“Such a relief to find Nancy! Our dog loves her,she sends regular updates and leaves the house tidy. She is a very nice person who we trust with our Radar.”

“Awesome! Shayna treated my boys like they were her own. She handled all of our weird routines smoothly and easily. She checked in to let me know all was well and reached out if a question arose. Will definitely use her again”

About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

“I had the pleasure of having Alexus dog sit for me while I was traveling, and she was absolutely fantastic. My dog is older and needs a bit of extra attention, and Lexi was so caring and attentive the entire time. She followed all the feeding and walking instructions perfectly and was always punctual. Letting someone stay in your home can be a little uncomfortable, but Lexi was super respectful of the space and clearly focused on making my dog feel comfortable and cared for. I felt totally at ease knowing she was here. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone dependable and kind!”

About: I have had a dog since I was three but started to seriously take care of them around the age of 7. In the past three years I have begun to do a majority of the work for my four family dogs. I am currently working part time at Target, and would love to be able to hang out and spend time with animals on my days off! I will spend most of the day with your pet, making sure to give lots of love and attention. Also depending on age and energy levels I will provide the necessary exercise that your pet requires!

About: I’ve grown up primarily with large dogs, those dogs smaller alongside feline friends as cared for by my grandfather and I before his passing. Educating and reinforcing the significance of proper animal care in my calling to love on these furry friends with responsibility and compassion! I’m very flexible, just communicate your preferences and needs as I’ll happily make them happen in order to properly provide service to our furry friends! Providing service at the clients home looks like keeping up with a clean environment, annual check ups via phone with the owner while always remaining alert to the animal’s needs.

“Emma was wonderful watching our 2 cats last minute while we were out of town. She asked great questions beforehand and we would definitely use her again”

“Dayton is the dog sitter and person we have been hoping for and waiting for. She arrived right on time, and immediately connected with Tuli our German Shepherd. IYKYK how loud and scary a German Shepherd's bark can be when someone new arrives in her/our domain. Dayton was nonplussed, and Tuli felt totally comfortable with her instantaneously. Additionally, Dayton is a very kind, caring person and someone we will from now on ask to care for Tuli.”

About: I got my first dog when I was six, and growing up he was my best friend. I also had lizards, birds, fish, frogs, hamsters, and cats! Ever since then, I have always been passionate about helping dogs and other animals. I've taken care of many dogs and cats over the years of all sizes and ages, and now I want to make this passion my work. My favorite part about taking care of dogs is walking them. I have a Border Collie and know how to handle hyper and active dogs. I have experience taking care of disabled pets as well- I had a small dog that used a wheel chair for years and lived a happy life. All of my friends and family call me first when in need of a pet sitter because they know I'm capable and that I truly care. Whether you need walking, bathing, feeding, or someone to assist with your special needs pet, I have done it all and would love to help! I am available to walk your dog and take care of your pets any day of the week. So send me a message and I will respond quickly! First, I ask pet owners if there are any requirements or concerns to be aware of when I am entering their home to care for their pet. In addition, I always like to know what treats or activities their pets enjoy. For example, during an appointment, I will often greet pets with their favorite treat, check if they need water, take care of any potty or medical needs, and stimulate them with their favorite activity! Before leaving, I make sure I have performed all required tasks requested by the client.

About: I have been responsible for my family pets just about my whole life. Animals are my passion, dogs especially; I absolutely love being around them, no matter the breed. I'm knowledgeable about breed-specific behaviors and needs and am open to any dog, given they are not aggressive towards me. I can give baths, trim nails and brush out loose fur. I can administer oral medication and will keep on schedule with feeding if you have one. I am always on time and more than willing to do my best with any special requests you may have. Your best friend's comfort and enjoyment is my priority, whether it's a walk, home visit, or overnight stay. I am also knowledgeable about and very comfortable with cats, as well as fish, reptiles, and small animals. I have a chinchilla and a pet jumping spider of my own! I am currently unemployed; my only schedule commitments at the moment (when I would be unavailable) are on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1-2pm, and Tuesdays through Thursdays from 4-7pm. I would love to pet-sit full time! I can provide walks around your neighborhood or at our local park, and will tire your dog out (if needed) in whatever way they choose. I love getting dog cuddles as well :-)

Use promo code or tap link for $20 off first time service! 👇😄 https://www.rover.com/sit/debiv27954 Between my husband and I we have over 30yrs of experience caring for our furry friends. We have both owned pets most of our lives and will love and care for your fur babies while they're in our care. 🐾 🥰❤️ We are both semi-retired nurses, responsible to lovingly care and able to administer various necessary medications to your pet if needed. We also have experience with senior dog care, various breeds and sizes and have owned a few rescue dogs and cats as well. We prefer small and medium breed sizes, but will open our home to big guys depending on the timing and if other dogs are in our care. No aggreasive dogs allowed please. ☺️ When your dogs stay with us you can expect lots of LOVE and PLAYTIME. We have a giant yard and play area and a small stream that our dog loves to romp in and out of! We will take walks, water and potty breaks and supervised play time to keep your fur baby happy and pampered. Our yard is partially fenced but your pets will always be supervised and on leashes while outdoors unless you as owners give permission to take off leashes. We are located in a scenic neighborhood on a closed road, with access to walking trails/dog trails to keep your furbaby well occupied and happy!! ❤️🐶🐾🐶❤️ My husband and I are both semi retired. We will be able to love and care for your furbaby the majority of the time they are in our care and give potty breaks as needed. On Thursdays we care for our 3yr old grandson, so if we care for your pet they must be good with children. We have 5 acres of play space and a one friendly dog of our own to keep your pet happy and occupied. We also have pet beds, bowls, and toys available, or you may bring your own if your pet prefers. :)

“Maryjane was great! She stepped in when an emergency forced my other sitter to end the stay early and she picked up the care for my cat without missing a beat! My cat clearly loved her, too. He was happy and well fed, and my apartment looked great when I got home! I will definitely book with her again!”

“Meaghan was amazing! She stayed in our home while we were away. She fed and walked our dog each day, even picked up our mail, put our garbage can on the street for us, and even started washing the sheets and towels she had used. Very reliable. I only wish we would have had more updates. Usually Rover hires log walks and send images. I had to ask in order to get status updates. No biggie, just would have been ideal.”

About: I've never had a period longer than a year where there weren't at least 2 dogs living in my house. I've walked them, brushed them, fed them, gave them water, the whole shebang. Big and small dogs are both welcome I work at Domino's often in the afternoons and evenings, but will always make sure your dog(s) have what they need beforehand and will be there at night for any late-night "issues" I'm probably going to spoil your dog with attention, making sure he or she is always happy amd content when I am there, and will always make sure there is food, water, and bathroom time

“Nicole is very responsible, and respectful. This is our first time having her at the house with our Addie dog, we have booked her for an upcoming longer trip, and there’s no doubt she will do a great job! Thanks Nicole.”

About: As someone who grew up on a farm and winery in the hills of Auburn, caring for animals is nothing foreign to me! Since I could walk I’ve been tending to all sorts of animals, cows, horses, ducks, chickens, birds and of course plenty of dogs and cats. I’ve been a groomer, doggy daycare group leader and trainer for going on five years. I am always eager to find ways to help others take care of their furry friends as it’s always been my passion! I’m working part time at a dog resort as a lodging assistant, groomer, and activities leader. My availability for them is Thursday through Sunday 6-3 however I’m taking a step back from the resort due to driving distance. My other days primarily I am participating in nature walks, river days, rock climbing with friends and working on my music! I’m very energetic and like to be constantly moving! Adventurous to the core For my kitty, she has a schedule. 6 am breakfast, 12 pm lunch, 6pm dinner. If she has medication it’s given first thing in the morning. I de shed her about once a week and get her groomed about every 6 months to a year. She is an outdoor explorer so when I’m taking her out I slip on her harness and collar. I have a travel backpack to take her in for larger adventures too. If I’m gone for longer periods of time I keep her in an enclosed area or have someone care for her.

“Without question I would hire Lesley again. She stayed two nights at the house with my beloved dog. She arrived on time and spent the time at the home that we agreed on. She went above and beyond making sure my dog was happy and well-fed. She was willing to spend time walking her and playing fetch! I received photos of my dog that showed she was perfectly content. I felt like I knew what was going on while I was away. This was far and above the way to go so that my dog did not need to be subjected to the stress of a kennel.”
