“I was nervous about boarding my dog. Our one previous experience with overnight boarding resulted in a stressed and overwhelmed dog. However, Xiaoxue was a dream! Communication was A+ from the start and she was very accommodating. She sent so many pics and videos. He got plenty of exercise and sniffing time. She is also a dog owner so he got a buddy to play with. I could tell he was having the time of his life! I will definitely book again and would recommend her with zero hesitation. Such a gem!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Hugo and Julia. Both my dogs were very well taken care of. Hugo and Julia gave daily updates on their well being. They were very attentive and caring!!”

“Our sweet 10-year-old pup had a wonderful 5-day stay with Liza right after Christmas. Tamsin can be a little shy, but Liza runs a very dog-friendly house: nap time on the sofa, plenty of play time in her large fenced-in back yard. Tam fit right in. This was Tam's first time staying with Liza. She'll be happy to return!”

“Our Bernese Mountain Dog, Greta, has has two wonderful stays with Kira and her family! I would HIGHLY recommend Kira to any dog owner. Her daily updates and pictures are such peace of mind while we were away and the smile on Greta’s face was priceless! The second time we pulled up to the house, Greta excitedly ran to their front door and I had to ask her to come back so I could say good bye! There’s no doubt that Greta will return anytime we are away. We’re so grateful for the care and love she receives with Kira.”

“I was very pleased with Sarah’s care of Brandy when she stayed with her this past weekend. Sarah was great about updating me and sending pictures. Her house is very dog friendly and there are lots of toys that her pup shares with guests. Brandy enjoyed her stay, and although she was happy to see me, was not showing any of the anxiety I sometimes see when we are separated for a while, so I know she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for in my absence. I would highly recommend Sarah as a sitter and plan to have her watch Brandy again soon!”

“Sarah was great with my nervous hound girl Minnie. She was gracious enough to set up a meet and greet on short notice, and gave me peace of mind by communicating with me and sending photos of my dog when she was watching her. I was lucky to find Sarah and would use her again.”

“Leaving our dog with Liliya was easy and comfortable. She communicated well and sent us photos throughout each day. Most importantly our dog seemed happy and well cared for when we picked her up! We will definitely be back next time we need a dog sitter in her area!”

“Julie was really great with our anxious dog who really does not warm up to strangers. She understood that our dog needed space and time. By the end of the 24hour stay she and our dog had bonded which speaks volumes regarding Julie’s demeanor and ability to read a dog. Additionally, Julie is extremely responsive. Due to weather we needed to adjust our stay and she quickly responded to my messages and helped work through how to navigate the Rover site ? We are looking forward to having our dog stay with Julie again soon.”

I love swimming, hiking, and going on longer walks. My house is spacious and has lots of toys.

“Xiaoxue was great at helping my anxious dog get acclimated and settle in her home. She was also very responsive and sent plenty of updates with photos. I highly recommend.”

I'm experienced in providing engaging activities and creating a fun, safe environment for your pet to thrive. I work from home and can fit in schedules during the week. I have a unfixed, male Beagle, Leo - who is a sweetheart and is very calm and mingles well with to other dogs. He mostly loves to laze around once he's had his fill. I have an enclosed sun room for the pet to relax and bask in the sun. The neighbourhood is very calm, safe and pet friendly.

About: I've taken care of many dogs for friends and family. I enjoy large dogs, training young pets, and playing outside. Looking forward to hearing from you. I'm currently full time remote from home, so I will have plenty of time to be with your pet! Many times when it is nice, I will sit outside in the backyard and work while the dogs play and explore. “We had a great experience with Emma! Our dogs are fussy. One is older and easily tired, the other is super energetic and nervous. They both were very calm and happy the whole time with her. She sent lots of pictures, which was great, and I felt she took very good care of them. She was also very quick to communicate and confirm plans.”

“I was nervous leaving my dog Beau with a sitter for the first time. He is very high energy and has some quirks that we are still working through. After his first day with Anastasia I felt so much better. He came back happy and relaxed after a day of fun at her house. During the week she took him on hikes, let him play in the pool and even took him with her on a trip to the pet store. I will definitely be leaving Beau with Anastasia again in the future!”

“Merry was wonderful with our Jackson! She was kind, responsive, and very friendly. The icing on the cake were her two sweet and adorable dogs :) We look forward to trusting her with our dog again in the future!”

“Barry was excellent and he took care of Meshki well beyond the expectations. Every night Meshki came back home exhausted from all the walk and fun time he had with Barry and his dog. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for everything you did for Meshki.”

About: I’ve lived in a home with dogs my entire life. Currently I am the dog mom to a 5 year old goldendoodle and have volunteered at a local rescue who takes in both dogs and cats once a month for the past 3 years. These experiences have thought me management and training techniques for different dog temperaments, ages and medical needs. Recently completed AniMatch Canine Body Language and Behavior Observation Training educational course, have taken a canine CPR course and worked with my own dog on reactivity training. I work a full time remote marketing job. This gives me the ability to have time in the mornings, and evenings to do dog walks and pet drop ins when needed. I have limited lunch time availability at this time and am not able to take on any reoccurring weekly bookings. Client communication is key and I will make sure to connect with you on details of your pet before a visit, send updates and make sure things go as usual as normal.
About: I have taken care of different kinds of dogs, cats. When my friends go travel, i always took care of their pets very well, play, feed, walk, hug... I am working at home, could take care of them every day haha! I will walk them in the morning before work, and again when I am off work I live in a house, have an unfenced spacious yard, large room as well, no other pet or small children. Pets could stay anywhere they prefer.
“Strudel had a great time with tons of space to run and play and two other friendly dogs to play with. Souvik and Meghan were attentive, answered all of our questions immediately, and sent periodic updates of Strudel's adventures playing with the other pups and on walks.”

About: With over a decade of hands-on experience as a dedicated pet owner and caregiver, I bring a wealth of knowledge in pet care, particularly in the nurturing of dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as cats. Currently, I share my home with a lively Chihuahua and two feline companions, while also extending my care to several clients' beloved canines. Additionally, I have undergone training in positive-reinforcement techniques and clicker training methods. Before commencing services, I typically offer a complimentary "Meet and Greet" session. This serves as an invaluable opportunity for us to meet face-to-face, allowing me to familiarize myself with your pets and home environment. Moreover, it's an ideal time to exchange pertinent information such as door codes, keys, and entry instructions. Please note, for services requiring travel to your location, such as dog walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, that rates may vary depending on the distance from my residence in Marlborough. My schedule is structured to accommodate pet care seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. With several regular pet clients whom I walk during the week, I may be away for 4-6 hours at a time, ensuring each pet receives the attention and exercise they require. In all services I provide, whether it's house sitting, walks, drop-ins, boarding, or daycare, I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for your beloved pets. Depending on the specific service offered, I tailor my care methods to suit the unique needs of each pet, ensuring they feel secure and well-cared for in both my home and yours.

My kitten grew up with other animals before adoption and will welcome all creatures big and small.
“Pilar has been so helpful. She is always very responsive and available. She has been wonderful with Baxter. There was a time when she was walking him and he heard shooting range and panicked. Instead of bringing him right back inside without a walk she sat with him and calmed him down and then was able to get him to walk again. He is clearly comfortable with her and enjoys his time with her!”

About: Adopting Benny, our now 6-year-old Australian Shepherd mix, has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of our lives. He came to us as a rescue, full of potential but also in need of patience, consistency, and care. Australian Shepherds are known for their intelligence, energy, and sensitivity—and Benny is no exception. From daily walks and mental stimulation to routine training and lots of affection, caring for him has been a constant, joyful commitment. He thrives on structure and attention, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch him grow more confident and connected as the years go by. Benny has taught us so much about resilience, communication, and the powerful bond that forms between a pet and their family. He’s not just a pet—he’s truly part of our family. Pet care is a daily routine for me. I'm the one who feeds, brushes, spends time with Benny and walks him on a daily basis. I provide nothing but the best for Benny. He gets toppers on his food, supplements, daily attention and walks. I'am trustworthy, reliable and will treat your animals as if they were my own.
“Susannah comes to our house twice a week to take our dog out for a stroll. She is very reliable, comes on time and is very responsive. Would recommend her to a friend.”

About: I love animals and have two dogs of my own! I am very enthusiastic and have experience with skittish and nervous dogs and cats as well as puppies. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I am passionate about ensuring that animals feel safe in their homes while I am there, that they have fun and get exercise, that they are well cared for, and that they get all the cuddles they want -and none if they don’t ;)
“Finley was AMAZING with Luna. Super punctual, kept me well updated with photos, and conscientious of my home. Finley came out for a meet & greet before the week of dog walking and did everything I asked to perfection. Thank you!”

About: I have grown up with Cats and Dogs and have always had at least one in my house as an adult. I owned a Chihuahua that was not very nice to strangers, so I have also had my fair share of difficult moments with my dog as well. I am a huge cat lover, so send me all the kitties for care!!!! I am a school teacher with young teen children, so during the week in the Summer we are happy to help with your pet care needs. Weekends can be tough because we have sports tournaments, but ask because we have a few that we do not. I have 2 very friendly cats, but to be safe I am not sure how they will be around other animals. I am happy to care for your furry friends in your house and yard.

“Chris was so awesome with our pups! He was prompt, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy walking our dogs. I booked last minute for a walk at 4AM!! and he responded in impeccable time to make it work for us. Will be booking again when I need another impromptu walk.”
