About: I am a responsible, caring, and dependable dog sitter who understands how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pet and respect your home. I have experience helping care for dogs belonging to family and friends, including feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and following their regular routines. I take time to understand each dog’s personality, energy level, habits, and individual needs. I carefully follow all instructions provided by the owner and pay close attention to safety during walks, meals, and time inside the home. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, organized, punctual, and attentive to detail. I provide regular photos and updates so owners can feel comfortable and informed while their dog is in my care. My goal is to offer warm, reliable, and personalized care while helping every dog feel safe and comfortable. I am currently available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting in Wayland, MA and nearby areas. My schedule allows me to provide dependable morning, midday, and afternoon care, depending on the client’s location and the pet’s routine. I value punctuality and clear communication, and I carefully manage my calendar so every pet receives the time and attention they need. I provide care in the client’s home and always respect the dog’s established routine and the owner’s instructions. Before each booking, I make sure I understand feeding schedules, walking habits, temperament, medical needs, emergency contacts, and any situations that should be avoided. I carefully check doors, gates, collars, harnesses, and leashes, and I send regular photos and updates so owners feel informed and confident while their dog is in my care.
“Our dog Baily had such a great time with Maeve that we didn’t think he would want to leave. Maeve is very conscientious to each individual dog’s needs (she takes great note!). I would highly recommend anyone to have their dog stay with Maeve. She’s great”

“Mary was fantastic and shared daily pictures and updates of our precious Bruin! It was very reassuring to see him playing outside and relaxing in the house. We would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her.”

“It seemed like our dog had a great time with Jane and we loved getting the daily picture updates and notes about what they did each day! Will definitely book with Jane again!”

“Michelle took care of our lab and German shepherd for a couple of days and she was exceptional! Our dogs had so much fun, we frequently got updates, her communication was great! Our dogs are exhausted, which is always a good thing!! Highly recommend!”

“My Stormie so enjoyed her stay with Laura! Stormie is a very anxious dog but she bonded with Laura quickly. I received tons of pics of Stormie on walks, relaxing in the house and doing zoomies in the paddock. Made me very happy, I will be leaving Stormie with Laura again soon.”

“Alison was responsive and thoughtful. She agreed to sit our utterly over-exuberant 14-month-old black Lab and we were so concerned that Alison’s family would be overwhelmed. Instead, she sent encouraging notes and exercised our dog extensively, so that she returned home relaxed. We really could not have asked for a better situation. Great people, a terrific fenced back yard, and good communication. Hard to beat that.”

“Lauren was very accomdating and flexible. My dog loved her. While my dog loved to see me back, he was also in no hurry to leave Lauren. Glad we chose to go with a loving, home like, boarder like Lauren rather than a kennel.”

“Yulia and her family took very good care of Skye. We are sure that Skye received lots of love and attention. Yulia updated us with some lovely pictures. Thank you so much for taking good care of Skye. See you soon, again!”

“I was very nervous having to board my two pups rather emergently. Best thing to have ever happened to me was finding this angel. She sent me a frequent updates as well as pictures. Couldn’t have asked for a better family to take care of my best buds. I am 1000% grateful and will continue to use Jessica in the future.”

“Elaine is fantastic! We have boarded our Cocker Spaniel with Elaine a few times now and she provides excellent care each time. The peace of mind we have when leaving our dog with Elaine is such a blessing. We know that Elaine loves the dogs she watches and that she will provide the best possible care and attention for our little guy each time he stays with her. We're thankful for Elaine and highly recommend her to others!”

“Gabriel was great!! He was able to accommodate our two dogs very last minute (since our return flights were cancelled and we needed a new sitter) and then again he was very flexible to continue looking after our dogs when our flights were rescheduled multiple days later by the airlines. We appreciated the great communication and our boys were tired when we picked them up which is not an easy feat for our Australian Cattle Dog puppy! he definitely gave them lots of exercise and attention. Would definitely recommend and will be keeping his contact handy!”

“Very happy with J & J! We took a last minute trip and they responded quickly. They took good care of Milo, sent pictures, and i could tell he was happy there. Would definitely book again!”

“Svetlana and her family were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Milo! They’re kind, caring, and made him feel completely at home. Milo loved all the cuddles and attention he got — he clearly enjoyed spending time with them. I could tell he was happy and well cared for the whole time. I’m so grateful to have found such a loving family to look after him. Highly recommend Svetlana to anyone looking for a trustworthy and affectionate sitter!”

“Katy was fantastic with my dog Kallie! Kallie felt right at home with her and got lots attention! Katy sent lots of pictures and updates on how everything was going and videos of how much fun Kallie was having. I will be using Katy to watch Kallie any time we need to go out of town, she is great!!”

About: I got my first dog when I was 10. She was a puppy when I got her and was the love of my life. She taught me responsibility, patience, love, gentleness, and kindness. In my adulthood I fostered a sweet dog for two years before I had my children. Now I’m a single mom who is looking to help care for your dog during the times my children are not with me. I’m a single mom on a parenting schedule. I would care for your pet on the weekends my children are with their dad. During that time I would be readily available and have a lot of flexibility. I can easily come to your home and care for your pet as requested. I live in a single family home with a walking trail across the street. No fenced yard.
“My dog Miko seems to have enjoyed his stay at Sara's place. He came back all relaxed, complete opposite experience of leaving him in a pet hotel where he came back agitated for many days. Sara's place is perfect with a big fenced garden so he could play freely with her dog and others. I can only recommend her.”

“Clover loves going to stay with Emma and the pups! She is always well loved and stays super active! Emma is always sending updates and pictures of the dogs and their activities!”

“Thank you Hong and Yuen for being so kind and understanding of Brady’s health needs. Thank you for administering his medication and tolerating his skin issue. And thank you for communicating so well during his stay. I give you the highest recommendation! Michele”
“Thank you so much, Michiko and Cliff, for taking such incredible care of our Suki while we were away. Your love, patience, understanding, and daily updates made all the difference and gave us complete peace of mind. We are truly grateful for everything you did, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 🙏🐾”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Maynard
Jackie was wonderful from the very beginning. She was extremely responsive and accommodating when I first reached out, and during my dog’s stay she kept us updated throughout the day with lots of pictures, which really gave me peace of mind. She was kind, polite, attentive, and followed all of our instructions exactly. Most importantly, it was very clear that my dog was being well cared for and comfortable with her. I felt completely at ease leaving him in her care and would absolutely use her again. Highly recommend!

Sasha and his family took great care of our shy, sweet Molly. I can’t say enough good things about them. It was our first time leaving her with strangers, and they gave her the right amount of space and attention to help her settle in. By the next morning they woke up to her stinky kisses in bed! They took Molly on walks/hikes and she cuddled with their daughtet in the human size dog bed watching movies. Sasha sent lots of great photos and updates each day. We are so grateful for their excellent care and kindness and will definitely use them again.
Megan was absolutely outstanding! She watched our 15 year old dog for 12 days while we were away, and we couldn't have asked for better care. She sent lots of photos and updates, gave all of his medications right on schedule, and was very responsive and responsible throughout. The biggest testament to how comfortable Riley was is that he had no accidents or diarrhea during his stay—something that usually happens when he's anxious or unhappy. It was clear he felt safe and loved. Her kids were also so sweet and gentle with him. We would trust Megan with Riley again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her!

Pilar is the best. Our little pomapoo, Tater, is so excited when he gets to her house, he doesn’t even look back at us when we drop him off. She takes great care of him and he loves her so much that he stays right beside her all throughout the day. You will not be disappointed if you drop your pup off with Pilar.

We had a great experience with Marla and her husband. It was our first time leaving our 2 kitties (11 month old siblings, Bella and Bozo) and we were wary about having them stay at someone else’s home vs having someone come to our house. We only had them for about 2 months before leaving them. We weren’t sure how they’d react to being away from home with new people and other cats. Marla had a separate room that the kitties have as their own if desired. They were brought right into the separate where they were able to familiarize themselves with their new surroundings and different smells of a new place and other kitties. Marla’s cats were kept in their bedroom so as to allow our kitties time to adjust. It didn’t take long for them to begin exploring their new environment. We left them feeling very comfortable knowing that they would be taken well care of. Apparently, our initial fears were all for nothing because they settled in quickly and seemed to enjoy themselves. We received pictures daily that eased our worries while we were away. They had perches to sit on and watch the birds outside and there were a lot of toys and scratching posts to enjoy. I highly recommend Marla to anyone who has never left their cat before, and to anyone who has left their cat before and may not have had a good experience. BK

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
