“Yolanda and her family did a wonderful job with Gizmo. It was our first time leaving him for a week and with someone through Rover. Yolanda's patience, kindness, and experience brought me relief knowing that my dog was in great hands. She did everything possible to calm my anxiety-ridden fur baby and made him comfortable; kept me updated and was responsive; sent me photos; and was very easy/flexible to work with. By the end of the week, Gizmo was playing with other dogs and taking long walks twice a day, which he never does! He's been home for almost 24 hours and I can tell he misses Yolanda, but mostly, he's been sleeping like a baby. LOL. I couldn't thank Yolanda and her family enough. I finally found someone who was willing to take in my dog and refused to give up on him even when times were hard. I highly recommend her services! About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10. I have a golden retriever now and love all kinds of dogs. I grew up around dogs my whole life so I am very comfortable with them! It's also a habit of mine to go take the extra step like wiping my dogs and make sure they are clean after they've been outside. I've also taken care of my neighbor's dogs alongside our own family dogs, so I have experience handling multiple pets at once. I work full-time, Monday through Friday, while working from home 2-3 days a week. I also go to workout classes in the evening. Normally, if working from home, I take the dogs out for a walk in the morning. On other days, I take them for a walk in the evening. I normally take pets out 3 times a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and night. I make sure the dogs have a dedicated spot for food and bed. I have both a park and a dog park, 5-10 minutes away from my apartment, which I can take the pets to for a walk or some dog play time. There are also multiple yard-like grass areas where the dogs are meant to do their business. If pets stay with me for longer than two weeks, I bathe them every other week.

About: Hey there! I’m a new Rover sitter who truly enjoys being around dogs. I’m dependable, easygoing, and always focused on keeping dogs safe and comfortable. Currently, I am working in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays until about 230/3pm and work at home on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Weekends are very open and only tend to leave for short periods of time to run errands I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for them to run around and enjoy the outdoors, as well as one Corgi at home. I do live in a two story house with the primary bedroom upstairs. Depending on the preference, dogs are usually allowed to roam free whether I am home or not but I do have gates to keep them from going upstairs if necessary.

About: From family pets, growing up on a farm, pet sitting in college, to multiple years taking care of animal ambassadors as a naturalist, I've been working with and caring for critters of all sorts for nearly as long as I can remember! For critters in the pet category, I have been caring for indoor cats since 2018, from kittens to seniors and every stage in between, including administering medications. My family has had medium/large dogs (rottweilers, labs, and border collie and boxer mixes) my whole life but I have also pet sat for smaller breeds like Boston terriers and cavalier king Charles spaniels. I believe open communication is most important to be able to provide safe and reliable care for your pets. During our meet and greet, I will ask many questions to ensure that I have a full picture of what caring for your pet requires and how to meet your expectations. As someone who uses a Rover sitter to care for my pets when I am away, I personally understand the trust that is needed to leave your pets in someone else's care. I strive to build trust with clients by showing up when I say I do and following all instructions provided to me. And, it is not just about building trust with you but also your pet! If your pet has any behavioral issues or quirks, it's important for me to know this so that I can ensure safety for your pet and myself. This will help me adjust my interactions with them so I can build trust with your pet and respect their boundaries. The more information I have, the better!
About: I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. Whether it was taking care of my own dog, or pet sitting for family friends, I have always loved working and caring for animals. I adore going on long walks with my own dog, and being able to help out others when they need their pets to be taken care of! I am confident in taking care of animals of any size, and will not hesitate to do my best to assure the pets the care they need. Currently, I am an incoming college student looking to save up for college. Right now I am living at home and am on summer break, so my schedule is always open! I’m available to take care of pets at any time of the day. I believe its important to build trust with the pet, and give them a place where they can feel safe. I try to listen and observe the behaviors of the pets, but also make sure that I am following the directions given to me by the owners. When meeting a new pet, I always approach them in a way that won’t scare them off, and furthermore when getting to know them, I try to comfort them and make sure that they feel confident around me. Its very important to me that the pet will not be afraid to go on walks with me, eat around me, or approach me during the time that I come to take care of them.

About: I have owned and watch dogs but also cats. I have a love for animals and I get very excited meeting new ones. It’s the best experience to me. I’m available anytime. I would be able to do last minute set ups. I’m sometimes away from home around 2-4 pm but that’s not often Everyone in the house loves animals, especially dogs. The most love is given like their our own. We get very excited and take them out for long walks. My dog has been around puppies before and he loves to be around other dogs.

“Yolanda and her family did a wonderful job with Gizmo. It was our first time leaving him for a week and with someone through Rover. Yolanda's patience, kindness, and experience brought me relief knowing that my dog was in great hands. She did everything possible to calm my anxiety-ridden fur baby and made him comfortable; kept me updated and was responsive; sent me photos; and was very easy/flexible to work with. By the end of the week, Gizmo was playing with other dogs and taking long walks twice a day, which he never does! He's been home for almost 24 hours and I can tell he misses Yolanda, but mostly, he's been sleeping like a baby. LOL. I couldn't thank Yolanda and her family enough. She was still prescribed several things. Despite the last minute inconvenience Michelle was very communicative and accommodating. Throughout my dog’s stay Michelle kept me up to date about how my dog was doing and let me know that she was feeling better!
