“I highly recommend Laure & Matthew! Their house is on a quiet street with a big backyard and I received pictures and updates daily. My dog, Gracie, is a rescue with a few issues - she has 3 legs, is food obsessive, has a high prey drive for squirrels, and doesn’t like to walk on wood floors (lol). They worked with all of her quirks and I knew she was well taken care of. In the future, I will rebook with Laure/Matthew to watch Gracie anytime I’m out of town - I’ve already rebooked for next weekend!”

Laura sent us plenty of pictures/videos throughout the stay and took our dog on lots of walks. Her dog is sweet and was very playful with our dog. Our dog is known for being shy and distant from strangers, but when I picked her up she had obviously bounded with Laura.”

Sheena is clearly a dog lover and took the time to do a "meet and greet" at the dog park one day--so we could see if our two dogs would get along. She also allowed me to bring my dog over to our place before my trip so he could sniff around and get a feel for where he would be staying.”

He’s a high-energy Brittany Spaniel who needs plenty of exercise, so it meant a lot that she took him on long walks every day, plus a bath and plenty of cuddle time. You could tell he was tired and happy every time she sent an update. She read all my notes carefully, followed his routine (including the crate at night), and gave him her full attention the whole weekend. She was also super responsive and flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, and she sent photos and updates throughout the stay, which gave me total peace of mind while I was out of town. Simba clearly loved her, and honestly I think he was a little sad to leave! I'd book Makenzie again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!”

Lois called us to describe her condition in detail, provided hands-on care to try to make her more comfortable, coordinated with us to take her to the vet, and was prepared to bring her to the emergency vet if we hadn’t cut our trip short.
