve dog sit for families since I was a teenager, and I’ve always been very reliable. I’ve had all different types of breeds of dogs growing up as well. I currently work as a teacher; so I’m off for the summer. I can help any time! I can be there as early as needed. I love walking dogs and am always very interactive with all animals. About: I recently adopted my own dog as a puppy during the pandemic and have been a proud dog mom ever since! Besides my own dog I have experience with walking extended families dogs and caring for my friends dog while they were out of town. I'm looking to use the skills and experience I have gained to care for other pets in my neighborhood! I'm currently a new grad school student at UWM (go panthers) so my schedule has a bit of flexibility to it. I have classes in the evenings at the moment and would prefer to do morning walks during the week or anytime during the weekend! While at a clients home I am very attentive to their pet and its needs and make sure to give it the same love and care as I would my own!

About: I grew up with cats and dogs and have raised my own cats and dogs, including a dog with health issues. I also am a volunteer dog walker and foster for MADACC. I'm an ultra runner, so what better way to get in some miles than to run with your dog?! I work from home part-time so I have flexibility during the week. On the weekends, I just have to work around my kids' sports schedules. I have years of experience running, walking and hiking with my own dogs. I will keep your dog safely leashed/harnessed while we are getting our steps in, making sure they are comfortable and properly hydrated.

About: Ive had dogs all my life, my family always had a couple dogs no matter what happens. I come from a big family who loves a lot of house and companionship. And dogs make the best companions. I will take extra good care of you loved one and I will make sure you are in great hands when I take care of them! I have school Monday through thursday but I have time in between classes to run home and walk them if need be. I work the weekends 3pm to 11pm Friday and satruday, then Sunday 7am to 3pm I will take great care to make sure they are comfy and have everything they need. I will play with them as much as they want and I will ensure that they're safe

About: Hello and welcome! We take care of/have taken care of all different kinds of pets. We have our own two dogs, as well as six cats. We have experience with multiple different breeds and types of animals, as well as being able to handle many at a time. (We have had up to 9 dogs in my care at one time!) I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind, which is why I will update you with pictures as much as you would like. I have a finished basement if your loved one would prefer to be separated, and also have many open rooms for them to choose from for slumber. The cats have a gated off cat room, only accessible to humans and kitties. The crew and I can't wait to meet you! (Or if you prefer the whole crew won't meet you :)). Dani is currently home full time. At this time Dani is home for almost the entire day, with occasional errands. You can request our schedule for any amount of time to confirm your loved one will be cared for properly and on time. We deep clean all items used after a pet stays, so that they are ready for the next pet to stay. We have extra blankets, beds, crates, bowls, and more. We keep our fishtanks neat and clean, as well as my home. My dogs are extremely friendly even with cats. My backyard is fenced in with access through a back door. When it's nice out we play outside with the dogs where they have access to a kiddie pool to play in the water. I have started to add more outdoor play equipment/toys.

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life and have years of hands on experience caring for my grandparents’ Shih Tzus. About: I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. Whether it was taking care of my own dog, or pet sitting for family friends, I have always loved working and caring for animals. I adore going on long walks with my own dog, and being able to help out others when they need their pets to be taken care of! About: I’ve had all kinds of pets growing up ranging from lizards, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles, frogs companion animals, and many more. I’m currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, studying animal science, hoping to pursue a career as a veterinarian. I have a very diverse background in animal care. I’ve spent many hours working in veterinary hospitals, shelters, and farms. I’ve experienced working with animals, big and small and not afraid to take on your challenging but loving animals.
