Communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was so flexible when our flights changed, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. Riley isn’t around other dogs very often, so I was a little nervous, but they did great together and it made me so happy to hear how well she adjusted. “I can’t speak highly enough of Vicki! Every day we got a little update on how our cat was doing, and it was much appreciated. Vicki clearly got to know her, paid attention to her idiosyncrasies, and enjoyed playing with her and taking care of her. She not only cleaned our cat’s random messes, but apparently the remains of some creature that was eaten right outside the door… that would not have been a fun thing to come home to… As luck would have it, our street got flooded while we were gone. Vicki sent daily reports and pics about the water level in the yard and the basement condition. She was ready to move things as needed (thankfully it was not needed). Finally, she was worried we might be getting home a bit too late on the last day, so paid an extra visit to our furry one without being asked. About: I've loved cats for as long as I can remember. My first pet was a cat named Cindy, along with her sister, Soncy. A few years later we adopted a tabby named Oliver. I grew up with Cindy & Soncy for about 15 years, and once we adopted Oliver, we have had him for 10 years. I currently do not live with the cats anymore, now that I have adopted a dog. But I am very familiar with the everyday care that cats need, including feeding, litter boxes, playtime, affection, and giving them space when they want it. I know that every cat has a different personality and that some want constant attention while others are happiest doing their own thing. About: I have watched friends and neighbor's pets for years and decided to sign up with Rover. I love all animals. I have 1 dog and 1 cat, and they are family. I will walk, love and play with all pets staying with me and follow instructions given by their owners. I can watch puppies that are really like toddlers or older wiser members of your families. I am comfortable giving medications if needed. Most will sleep on my bed and yes, they are allowed on my furniture, but they are welcome to sleep or nap wherever they would like. About: I helped raise my own two family dogs and ensured that they were always walked, bathed, fed, and happy. It's also a habit of mine to go take the extra step like wiping my dogs and make sure they are clean after they've been outside. I've also taken care of my neighbor's dogs alongside our own family dogs, so I have experience handling multiple pets at once. I work full-time, Monday through Friday, while working from home 2-3 days a week. I also go to workout classes in the evening. Normally, if working from home, I take the dogs out for a walk in the morning. On other days, I take them for a walk in the evening. I have both a park and a dog park, 5-10 minutes away from my apartment, which I can take the pets to for a walk or some dog play time. There are also multiple yard-like grass areas where the dogs are meant to do their business. If pets stay with me for longer than two weeks, I bathe them every other week.

He texted when he was on his way, arrived promptly, and spent a couple of extra minutes greeting Rosie, on her level, letting her check him out and get comfortable with him - I was pleased. I am currently offering evening availability on the weekdays starting at 6:30pm Thursday/Friday, and flexible scheduling on Saturday's/Sunday's for drop-ins & walks. I treat every dog like my own and can't wait to meet you and your pup! I am currently working a full-time job, 8am-5pm. I know this creates limited availability, but I am willing to fit in drop-ins and walks after 6:30pm during the weekdays, and will have flexible availability on the weekend. I take my dog on two 30 minutes walks everyday, on top of playing fetch often, & providing training on basics daily. I practice off-leash in areas where it is allowed. I feed morning and evening for my dog, provide lots of cuddles and affection, and make sure play time is priority. That can be through basic training, scent games, DIY puzzles, and running in the park! As for crate training, I did it for a year but have no moved to allowing my dog to snooze next to my bed every night. This set him up for success and created trust between him and I. I focus on trust with my dog 100% of the time, and understand his needs and wants daily. The bond between your pet is so important so I want to make sure I bring that same energy to your pet!
About: I am a dog lover! There has never been a time that I have not had a dog. I would love to take care of your dog. You can enjoy your time away and rest assured that he or she will be in good hands and be cared for and loved while you are gone. He or she will get tons of attention and feel right at home. We will have lots of outdoor playtime in our fenced in yard as well as walks in our beautiful Glendale neighborhood. My dog, Dallas, is very social and loves to have new friends over. Dallas has been neutered and is healthy and current on all of this vaccinations. All dogs that stay with us can be fitted with a Whistle 3 GPS dog tracker and activity monitor which tracks your dogs activity and rest as well as monitors where they are at all times. No chance of your dog escaping and getting lost if they are known runners. I am home most of the time and have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby! Weekends are usually available as well by request. We allow pets everywhere in our home and have a fenced in yard in which to care for your fur baby. If you use a crate for your pet then that is what we will do as well. We try to mimic what is done at home to maintain continuity of care for the animal as much as possible to reduce stress and anxiety.

About: I am a part time college student. I am going to school to get my ECE Degree. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 by volunteering at humane societies and having my own dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycares throughout Florida and Wisconsin. I love all dogs like they are my children.
