“Emily was a great help caring for my cats. She gave my older cat much needed love and attention as well as administered medication. She provided daily updates with photos of both (happy) cats. Grateful to have her!”

“Ellis helped us out in a pinch when we were in the middle of changing jobs! Our new puppy loved him and we trusted him from the start. He's a great guy, good with dogs, and I highly recommend his service!”

“Valerie was great with my cats. The younger cat was happy to soak up her attention. Both cats seemed happy and well fed upon my return from vacation. My home was as I had left it. (And, since my older cat tends to vomit, I imagine that means Valerie cleaned up any incidents.)”

“Martha was great in checking in on our cat! She sent us a lot of pictures and videos and even brought her own toys for our cat to play with. I would definitely look to book her services again in the future!”

“Armani was great with my cats, who clearly adored her. That's saying a lot, since one of them has fear of new people. The house was immaculate and the litter boxes cleaned out. I also received great pictures and updates. Thanks Armani!”

About: I’ve taken care of and lived with dogs and cats my entire life. I am an agriculture student and former horseback rider with experience caring for animals including chickens, goats, horses, cows and more. I am currently a full time student, but my remote coursework allows me ample flexibility to care for animals multiple times throughout any given day. Unfortunately my apartment complex does not allow me to bring animals to my apartment. However, I am willing to travel to a clients home to care for their animals. I treat every client, their pets and their home with the utmost respect and care.

“Kathryn took care of our rather antisocial and uncooperative cat during our vacation, coming twice a day to medicate her. It was not easy, but Kathryn was great about communicating with us and she creatively problem-solved to get the job done. We were super impressed with her reliability, patience and kindness. Highly recommended!! We are very grateful to her.”

“Lillian was an amazing and attentive cat sitter! She completed the daily drop ins and played with my cat and gave her lots of love. My cat can get really anxious when she's left alone but when I came back home she was at ease and happy. I am so thrilled with the care she got from Lillian!”

“Kyra took excellent care of my cat, Charlie. She was communicative and so responsive, and she sent such great updates and photos at each check in. I will happily have Kyra back for future needs.”

“It was the first time we used Rover and we were very pleased! Julia did an awesome job taking care of Rubi. Communication with updated and pictures was great and appreciated!”

About: I’ve always loved animals, but I didn’t realize my passion until I worked at a dog daycare during my undergrad where I worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and needs. After graduation I worked as a veterinary assistant for 2 years. If your semi-cooperative pet needs an ear clean, gland expression, or medication I’ll be more than happy to help out! I have a special place in my heart for senior pet care as my own dog (and family dogs I grew up with) are all geriatric. I’m currently spending my summer in the Upper Valley before beginning my 3rd year of veterinary school. I’m in the Upper Valley for the summer with short internships at the beginning of June and end of July. Other than that, my availability is fairly open! I have a dog at home who is picky with other animals, so I unfortunately cannot bring your pet into my home. From the experience I have working in veterinary clinics, I have gained knowledge and training to help me care for pets in a variety of situations and ensure their safety and well-being. I will always prioritize a pet’s comfort, health, and happiness, and I’m confident handling pets and can provide extra attention or care to them as needed. I want to make each visit a positive experience, offering reliable, loving care while you’re away.

“Josephine did great with my cats. She sent pictures with each check in, and gave my picky senior cat his meds, which can be challenging. They seem quite happy with their care.”

About: Hi!! I am a Dartmouth researcher and alumni who loves spending time with animals and getting to know the Upper Valley better by house-sitting! I have a long history of pet care experience from my own pets to my neighbors and friends here in Hanover! I am experienced with senior pets and in administering pet medications! I am a lover of all pets, most of all, dogs AND cats!! I’m currently in-between full time jobs and work short shifts in the restaurant industry, so I am ready and able to care for your pets! I enjoy spending time with pets and your home as if they are my own: with excitement, respect, and cleanliness. I am an extremely active runner and hiker, so I would love to take any opportunity to be active with your pet (if they like!) Walks are my favorite part of the day too!

“Nora is so great with our cat Barney. She made sure to spend extra time to give him pets and cuddles.”

“Abby did an amazing job looking after my cat. She provided lots of pictures and detailed updates during each of her drop-in visits. She was very responsive to messages and got along wonderfully with my cat. I would definitely recommend her and ask for her assistance again!”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Looking to get my own, but in the meantime, would be excited to watch yours. I have plenty of toys and treats and I’m happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable to keep your furry friend happy! I currently work at Dartmouth Hitchcock full-time which is why I typically can only watch during the weekend. My flexibility means I can also sometimes work remote. Depending on your preference, I’m sure we can work out something great. I am happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable. I love to go for a walk, so I’m happy to take them down to the small park that we have. Or if they’re not much of a walker, I’m happy to sit and relax as long as they know how to pick a TV show.

“Emily-Claire did a wonderful job taking care of our two cats while we were away! She was extremely communicative and took excellent care of our cats’ needs. We highly recommend her and would absolutely book her again in the future.”
