“Asal was fantastic! She was so patient with my cantankerous cat, Eva. She could have just gone about her tasks and gave up on interacting with Eva, but she was persistent and won her over. Eva doesn't really like anyone, so it is a huge deal that she allowed someone new to pet her and even gave some purrs! I'm convinced that Asal must be some kind of cat whisperer. She also has excellent communication skills. I loved the summaries of the visits and pictures. Next time we get away, I will definitely be rebooking!”
About: Growing up, I had 3 dogs, 2 bunnies, and a guinea pig! To say I love animals is an understatement. I’ve had dogs ranging from adult rescues (who needed some extra training) to puppies (who needed all the training) to senior dogs (who just needed some loving). I’ve helped friends and family dog and cat sit throughout my life and love to give them the exercise or snuggles that they need! I wanted to add a routine to my current my schedule and know that playing with your pups would be the perfect fill in for my current puppy-less home. It’s hard to have a bad day when you’re spending time with our 4-legged nieces and nephews! I will, of course, follow any set up that you have in your home, to ensure the pups are comfortable and never stressed out by a new person being there. If we’re out on walks, I am a big stickler for staying close to me and sitting before crosswalks or when someone approaches. I think this helps keeps everyone calm and happy!

About: I've always had a love for animals as I have grown up with dogs. My family trained Guide Dog puppies for the blind for several years so I have experience with training dogs as well as caring for them. I have been responsible for feeding, walking bathing dogs as I have been dog sitting for friends and family for years. In addition, I have been cat sitting for several years now as well, meaning that I have also been responsible for feeding them (wet and dry food) and taking care of the litter boxes. I have also done some volunteer work with an animal shelter in Fredericksburg. During my last two years of high school I was enrolled in a veterinary science program which involved hands on experience with a variety of animals, including weekly dog grooming. I also currently work as a doggy daycare attendant at Healthy Hounds Playground! I am a recent college graduate looking for a full time job so I have plenty of time to care for pets! I am available on a daily basis for however long is needed, whether that be drop in visit's or house sitting for various periods of time. In my own home, I have two Australian Shepherds whom I take extra time to play with, in addition to their daily needs such as being fed and taken out. In my client's homes, I will ensure that the animal(s) basic needs are met (food, water, etc.) while also spending plenty of time engaging with them. This would look different for each animal, depending on if the pet needs more exercise or just somebody to cuddle with!

Chelsea did an amazing job watching our two cats for 12 days! She administered medicine every day to both Hank and Zozo and she regularly checked/cleared the LitterRobot. She ALSO kept the outdoor food/water fresh and filled for our local strays. Chelsea communicated with me daily and sent cute photos/stories of our cats. I am incredibly grateful for how well she cared for them! I can’t recommend Chelsea enough and will be using her again for future trips!

It was my first time leaving my two beloved cats under the care of a sitter. A friend told me that Jonathan was responsible and kind. I got daily pictures of my furry children playing with him. It looked like they also had a nice vacation. He followed my instructions and communicated well during my trip. I am glad he was around to feed and keep my cats company. I will always hire him for all my future getaways.
I’m not even sure where to begin! Elisabeth is OUTSTANDING! She came to drop in for my 2 cats last minute and was so responsive!!! She did more than expected by playing with my cats, getting my mail, & letting me know about any changes with my house!
