About: Long term pet parent and lover of animals. I am known for adopting animals in need of homes. I have had 3 cats and a dog over the past 10 years and most recently a turtle. My dog passed away in 2025 from cancer and I miss having my buddy around. I am not ready for a new dog so I am happy to spend time with yours. I currently have 2 kitties at home, one of which is a blind 1 year old. I work from home most days, but do travel occasionally for work. Please feel free to reach out, I have time to spare. I'm happy to assist you and your furbabies. I work remotely from home during the week and have availability to pop over for a walk, bathroom break or food assist. Since I work from home they can even hang out with me all day. I have 2 cats who might be a little shy but are friendly. They have been around dogs and will hide if a dog is just too much energy. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for zoomies. I also have a crate, toys and bed for your dog.

We could tell that Archie was having a great time, and that the experiences were very enriching. Archie can have anxiety around new people, especially men, but he really seemed to bond to Hong which was great to see. “Sandra was simply amazing - we couldn't have asked for more. Our family was going out of town for a long weekend, and we couldn't bring our (75 lb) fur baby with us. Having never used Rover before, we were unsure of how the process of trying to find someone to watch him on relatively short notice would go. We found Sandra's profile, thought she would be a good fit, and sent a message. Sandra replied extremely promptly (in under 30 minutes!), and provided a lot of helpful details about her availability during the dates we requested. She was extremely transparent and upfront about the service she could provide and the constraints she had, which very much put us at ease. After trading a few messages and deciding this was very likely a good fit, we arranged for a phone call to discuss details. We spoke for 20-30 minutes, in which it became exceedingly obvious that Sandra has had lots of experience with dogs, and understands that each dog is unique. She asked all the right questions about food, medicine, schedule, routine, kids, other dogs, etc. At this point, we really had no concerns, but decided to do an in-person meet-and-greet at her place as she was close by. She showed us around and gave us a sense of what a typical day would look like with our pup. Everything seemed great, so we decided to move forward. While Sandra was watching our dog, she sent regular updates (with cute photos!) reassuring us that he was doing well and having a good time. When we went to pick him up at the end of the weekend, it was clear that he had really taken to Sandra and was extremely comfortable around her. Sandra gave us a detailed rundown of how the weekend had gone, and shared some things she had noticed (e.g., our dog didn't seem interested in breakfast one day). We would book with Sandra again in a heartbeat!!”

Pilar has been caring for our dog Keto for many years. Keto adores Pilar, and seems to think of her time with her as camp. Her tail starts wagging furiously the minute she realizes that Pilar has arrived to take her away, and she rarely looks back as she trots to the car. Pilar takes Keto and other dog buddies for walks in the woods and provides plenty of playtime in her large yard. Pilar is attentive to communication regarding drop off and pickups and sends us updates and pictures. She has observed and reported on how Keto is changing as she ages, from being the alpha to the older lady. We would only use Pilar's services if her schedule accommodated us!
Yvonne and family are AMAZING! They took such wonderful care of our German Shepherd while we were out of town. Yvonne sent lots of pictures of Maia having a wonderful time and being spoiled with lots of pets. It was such a relief to know she was happy and well cared for. I know Maia will be excited to visit again!
Jackie was wonderful from the very beginning. She was extremely responsive and accommodating when I first reached out, and during my dog’s stay she kept us updated throughout the day with lots of pictures, which really gave me peace of mind. She was kind, polite, attentive, and followed all of our instructions exactly. Most importantly, it was very clear that my dog was being well cared for and comfortable with her. I felt completely at ease leaving him in her care and would absolutely use her again. Highly recommend!
Sasha and his family took great care of our shy, sweet Molly. I can’t say enough good things about them. It was our first time leaving her with strangers, and they gave her the right amount of space and attention to help her settle in. By the next morning they woke up to her stinky kisses in bed! They took Molly on walks/hikes and she cuddled with their daughtet in the human size dog bed watching movies. Sasha sent lots of great photos and updates each day. We are so grateful for their excellent care and kindness and will definitely use them again.
Megan was absolutely outstanding! She watched our 15 year old dog for 12 days while we were away, and we couldn't have asked for better care. She sent lots of photos and updates, gave all of his medications right on schedule, and was very responsive and responsible throughout. The biggest testament to how comfortable Riley was is that he had no accidents or diarrhea during his stay—something that usually happens when he's anxious or unhappy. It was clear he felt safe and loved. Her kids were also so sweet and gentle with him. We would trust Megan with Riley again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her!
We had a great experience with Marla and her husband. It was our first time leaving our 2 kitties (11 month old siblings, Bella and Bozo) and we were wary about having them stay at someone else’s home vs having someone come to our house. We only had them for about 2 months before leaving them. We weren’t sure how they’d react to being away from home with new people and other cats. Marla had a separate room that the kitties have as their own if desired. They were brought right into the separate where they were able to familiarize themselves with their new surroundings and different smells of a new place and other kitties. Marla’s cats were kept in their bedroom so as to allow our kitties time to adjust. It didn’t take long for them to begin exploring their new environment. We left them feeling very comfortable knowing that they would be taken well care of. Apparently, our initial fears were all for nothing because they settled in quickly and seemed to enjoy themselves. We received pictures daily that eased our worries while we were away. They had perches to sit on and watch the birds outside and there were a lot of toys and scratching posts to enjoy. I highly recommend Marla to anyone who has never left their cat before, and to anyone who has left their cat before and may not have had a good experience. BK
