Top rated Lowell house sitters

“Stephanie is an excellent dog sitter. She is not only reliable and responsible, but she has very good instincts with the dogs themselves. I say this as a dog trainer of 20 years. My younger dog Scout, is somewhat fearful of strangers and Stephanie did a wonderful job of winning him over in almost record time. I would say about 15 minutes! She takes direction well, which is important with fearful dogs, and has a natural calm demeanor which is also helpful. She recently stayed with my two English Shepherds for 4 days and they clearly had a great time and were well cared for. I recommend Stephanie very highly.”

“Julia went above and beyond taking care of our animals. She was responsive and sent regular updates. We came home to happy pets who were clearly well taken care of. We really could not have found a better house sitter and I would not hesitate to book with her again in the future.”

“Nikki did a great job caring for my two Bostons! She was warm, friendly and detail oriented about the specifics of their needs. I got pictures and updates while I was away, which was great because I missed my boys! She also tidied up before she left, which was great to come home to. Nikki is reliable, dependable, loves dogs, and I would hire her back anytime!”

“Great communication before and during the visit. I felt very comfortable with Alyssa watching my dog. Pictures and status throughout was greatly appreciated. Will definitely reach out again.”

“Delilah was wonderful! Our girl Luna is a bit quirky and can be difficult with new people. Delilah went out of her way to make Luna comfortable and keep us updated throughout our stay. It was our first family vacation since before COVID and we never worried once about our pets. Would happily use Delilah again!!!!”

“Sarah was amazing! She did a fantastic job taking care of our multiple cat and dog crew for overnights, one pup is a very senior pup as well and tricky to get to eat and take some supplements. She went above and beyond caring for the house, keeping us updated, sending pictures, and we came home to everything in order. She really put us at ease out of the gate. Will 100% book her again! Really I can’t say enough good things.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting on and off for a couple years now, I’ve had dogs of varying ages and sizes and support needs as a part of my household throughout my life. My family volunteers with Big Wave Dog Rescue together and I work part time at Canine Odyssey as a dog daycare attendant. I’m currently working part time and caring for my mother, but since I work mostly evenings only 4-6 hour shifts, pet sitting and overnight stays are perfect for me. I have a big yard with three pups, a 3 year old pitbull mix, a 2 year old pittie chihuahua mix, and a one year old Shih Tzu. All of them are rescues, and the older one has some trauma from before he was rescued and requires special care. I feed them rehydrated kibble and try to get raw/natural toppers where I can, even if it’s just a quail egg. I exercise with them daily, even if it’s just a run through the yard.

“Nicole B. was wonderful with my cockpoo, Gracie! She was in frequent contact and sent many photos. Gracie wants to snuggle all the time, and she got constant snuggling with Nicole. She slept over for several nights and you wouldn't even know she had visited, everything was so tidy when I returned. When Nicole came back to drop off my keys, Gracie was so happy to see her. I would highly recommend Nicole!”

“Lucille was FANTASTIC!! She made our dog feel so loved and kept amazing care of her. She sent pictures and messages to let us know how things were going. We will definitely have Layla stay with her again!”

About: Hi there! I am a college student eager to meet your fur-babies since I miss mine at home! I have had many pets such as dogs, cats, horses, and small animals! I can administer medication to your pets, as my own cat became disabled a couple years ago. I cannot wait to be the extended family of your fur-babies! For this summer session, I have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-5:20pm and remote class on Mondays and Wednesday from 1:30-5:20. This will end August 13th and my schedule will be completely open! At my home, I have a fenced yard for my dogs and cats to go outside. I play with them outside and inside the house, making sure they get their zoomiez out (since it's fun to watch and fun for them).

About: Not only do I love animals (no matter the type), I have never lived a day without one! I have owned cats, dogs, reptiles, even guinea pigs. Not only do I have experience living with animals, I have dog and cat sit for eight years for a big dog along with living with a small dog and cat. Additionally, I worked for Mass Vet Referral Hospital for two years as a client care specialist, so I have experience dealing with animal emergencies and giving medicine to pets. My patience and love for animals will leave you feeling at peace while away from your babies! I work from home completely and am mobile as I have my own car. Therefore, I am very flexible throughout the day! This also allows me the flexibility of being able to stay at a house for longer periods of time if needed as I am still able to work from other homes. I understand that all pets have their own boundaries. As long as I am aware of any ahead of time, I am more than happy to give any of your babies the space they need to be stress free while still being given the care needed to get through the day. This also applies to those who need more attention than most and love attention!

About: I have been a veterinarian technician for 6+ years. I have a wide range of skills including giving oral and injectable medications. I am first aid and CPR certified. I am able to walk dogs any distance. Pick up after them in yards. I also can bath dogs and I have my own pet safe dryer. I am currently working full time, but my work place is closing in September. I am flexible with my schedule and I’ll be able to provide the best care for your pets I have a fenced in yard, and a small doggy pool. I also have pets of my own that are friendly with others. I will take dogs on walks 2-3 times a day for about 2.5 mile walks. I also have a variety of dog toys that they can play with. I have a bath tub that I can use to give baths.

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs- small and large my entire life. I also used to be a part of a animal-sitting business based out of Boston. I have a passion for animals and spending time with them brings me as much joy as I hope it brings them which is what brought me to this app, not for money but just the joy of being around animals! Right now, I only have a cat of my own so I’m looking to spend some time walking and playing with dogs (and/or cats) of any size and character! :) I work Tuesdays- Fridays 6:30 am - 2:30 pm. I am available every afternoon to come by your house to feed or play with your animals and take them for walks! I care for pets by spending quality time with them. I live an active lifestyle so any opportunity to play outside with a pet or take them for a walk will be beneficial for both of us! I enjoy teaching them tricks, rewarding them with treats, and being able just to pet them and be around them brings me joy!

About: I’ve cared for Shiba Inus for several years—first helping raise and care for my girlfriend’s senior Shiba Inu for over 3 years, and now raising my own 5-month-old Shiba Inu from puppyhood. This has given me hands-on experience with both ends of the spectrum—from understanding the needs of an older dog, like slower-paced walks and gentler handling, to the patience and energy required to train and manage a puppy. I’m confident working with dogs that have strong personalities and require consistency, especially breeds like Shibas that are known for their independence. I’ve handled both a senior dog and a puppy, so I understand how to adjust care based on age and temperament. I’m detail-oriented, patient, and always focused on keeping pets safe and comfortable. I know how important structure and consistency are for a pet’s well-being, and I bring that same level of care to any dog I work with—whether it’s managing medication for a senior or reinforcing leash training with a younger pup. I work full time during the week, so I’m primarily available on weekends and holidays. I make the most of that time by planning dedicated pet care activities—whether that’s long walks or playtime. Because I have a dog of my own, pet care is already built into my routine, and I’m used to giving animals the time, attention, and structure they need to feel safe and happy. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my own home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision and regular routines. I make sure dogs feel comfortable and secure by providing familiar surroundings, structured play, and clear boundaries. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and follow all instructions closely to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’m also experienced in reading dog behavior, which helps me anticipate needs and avoid stressful situations.

About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life. I have a love for all animals no matter the size or type. I’m excited for what’s to come! Schedule will be set based on each person and their needs, I’m available all day on the weekends especially. I’m flexible and ready to make changes if necessary. I do care for animals in home and at clients homes if needed. I have 3 parks around where I live, which is great for when there’s nice weather!

I can also send photo and video updates while you’re away — so you feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands! I speak English and Portuguese, and I’m always happy to answer any questions. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I have a flexible schedule and I’m available during the day and night, including weekends. I’m always happy to discuss and adjust my availability to match your needs. I always create a peaceful, loving atmosphere where pets feel safe and cared for. “Ava cared for my dog and cats while I was away for a few days. I was quite nervous about leaving my pets as I don’t travel often, but Ava did a wonderful job and allowed me to have a worry free trip. Ava sent many updates throughout the trip and was very responsive to my replies. Ava was always very transparent and honest about how the stay was going. My dog and cats were all in great spirits when I returned.”

I’ve had Maria watch my three golden retrievers and two cats multiple times, I always feel at ease when they’re in her hands. Whether it’s walking dogs, feeding pets, or just spending time with them to make sure they feel loved, she always goes above and beyond. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, and truly passionate about animals, I can’t recommend Maria enough!”

“If there is someone I would trust to watch my pets it would be Emily. She is loving and caring but more than that she takes pride in caring for the animals she works with as if they were one of her own. She is extremely reliable and responsible as well, I know if I ask her for something specific in regards to taking care of one of my pets that she will do it the way I asked. I couldn’t recommend someone more”
