About: I have been passionate about animals, big and small, my entire life! I have volunteered at humane societies, fostered animals in need, cared for the pets of family members and friends, interned at AZA-accredited zoos, and worked at wildlife sanctuaries. Currently I am a full-time licensed wildlife rehabilitator caring for injured and orphaned Wisconsin wildlife with the goal of releasing them back into the wild, but I have previously worked with a variety of domestic animals both in my personal and in my professional life. I am well versed in animal behavior, body language, and positive reinforcement. I promise to treat (and spoil) your pets like they are my own! At the moment I have 3 sweet cats, a high-energy dog, a mischievous chinchilla, and a gentleman of a ball python! Please do not hesitate to reach out and get to know me more! I currently work 4 days of the week at my full time job so I am only available select days. I am eager to spend time with your pets, however, so if my schedule shows I am unavailable, please reach out anyway as I try to be as flexible as possible! It is extremely important to me to use Fear Free tactics when interacting with any animal. Gaining the trust of you and your pet are my top priority!
About: I'd love to hang out with your dog on a walk, while I work from home (or your home!), or play with toys during a drop in check in. I work from home so I can be flexible on potty breaks. I work from home, so happy to give your pup potty breaks, walks, and play time on a flexible schedule. I'm available for morning walks also! I have two friendly small dogs, but can keep them separate if you prefer. I will keep your pup in my office with me while I work, and that will be their dedicated space. They are welcome to lay on a big dog bed or my guest bed beside me while I work. They also will have access to the sun room and can watch all the rabbits and squirrels in our back yard. If you are comfortable with them being around my dogs we can also let them have fun of my house while I'm at home. Your dog can be crated if I need to step away for a minute or they are welcome to stay in my office and lounge on the bed. For small or older dogs, we have a small fenced yard (about 200 sq ft, fence about 3.5 ft high).

I have plenty of time to play with your dog! Open almost anytime to board or house sit and can check on your dog depending on my work schedule. I would love to spoil your dog! Katie consistently goes above and beyond. Our cat was alone during a snowstorm and power outage, and Katie communicated with us right away that our automatic feeder wasn’t working. She worked with me to come up with a mitigation plan, and she offered to check on our cat the next day to make sure the kibble had dropped, even though we hadn’t booked her for another visit. She is an AMAZING sitter and very kind, generous human.
This was our first time having Becky check in on our shy cat. Becky came when promised, followed all of my (overly obsessive) directions to a "T", and managed to cajole Sophie into coming out and interacting with her. Sophie and our home were in great hands, and we would definitely use Becky again.
Mia was great with our 2 cats! She was lovely with them in person, and thorough with her reports online. She did everything we asked her to do, PLUS she took gorgeous photos of the kitties and sent them to us every day. We will definitely book with her again.
