About: My experience comes from caring for my own dogs and dog sitting big dogs for friends who don't want their pups to stay in their comfy familiar home while they are away. I've owned labs, huskies, shepherds and collies. Most recently I had two collies that have travelled with me around the world. Sadly both have passed recently So I'm without a dog of my own but love having them around. I am happy to meet new dogs of all ages and breeds. I love large dogs too but my place may be too small for some but I'm happy to meet up and see what works. I work from home a lot and am very flexible to drop in or take your pup(s) for a walk. I run most days and can have pups join if that's something they like. I am very cautious about dog handling and will follow your instructions. I will only care for dogs in my home after I've taken care of them at your home and I am familiar enough with the dog so that I am sure it will be ok in a new space and that I can accommodate its needs.
“We used Omri for the first time and he was wonderful! He was easy to communicate with. He really enjoyed being with our cats and they liked him too! He was agreeable to chicken/garden management as well! We are grateful for the job he did for us.”

“Julia is wonderful! She has been extremely thoughtful to our cat’s particular personality, habits, and behaviors as well as respectful to our household preferences on multiple occasions while we were away from home. She’s extremely responsive and even stepped up last minute after a death in the family that necessitated unexpected travel. She’s always ensured our cat is well cared for and extremely happy when we return home. I highly recommend her!”

“We have two dogs, one with a little anxiety, but as soon as he met Kathryn he was put at ease. She is so kind and thoughtful and gave our dogs so much love while we were gone. You could tell how happy they were to be playing with her in the photos that she sent. The last photo they looked so sad when she was leaving. We highly recommend Kathryn, she was amazing!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was ten years old, and I absolutely love their company! I love caring for pets of all ages; our sweet rescue passed away a year ago, who we took in during her golden years, and now my wife and I have a 2.5 year old pup with an abundance of youthful energy. O she loves making new friends, and we would love to have some more dog time ourselves! We go on regular walks, play in the dog park at least once a day, and can handle any dietary, medical, or other type of need your little one has. I’m a paraprofessional; so I have summers off. I work freelance and gig jobs, which I mostly do from home and am used to scheduling around a dog care routine, as we have our own dog at home. I have a fenced yard, and our own dog to keep yours company! I have no issues following any boundaries you’d like me to follow with your pet: I’m happy to crate them when they need time to relax, keep them on or off leash as you prefer, and make sure they’re provided stimulation, play, and opportunities to earn treats!
“Armani is exceptional and takes great care of Cleo. She is very professional and goes above and beyond to make sure her time is optimized with Cleo. I feel very comfortable having her drop by and spend time with Cleo. I highly recommend her and will continue to use her services!”

About: From Chihuahuas and Dachshunds, to German Shepards and Pit Bulls, I am no stranger to dogs of all shapes and sizes. Cats, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, I've cared for them all! No matter your pets needs, I am sure I can deliver. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a full-time job with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, which allows me to plan reliably around pet care. I’m available for evening care after work, and full availability on weekends. I prioritize sticking to pets’ established routines and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care during the times I’m with them. I prioritize personalized care, whether that's providing regular exercise, meals, medication, grooming, etc. I ensure pets feel loved and secure through companionship and communication with owners, while also being prepared for emergencies.
About: I can RUN or WALK your dog! I have owned/looked after pets my whole life (small, medium size, large dogs and cats). I absolutely love all animals and am an extremely dependable, trustworthy and communicative person. Being a fitness enthusiast I am willing to run with your pets or throw the ball if you want them to get tired out! My schedule is extremely flexible. I am going back to school to get my masters in Nutrition Sciences and currently work in the kitchen at a Presbyterian/St. Lukes Medical Center in Denver. Playing division 1 sports in college taught me so many things including being diligent and extremely hard working. I will always be on time and conscientious of the details that are so important to your pets' needs. I can't wait to meet you and your little friend if you will have me! Currently part time so contact me and we can work something out! I am happy to work my schedule around you or chat through times that work best. Happy to come to your house and take care of your animal! I am very respectful of the space I’m in! If you need something small done around the house too, I’m happy to take care of it!

About: Hi, I’m Meredith! I work full-time in the dairy industry, but when I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me spending time with animals. I absolutely love dogs, but I’m not in a place to have one of my own right now, so I enjoy using my free time to walk, play with, and care for other people’s dogs. It’s the perfect way for me to get my dog fix while helping busy pet parents! I do have two cats at home who keep me entertained, and I’ve spent my life around animals of all kinds. I helped establish and lived on my parents’ bison farm and still help out there regularly. In addition to bison, I’ve cared for pigs, chickens, and goats, so I’m comfortable around a variety of animals and genuinely enjoy being around them. I also grew up riding horses and have extensive experience handling and caring for them. Being around animals my entire life has taught me how to recognize their individual personalities, respect their boundaries, and provide patient, attentive care. Whether your pet loves walks, playtime, or just having someone to keep them company, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d give my own. I know every pet has their own personality, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work full-time in the dairy industry Monday through Friday, so I’m typically available for walks and drop-in visits in the evenings on weekdays. My weekends are generally much more flexible, allowing me to accommodate walks and drop-in visits. My schedule is usually consistent, and I’ll always communicate clearly with you about my availability. Unfortunately my apartment complex does not allow me to bring animals to my apartment. However, I am willing to travel to a clients home to care for their animals. I treat every client, their pets and their home with the utmost respect and care.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Lebanon
Jamie is great! As her profile shows she has a great understanding of cats. She knows how to approach them, their behaviors, and what to look out for. My cats warmed up to her instantly. Her knowledge is apparent in her notes which are detailed. She was able to get even better pictures of them than me. She was easy to work with and has an overall bright personality. I would definitely book with her again and recommend her to other pet parents.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lebanon. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
